Surprise!! Blog Candy

Don’tcha just love surprises?  I sure do!!  Well I got the go ahead from Kelley with Our Daily Bread Designs to offer blog candy!!  Yay!  What that means is a lucky reader, who will be picked on Saturday, October 18th by random.org, will be receiving one of any unmounted set that Our Daily Bread Designs offers.  Remember, five new sets were just released on October 1st, you can see them HERE.   

To qualify for the blog candy all I ask is that you leave a comment on this post, prior to 10/18/08 at  noon CST, one post per person.   On your post tell me which 5 ODBD sets, from all the sets they offer,  are your very favorite with 1 being your first favorite, two being your second favorite, three being your third favorite and so on – so your  post will look something like this except the names of the sets will be spelled out:

Our Daily Bread Design stamps are awesome, in fact  I pop in to see the new releases that always happen on the first of the every month!  Here are my favorite 5 sets:

1.   Light of the World
2.   Full name of second set
3.   Full name of third set
4.   Full name of fourth set
5.   Full name of fifth set

Okay, make it easy on me and be sure to state the full name instead of abbreviating, the names are short so this shouldn’t be a problem.   It’s your best bet to go to the website personally rather than copying and pasting from someone elses answer – heaven forbid they didn’t have the name right!  You must list five!  Hey, and the winner doesn’t have to pick from the list of favorites, we’re just curious about what you like.

    It was difficult to just pick 5….every stamp set has something in it that I want and the verses are all favorites and bless my heart.     I love so many of ODBD sets!

    1-“Sing to the Lord!” – I love the bible verses in this set! Praising our Lord!

    2-“We Three Kings”- What a beautiful Christmas set

    3 – “Give Thanks” – I love the verses in this set also! Plus you can use it on cards of encouragement as well as Thanksgiving, Fall and Thank You.

    4-“Flourished Christain Symbols”- I especially love the bird, cross and the two bible verses on this set.

    5.”Hope”. I love the words of encouragement and verses on this set. I would use them with the crosses on “Cross of Christ”.

    I would love to see ODBD offering single verse stamps. I am aways looking for that special verse to stamp on the inside of a card, or as a focal point on the front. I also love sets you can use in more than one way. Can’t wait to see what ODBD releases in the future!

    Oh, what a great treat Becca. I am so inspired when I see the ODBD stamp sets. It is so hard to find such great Inspirational stamps. It was hard to pick just 5 – but here are my choices:

    ( This was my late husbands fav and mine too. We used songs with this text at both our wedding and Steve’s funeral)

    (so many applications and lovely texts)

    (lovely prayer cards and more)

    2. Reason For the Season- This reminds me of a story my friend wrote. Love it!
    3. We Three Kings.. I love the nativity story and have always been facinated by the kings that traveled to bear gifts.
    4. Footprints in the Sand. This poem brings tears to my eyes to think of the amazing love our Saviour has for us!

    1) HOPE – is my first choice. I am a cancer survivor myself, but my brother was recently diagnosed as having terminal cancer. There are so many wonderful sets here, but this one touched my heart because it’s applicable for me at this given time to send encouraging cards with the right application. Iwent on your website and saw the post for ODBD and for curious reasons went toviewthem. But I was so blessed when I saw the quality, and scriptural stamps you had to offer, I bought some. I couldn’t buy all I wanted right now, but will definately return later to get more! What a Blessing it was for me! I’m going to tell others about ODBD stamps.

    There were too many to actually pick which was my favorite, but here are my 5 top pics!
