Hi there blog friends! My, don’t I seem low key? Yes I do. Well, remember my technical mishaps of last week? Well I took the computer in day before yesterday and it’s not going to make it, so I’m looking for a new one. Also I hate to admit this, but my blog needs a tuneup too – I’m indeed having problems with the comments and help is nowhere in sight. People who have helped me in the past are unavailable so I’m looking into several options. I may be looking at a new theme. In the meantime, I would so appreciate if you could bear with me. No need to email me about comments, I know — believe me I know :-) In the interim, perhaps thoughts of all the wonderful things I saw at CHA to make me forget about technical things, right?!? No rhyme or reason here – just things I saw that I liked! Above, I couldn’t resist but snap a pic of these Tim Holtz Tags – I think I have most of his sets and it’s probably about time I ink them up!!
Looks like more of those All Over the Page punches are coming. You know I’m a punch-a-holic, right?
Shabby Chic goodness with October Afternoon. Since there’s no more Girls Paperie – I’m looking for my shabby fix, lol!
I spent quite a bit of time in the Kaisercraft booth!! OMGoodness, they have a Timeless Vintage Line coming to market that is a must have!! There’s some of everything to love in this collection – roses, maps, time pieces patterns, text print, butterflies, postage marks. The seem to have noticed everything that’s trend and wrapped it up in one collection. I know I’ll have to have this in 6 x 6 and 12 x 12. What’s a paperaholic to do?
This is another of the Kaisercraft collections I’m in love with – Bonjour!! All I can say is, yes!
Thankfully someone puts out a traditional Christmas collection that hits home. Yay, Kaisercraft, I have plenty of Christmas paper, but this one will be a staple in my collection this year.
Stopping by the Websters Pages booth I was delighted to see these little medallions (look like cameos). There’s a name that’s escaping me but I love them!! Oh, and look at the little cameos that are made to pop onto pins . . . love!
Over an hour at the Prima booth! Sorry for the dearth of pictures there, but I’ll tell you their new Printery and Romantique paper lines are must haves!! I snapped off this picture of some resin elements that I thought were charming. Although I would probably keep mine white, they look fab painted as these shutters here show.
This is a sample made using the Romantique paper I was raving about. Look at those sweet shutters.! There was so much at this booth that I simply had to grab a catalog so that I could remember it all.
I’ve never seen punches as huge as these at We’ R Memories. The punches through flips of levers make full 12″ x 12″ pages like this. Oh.my.word!
Sigh . . . at the Advantus booth I spied this little calendar and oh, joy I have most of these things. Have to try this!
So what does it mean when you open the window on the way home and a rainbow is coming along too!! Long week, long flight but a good end!!
If you see funny stuff on my blog, just chalk it up to me tinkering, but please keep on trying. I’m stirring a lot of pots at once, but it will all iron out. See you soon!!
Sounds like CHA was fun, I can’t imagine what it must be like to be in a place with some many creative minds! Thank you for sharing your pictures with us…makes me want to go even more. :-)
Whenever you seen a rainbow means something good is coming your way! Sounds like you saw alot of neat stuff at CHA. Thanks for sharing with us!

Hope all your computer problems go away.

Great stuff Becca. Glad you had a good time. I’ve been having trouble commenting for several weeks now. I’m never sure if it actually gets posted or not. One time I went back and found I’d posted something twice. Your blog is great and I’ll hang in there and even if I can’t post, know you;ve got a big fan here.
Becca, thanks for a quick overall picture of CHA, your picks are sure mine, can’t go wrong with any of them. My dear friend Joan from Joan’s Garden had her picture taken with you and she posted it on her blog. I’m so jealous. She is a dear friend. I’m so glad I found her and I can say you are a dear friend ciber friend, I wake up and after saying my good morning prayers, I go to my computer and look to see the post, you are one of the first I open every morning along with Joan’s and a few others. Then I check the rest. Thanks for all that you share with all of us.
God Bless and Hugs,
Gretchen
I would love to attend CHA. I just think of all the money I could save and spend on the craft items instead of airfaire, hotels and such. But one of these times I am going to splurge. How fun to see stuff first hand and all the demos of how to use them, WOW. I just ran across a new paper line of KaiserCraft – Miss Nelly Collection, and thought of you instantly. You should check it out if you haven’t already. It really looks like you.
I am so glad you had such a wonderful time, and thanks for sharing all the pics. Loved the calendar project from the Advantus booth, and hope you share that with us. Loved all the new Spellbinders, and really fell in love with all of the new Tim Holtz & Ranger products. Just so much to take in but fascinating and fun stuff to explore.
Marcie
Welcome home Becca! I saw your picture with Joan from Joan’s Garden! Thanks for showing some of those new goodies! I too am having computer problems…have spent hours online with my server and security and my printer no longer will print!!!! Now I’ve tried to reload the drivers??? Still not working! UGH! But I loved the last picture- my favorite the rainbow! God is awesome and things will work out!

Thanks for sharing your impressions of CHA! Can’t wait for all the new goodies to come out!
And if you are looking to replace your computer, I highly suggest going to a Mac. I can’t believe I resisted so long. Especially if you love graphics, Macs are the way to go. Macs are becoming a huge share of the market, and there is more and more available for them, plus you can always run Windoze programs on them too with their dual-core processors. If you have a problem, you make an appt at the “Genius Bar” in a Mac store and they will get you up and running, but I am amazed at how trouble-free mine has been, and I use it all the time for all sorts of things. It took me ~ 2 weeks to get used to the Mac despite being a PC person since the 80s. The problem was that I was looking for a complex way to do things, and the Mac is so much easier! It becomes intuitive after a very short while, and if you always remember to right click, there’s not much you will have problems with. They usu. do a special before school starts- Macs are now >50% of the college market. You won’t find rock-bottom pricing on them like with PCs, but they have a longer life and better resale when you want to upgrade. And with less problems and downtime- you can just do your work/play and not fuss with hardware or software problems- they are worth every precious penny!
my oh my!!
looking foreward to both get my hands on some of this, and foremost what you can do with it!!
Since i’m overseas ,i’m stuck with ordering online- and find it so inspiring to follow your post,- and through todays blogg,i can feel your enjoyment – and it makes me happy also!
Bekka…..Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! For sharing the punchers….I was using punches long before they were popular and when you could only buy the small ones for $10 each or more. I am looking forward to seeing the new punches…love to create unique appearances with these wonderful tools!
Love the Cameos….thanks! Many thanks! Carol

TFS CHA with us readers. So much I want to buy, isn’t that the way it is supposed to work. God bless.
Oh sigh………such wonderfulness…….
What fun CHA seems to be and thank you so much for sharing your favourite bits with us. I’m chomping at the bit in anticipation of the new stuff being available in stores up here in the frozen north. Kidding. It’s Montreal and we’ve just had a tropical heat wave like everywhere else.
Sorry your tech predicament persists. I’ve been lucky with comments. They post easy-peasy (well almost) with both Explorer and Firefox and using a PC that dates back to, roughly the Carter administration. I like your website; everything about it is great. Style, colour, writer, artist, gorgeous cards and other delights, Becca Bits, and so on and so on. Whatever you decide on, Becca I know it will be top notch. Good luck.
Looks like you had a BLAST at CHA!!!!!!!!!! I’m LOVING EVERYTHING you’ve showed us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing with us!!!!!!!!!!! :) Hanging in there… didn’t even realize there was a problem with the computer till you said so!!!!!! Hope all works out for you! Know just how it is when the computer dies on you… HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Fun fun!!! I did not go to CHA this year- the open to the Public show was much smaller. I look forward to seeing what you are up to!
Becca…I thoroughly enjoyed your take on CHA! perhaps someday I’ll get a chance to attend, but in the meantime, I rely on my favorite papercrafters to share the wealth! You shared great. Lovely things that I look forward to seeing a lot of in the future. Welcome home and good luck with your new computer
wow to those huge punches! thanks for sharing
Thanks for the great view of CHA. I love those punch all over the paper punches. So cool!
Oh – punches, and papers, and stuff – oh, my!! I just imagine you trying to soak it all in while standing in each booth…..goodness, your brain had to hurt after awhile. Glad you were able to take pictures!!
Thank you so much for sharing this with us….
hugs
Thank you Becca for all the samples. I feel like I was there.
Wow – love the punches, both all over the page and the ones used on the 12 inch papers – is that ONE PUNCH? I hope it’s something I can use – some of the larger punches are difficult for me strength wise – and even though I don’t scrap (lots and lots of cards), I’m sure I could have lots of fun and maybe convert to scrapping too :-)
Thanks for the pic’s of some of the crafty goodies at CHA. I guess it’s a rgood thing I wasn’t there…I’d want it ALL! Sorry to hear that your technical problems continue. Afraid I’m no help in that department! Will keep my fingers crossed for you.
Hugs,
R/

Hi Becca
just wanted you to know that I love your designs and even tho’ we can’t always get the stamps etc here in Scotland, I love the inspiration you give me. My cards are becoming more colourful and I am certainly using far more ribbon than ever before! You inspired me to buy a die cutting machine and boy, am I having fun!! Tho’ the bank manager (who is also my husband!) isn’t very happy as he is having to extend my credit and my craft room!
Any sign of another topic under the 31 days section? Just loved the ideas being shared there.
Keep smiling and keep strong
Elaine, Central Scotland
I can’t seem to find that 12×12 full page punch you described at We’ R Memories. Any suggestions

Becca, I KNEW I saw you at CHA! I told one of the other teachers I was with “that looks a lot like Becca Feeken”. I wish now that I’d gone over to say hello. Nice show — no waiting, no crowds, no hassle. Loved it!
This was all cute. I love the tags. Great for bookmarks. Everything else looks fun too.

Hello Becca. I don’t expect this comment to get through (as usual) but hope your foot heals soon and that you can get all your technical problems worked out ASAP. Love your work!
EllenaElizabeth, Australia
I really don’t know how to participate in anything that you plan. That is not important to me. I truly love you site. Your card making is awesome to me. It really got me started. Started giving cards to my co-workers. I love sharing what I have learned to others. Even gave help to one of the Dr. I work with on her sons project. Little guy did great. They were so happy. It truly is thanks to you. Now about spellbinders dies. I am addicted. Need to check myself now because I am retired. I will never stop crafting. I always check in on you daily. So thank you and God Bless. Raja
I hope this goes thro. Not to keen on how to do this. It doesn’t matter. I would just like you to know that I have learned much from you. I have made a number of cards and given them to my co-workers. I even helped one of the Drs. on a project and her son did well. I know were suppose to take care of patient but we have fun too. Spellbinders Dies I’m addicted. Now that I’m retired I have to practice self control. I check your site every day. So keep those cards coming. I also enjoy your tutorials. Thanks so much. Raja
Becca, Sounds like you had a great time at the CHA and what a beautiful assortment of embellishments you posted for us to look at. Thank you for the great tutorials on your website – I now have my laptop working and out in my craft room so I can easily pull up your website and work while watching hands on demonstrations that you provide, grrrrreat!!!
Hi Becca…..love your inspiration and creativity. One day I would love to go to CHA that’s my dream/goal. I soooooooooo look forward to your blog as it gives me the “I can do it, just go for it” push I need sometimes.
Your the best!!
Joan

I like the Orchard Harvest tags and especially what you did with those. You are my inspiration. Hope your foot is doing better.
Becca,
What an awsome event CHA must be. I would want everything.
I LOVE Spellbinders, Webster paper etc, etc, etc. I want it all.
You are such a GREAT inspiration to so many people. Please don’t ever stop. Thank you!!

Wow! CHA sounds like so much fun! I bet the inspiration and joy during the event is palpable. I know I would be so thankful to be there. I think I will plan on attending.
