Dear Blog friends, I had a chance to read all the comments from my blog post on Saturday morning. I’m simply overwhelmed by your words. One of the comments said I hope this is one of the days where you feel loved by all of your readers. One of the days? Just so you know, I feel that way everyday. But more than that, I feel the sweet generosity of spirit of all the readers who pass through leaving thoughts and tips for others.
I do have a card to share today, it features a new JustRitePapercrafts set called Thank You Labels 20. The set is designed to match Spellbinders™ Labels 20 and the center circles matches Spellbinders™ Standard Circles SM. In addition I used Spellbinders™ Marvelous Squares to frame it all in. I’m intrigued by the loops on the side of the frame, so naturally I’ve had a go at different weaving formations and this is one of a few I’ll be showing you. The colors here are a little bit darker than my normal palette, but a nice change of pace.
Sometimes I can’t bear to cut the tails on the ribbons too short. I know that will prompt people to ask what I do with them or how they can be sent that way. I just tuck them inside the card – way easier than trying to get them the correct length and honestly I like the long length.

Sincerely . . . thanks for stopping by, see you soon!!

Gorgeous card Becca, love the darker colors used. It’s a little old world yet shabby-chic at the same time if that makes sense. You have embellished just beautifully. Amazing work. As always Becca, TFS!!! :-D
Really beautiful….The weaving technique is quite amazing. But part of me hates to cover up the beautiful frame. I love the color palette!
This is such a gorgeous creation! I love the color combination. I love coming here just to see what beautiful things are there to brighten my day. Thank you so much, always, for your inspiration. I’m very grateful for everything you share.
I really like the black. One of my fellow cardmakers is very creative and she uses a lot of black. every week when we get together, I take my impad and show them all your creations for the week. Love getting the second one so fast ~ guess Sunday’s rain put you in a creative mood. Know it did me. The stamps add so much! Love it!

Oh my! Another magnificent masterpiece! Your ribbon weaving and bow are even more spectacular than usual – if that is possible. I love your blog and have learned so much from you. Thank you.
Wow, what an amazing card, stunning! Love the woven ribbon in the background, a real eye-catcher, it made me go wow the moments I saw it.
I love all your cards. They are so intricate and beautiful. I would love to take a class from you and find out how you put the different backgrounds and dies together. You are amazing.
Love your color combo, it is stunning , Glad to hear what you do with your bows, I made one the other day felt like I had to cut it to fit in the mail.

P.S. Your cards are almost beyond description. BUT you kick that up another notch (sorry Emerrill . . .) by your photography-card awesome and such immaculate (I’m running out of words . . .) backgrounds used in the photo.

Merci

WOW! Such a stunning card. . . from your paper, ribbon weaving, frames, sentiment, flowers, and your outsanding bows, this card is a masterpiece. You are such an inspiration both with your card making and your words of wisdom. I too would love to know what you do with all your beautiful cards you make.
From the bottom of my heart I want to say a huge “Thank You” for keeping your blog site updated, sharing such gorgeous cards and making me feel so inspired with your words of wisdom from your heart.
May you continue to be Blessed with the love of family, friends and creativity in your card creations.
Becca, this is simply beautiful.
Becca: Where did the die cut of the sewing machine come from? It’s so pretty!
Mary
I really love all your cards. You are so talented. This one is gorgeous and I love how you did the ribbon behind, too.
Very beautiful and all the extra ribbon. Can’t figure out how you did that. Anyone would love receiving such a card. Know I would. Edna
Becca, you do not make cards. You create art. What a God given talent you have!
Well, you did get some beige and a shade of pink or rose in there! The black is a knockout! You must be in high hog-heaven when the new dies come out. Spellbinder’s products just keep getting better and more innovative. What wonderful toys for someone as creative and “out-of-the-box” thinking as you! What does it take to get you out of that craft barn when CHA is on the way? It is pure torture for me trying to figure out which ones I love the most and how much I can spend this time. Whacking those die templates is recommended by one of the other intricate die makers… they say it won’t damage them. I still try to be a bit judicious about how much and how hard I bang the die on the edge of my craft table. I haven’t tried the wax paper but that’s on my list of things to try. Blessings and Hugs, Becca.
awesome! love the color combination.
Becca you make my day!! First thing in the morning I opened your mail and I got the biggest lift! Just what I needed. I hope yu are lifted up by your fans!! You are terrific. Artist AND amazing Christian witness!! Thanks for all you do!
Gorgeous card! I love the color palette you used and your style of elegance in all your designs. And thank you for consistently sharing the moments. It’s what brings the realism into an otherwise digital world.
Becca,
It just makes my day to see what beautiful creation you have to share with us. Sharing your thoughts and talent is so inspiring.
Becca, this is absolutely stunning! What a wonderful card for anyone to receive. And I loooove the long ribbons!
Just stunning! I always look at your creations, especially those with die cuts and wonder how your brain comes up with all the fascinating ways of using them?! I wish my brain would do that! But, I guess if we were all the same then life would be boring :)
The colouring of this card is also really beautiful. Your cards are always so decadent :)
Amazing dies and your card is so elegant. Thanks for sharing
Oh, so delightfully beautiful, Becca! Blessings!
Becca, you continue to amaze and inspire me! The colors are so far from your usual pastels but I would recognize it as a Becca card anywhere. You are such a delightful, warm, Christian woman. I would be proud to call you “friend” – actually, I think we all consider you a friend. I have already ” per-ordered” the wonderful Spellbinders “Marvelous Squares” and can’t wait to begin creating with these outstandingly intricate dies. Hugs and Blessings to a one of a kind, unique talent!
wow Becca, this is stunning. Love how you did the ribbon and the colors are gorgeous. Your photos of your cards are awesome too, do you actually own the stuff behind the cards you photograph?
Gorgeous!!
Absolutely GORGEOUS! I love the vintage look of this dusty rose ribbon on the darker background!
Becca: This card is so gorgeous. I love, love, love the colors. ALL your cards are so beautiful. Also, thank you for the videos you share with us. I always look forward to my e-mails from you. I can hardly wait to get the marvelous squares. I do have a question. Will we be able to use the marvelous squares in our Cuttlebug, or will I have to get a Grand Calibur?
Thanks for sharing you talents. You are an inspiration.
LOVE the ribbon weaving! And I love the long ribbon tails, too!
What a pretty card. Love the colors on this card and the ribbon weaving looks so nice on this card.
Is there any card that you do that is not GORGEOUS? It seems as I look at all your cards they are all just so breath-taking! You are a very talented artist, hun! God gifted you well :o)
Keep them rolling in!
Beautiful, as usual. I love your creative brain that “sees” so many alternative uses for dies, stamps, etc. It helps my elderly feeble one think slightly more outside the box!
Gorgeous creation and I love the Colors. Looking forward to more of your weaving techniques. Thanks for the inspiration you give everyday..
What endear you to me are not only your wonderful creations but your KIND AND GENEROUS HEART as reflected in the loving thoughts you leave us each time. Take care Becca. Love you dearly.
When you want to make a big “splash” use black with tan etc. and you have it. I am absolutely in love with the colors on this card. I fall for the black every time but do not use it often myself either. It is for very special occasions it seems. You are so creative and we are the beneficiaries of the time you spend on these lovely cards. Thank you.
Gorgeous card with rich deep colors. Regal colors. makes one think of times gone by and the richness of fabric, lace, ribbon and flowers. Just love it. Anxious to see how you did the weaving. …..have a good day…..hugs and smiles….thank you for you inspiration.
Hi–i love your work–each piece is something that should be framed! i have recently bought two Spellbinder’s dies that you use and i am having a terrible time getting the paper out of the die without ripping it. one is the Lace Doily Motifs and the other is the Splendid Circles. do you have any suggestions–paper thickness perhaps or just a LOT of patience.
thanks so much, Jo Anne
A work of art and a labor of love! Wow!
I just knew you’d do something interesting with those Marvelous Squares, you never disappoint. FABULOUS!!!
Blessings Bernie
STUNNING….like everything about your beautiful card…and your sharing spirit…
Blessings and Paper Hugs,
Jan
I have already pre-ordered the Marvelous Squares die. When I first saw the side slits, I too, immediately thought of ribbon weaving and wondered if that would work. Now I know it will !!! Your treatment on this card is magnificent. You say you will be showing a few examples of this technique, and I can hardly wait to see them. Your work is so inspirational to all of us. I have learned a lot from you. Thanks so much!
Beautiful card Becca, and I love those richer colours too. These new frames look amazing too, yet another for my wish list. I’m glad your blog cheers you up, it certainly puts a smile on your blog readers faces (I suppose I can only speak for myself, but I’m sure others would agree).
thanks for all the lovely ideas and inspiration you give us, for using your dies in ways that stretch the imagination.
Absolutely Love it!
Blessings!
Love the ribbon art you did and of course, thos SB Marvelous Squares, I’ve got to have that one!!! Very gorgeous as usual, Becca!!!!
Am I going to get an answer (recipe) to how to make those gorgeous snowflake-like paper embellishment you made with Spellbinders new Squares–or should I just forget about ever making them?
Becca, I read your post about losing a friend suddenly. Am so sorry for that as it must have been such a surprise and shock. May you be comforted with the memories that you shared with her. Hopefully you will see her in heaven. I try to look at your blog regularly but don’t post much. You are appreciated very much and I’m grateful for your beautiful creations. Since I don’t have a die cut machine I don’t have any dies to create them in my own version, but do enjoy looking.
Keep up the good work for us to view and thanks again.
Very lush. good job
WOW —Soo love the darker colors today. I’m hoping to place a
order for all the tips you’ve included for us…THANK YOU , thanks again!

Really love those ribbon’s you use am useless with ribbon’s
Such a great talent you have Becca!
Lovely, such neat criss-crossing of the ribbon, I can’t wait to get that square die :)
These colors are stunning together!! I love the “criss-cross” effect of ribbon. It reminds me of vintage parlor look back in the day. My mother, always had a parlor in their house, and it was in these colors. She was from Rhode Island, so she pronounced it “paw-la” Thank you for letting us peek into your life and trusting us to share your feelings and your talent. We are honored.
Cindy
This is just gorgeous and I love the way you have folded the ribbons on the side into the Marvelous Square die.
What a beauty! I love the ribbon weaving and the color combo is so “dramatically” elegant.. I know sometimes you say it seems to take you forever to choose your designer paper, but you always make a fantastic choice.
PJ
Everything about this card is beautiful beyond words! Only you could have thought to do the wonderful ribbon weaving which made the card go from wonderful to totally amazing!
So beautiful! I love the long tails, too!

Hope you’re feeling better today. I am thankful for every morning that I open my eyes and I am still here. The older I get (60+), the more I try to fit as many joyful things in my day as possible.
I lost my husband to a heart attack when I was 26. Many years ago, but I have never forgotten the lesson that I learned. Love every minute and every day to it’s fullest.
With that thought in mind, my daughter and I leave tomorrow to spend a month with my dear daughter in Tn and my 5(soon to be 6)grandchildren. I live in central Florida and get to see them once a year. This will be my first time to spend a whole month with them. My husband works at Disney(35 years) and cannot take that much time off. I feel a little guilty leaving him and my home behind, but feel the need to spend quality time with my daughter and grandchildren. In a few years, she might be able to manage a trip down to visit. Until then, I will make the yearly trip to see them.
My largest regret is that I will not be able to see your blog every morning. My computer and cards will have to sit for a month.
Have a wonderful July, Becca.
You are such an inspiration.
Love Cheryl
Just love these new majestic squares. Your card is so lovely. Love all the elements of this card from the gorgeous prima paper to the beautiful ribbon usage and of course this new die set, which is a stunner.
Marcie
I ab-so-lute-ly LOVE these colors. There is a nod to vintage and a bit girly. I so enjoy seeing the works of art that you share with us.
All your cards are works of art. Surely a delight to those who are lucky enough to receive them.
Beautiful cards. I am anxious to try some of these ideas. Do you have to pa extra postage? Most times I don’t mind but at Christmas it would be very expensive.
Just can’t wait to get my hands on the Marvellous Squares – you make such beautiful cards Becca.
On a more serious note – is there a possibility of your Bow Maker coming to a retailer in England at all? If I buy from America I am charged tax by our Customs which takes it way up in price.
Best wishes
June
A FRIEND JUST TOLD ME ABOUT YOU AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL WORK.IM JUST GETTING STARTED INTO MAKING CARDS , YOUR A BIG INSPRIATION TO ME .YOUR CARDS ARE UNBELIEVEABLE.THANKS FOR SHARING. GLENDA S NEWMAN
Thanks, Becca, for another gorgeous card. Would you consider doing a Becca bit on how you kept all the pieces together while weaving those ribbons. I can see how you did it. But I’m sure I’d be all thumbs at getting the ribbons taped down smoothly on the back without getting the front off kilter. Any tips?
Becca, thank you for your inspirational cards once again. I can’t wait to do some next week, which is our school vacation winter break time. I am looking forward to surrounding myself with craft materials, and not watching the clock!
GORGEOUS!!! Love the weave and the way the ribbon trails off the card.
Such a beautiful gorgeous card..I love the darker deeper coloring, it is so beautiful and makes the card so stunning and sharper.. A stunning card for a Thank You card… love the flowers and the ribbon combo…
Hugs, Jean
