Hi there friends! Forgive me, I must have a smidgen of Christmas, okay? I know, I know, it’s kinda of early but the thing is I have new stamps and new dies and can’t wait to show them! Today I’m sharing a traditional Christmas card and it just feels right. You know, that one card that feels traditional, it feels just like Christmas – well, this one does to me. Just what I need to kick off my holiday agenda!
On a 6″ square card base I added a panel of design paper matted with gold. On top of that I added Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders One on the left edge of the card cut from red. I then took Spellbinders Holly Tags and snipped it in half vertically and added a red panel matted with gold and then my image stamped on cream. Bow, button, shazam!!
Rubber Stamps: Unity – All is Calm All Is Bright
Craft Paper: Papertrey Ink – Red, Authentique, The Fine Touch Gold Metallic Poster Board – Hobby Lobby
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Versamark
Accessories: Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders One, Spellbinders Holly Tags, Paper Source Satin Ribbon, ButtonThanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
It’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas cards.
It takes a lot of thought to come up with the perfect card – which means a lot of time to plan out the final design.
thanks for sharing
The card is beautiful
Beautiful as always, Becca! Your designs are so balanced in proportion. I struggle with that at times.
The design paper you used is one of my favorites. Enough pattern without being too busy. Love this card!
It’s never too early for Xmas cards. I’ve been busy since July making mine. This one is stunning Becca! I’ve got a reindeer stamp that I’ve never used, so you’ve given me a great idea how to use it now. Thank you x
Beautiful love the layering and the deer on the Background is super. thanks
Hi Becca,
Lovely card. I was just thinking today I had better start thinking of designs to make my Xmas cards for I have lots to make, its never too early to start.
What a wonderful christmascard here Becca. Sooo beautiful yet so traditional, but still with something new about it too. I love, what you´ve done here, it´s sooo gorgeous.
Lovely. It’s cold and wet here today so this has cheered me up!
My favourite cards to make and I make 3 or 4 a month all year round! This one uses traditional papers and colours but a bang up to date image. Best of both worlds! Hugs Christine xx

Beautiful card, Becca. It does embody everything Christmas-y! That is a beautiful deer stamp, and you have showcased him perfectly with the red, green, and gold accents. Thanks for such a beautiful inspiration for Christmas!
Good morning! I so like the way you have used the Spellbinders Holly Tag. I don’t think I have seen this holly tag before now. I see how this would enhance my Christmas cards this year. Thank you for sharing!

Would love to make and get cards like this!
Traditional, elegant and easymade – not better way to make cards for Christmas.
Christmas cards are my favourite to make, but I have a long way to go to match your beautiful cards, Becca ;))
Beautiful Christmas card Becca! I have been thinking about starting my Christmas projects too – the closer it gets, the less time there always seems to be. This is a good reminder to get started.
How pretty, good idea Christine had, to make some all year long…so pretty, I’m going to have to get some gold paper…and AGAIN LOVE YOUR BOW AND STILL HOPING FOR A BOW VIDEO!!!
Hi Becca. Love, love, love your beautiful card. Your traditional colours and beautiful embellishments make for one very stunning card :-) Hugs xxx
Very pretty. I love the sentiment. I love the song.
Yes, Christmas is just around the corner and I better get busy. This is a beautiful card and a real inspiration for making the holiday cards. Thanks for sharing.
Love the card. Thanks for sharing. God bless and have a great day!
These are my favorite Christmas color combinations. It’s never too early for starting on Christmas cards. I already have the message and thinking about the front of the card. I am almost done with my Thanksgiving cards which I have to finish before I start the Christmas ones. Your card is beautiful.
Hi Becca, You do get mileage out of your Spellbinders curved borders. All my borders are stored in an Art Bin located on the highest shelf pretty much out of reach. I must get them down and start to think like Becca. Great red addition to the card. You do it every time–take something that’s just OK and turn it into something grand. Your bows do help, too. Many thanks. Barbara
Becca, truly beautiful!
Aww such a beautiful card ,i love it !
God Bless

Hi Becca, Another stunning card, the colours are sumptuous and the reindeer stamp is fabulous, I love it !!
I was so happy this morning when my friend text me to say that my name was on your Winners list, I hadn’t looked since the 30 Days of Giving had finished, so to my surprise when I looked, sure enough my name was there. I am ‘over the moon’ to have won one of your cards, I am so lucky. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can never Thank my friend enough for her text.
Enjoy your day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Absolutely adorable, as always! You so inspire us all – and if this doesn’t get us into the Christmas spirit, well, what can I say?

A beautiful traditional Christmas card today Becca! Never too early to start making Christmas cards. It is winter here at present so a good time to be indoors making cards whereas as it gets warmer the out doors beckons. Thanks for your inspirations
Very festive, Becca. Love that stamp. Went looking for that exact saying a couple years ago and wasn’t thrilled with what I found. Now I start another shopping list….. Yeah, like I’m not just going to add to…
Thanks!
Joni
Don’t be apologizing for Christmas cards! I finished mine LAST month!!! LOL! I decided a few years back that waiting until even November was just too stressful. I remembering telling my mother that the next year, if I didn’t do them sooner, I wasn’t going to make any–I’d just mail bought cards!! I’m so glad to be making them in the summer as I really enjoy it so much that way! That being said, I love your card, of course! :) I really like the patterned paper you used! It looks so pretty with the gold! Beautiful!
Hi, Becca,
So beautiful! I just really can’t get enough of red, green, white/cream and gold during the holidays. They give me such a happy feeling. I love the red panel at the left that supports the bow.
As for me – MORE CHRISTMAS CARDS!
Love and blessings,
Sandy
Can’t say that the stamp does much for me, but you certainly made a beautiful card of it!
Good morning Becca, another beautiful card just love it!!!
