Hello there!! Thanks for sticking with me even through this sporadic posting :-) I’m recharging my batteries and have a couple of things on the back burner however in the meantime, I want to share another project that I’ve not been able to show on my blog. This also was a project shared during my tenure with the Dirty Dozen; it’s a Notecard Kit with an altered box.
Very simply I purchased this wooden box at Hobby Lobby, disassembled and spray painted then reassembled after I applied the paper. I also added those funky feet :-). It contains some simple note cards, envelopes, stamps and such. I have hoarded this paper since I puchased it but used all those scraps I couldn’t bear to part with on the envelopes.

Thanks for sharing this fantastic gift idea. Perfect for that someone you want to get something for but don’t know what. Can’t wait to see more projects.
I (and I’m certain all of us) are grateful that you take time to ‘re-charge’ yourself. You offer so much for us to take in and enjoy and I appreciate your gifts.
OK…you are the greatest…this is the cutest gift idea. Love the papers and the wooden box was a great idea. I’ve made some smaller ones with metal tins but this is so darling.
Hope you have a fabulous Thanksgiving!
This is amazing. The idea and the colors chosen make for a beautiful gift idea. Does your mind keep working in your sleep? LOL!!! TFS!! Becca. It’s always a pleasure.
Fabulous!! Becca I’ll bet you could take 3 cans of Campbell’s soup and turn it into a gift that looks like it came from Neiman Marcus – LOL Thanks for another wonderful idea
Wonderful project. TFS
Oh Becca ~ Your ideas are fabulous!!! You really must have my mind read, because only yesterday I was shopping at Hobby Lobby and trying to figure out what I could put the Christmas Cards I am making for friends at work that would be nicer than just a plain box…and then, before that the calendars…I was looking at Michael’s on Friday and because of you I founds some calendars for $1 and I bought some. Just wanted to let you know that your inspiration spreads far and wide and LOL…I AM watching :)
So charming and beautiful Becca!! Love that way that brain of yours works!! And the added feet to your little box….genius!!
