One if my 2016 goals is to use supplies I haven’t yet used.
I am inspired to give more of what I have been blessed with – my time and in my talents, as my gracious Father in Heaven leads me. Seeing many of my dear friends go through the loss of loved ones through illness and reading of the the need of those whom I do not personally know in our darkening world, reminds me of how much we need each other, even if that affirmation is only a smile. I hope to find ways that I can increase my giving this year, to benefit those without what they need, and one of those ways will be blessing them with beauty, with a card – something to bring some love and ‘sunshine’ to help light their way. I feel like that is what you do for me, Bekka – thank you so much for that beautiful blessing you share with us here so regularly! I pray that your inspiration will grow this new year!

I cannot tell you my goal for 2016 because I have never in my life have made a resolution for a new year. I don’t like to place unnecessary anxiety on my very stressful life! However I strive each day to be kinder,loving and compassionate towards others,at the end of the day if I was, hooray, but if I could not accomplish I say like Scarlett O’Hara in Gone With The Wind… Tomorrow is going to be another day!

The one goal that i have is a sad one really but i would love to be able to walk a wee bit better or further if i can on my sticks as i really miss walking, running, and all the other sports that i used to do because of how i am now, but if i can’t then it doesn’t matter as i can still walk, even if it is slowly and not far which is more than an awful lot of poor souls so i am grateful for that blessing.

I have several goals for 2016 – 2 seem to be conflicting but first I need to achieve my qualification in Level 3 Access to Higher Education – Healthcare pathway so that I can apply for uni next Sept.
I have postponed my application for uni this time because my mum is ill and needs a lot of health and housing issues sorting out so I want to focus on her rather than the Uni application process. I want to do a good job on each not a poor job on both, but my mums needs have to come first.
I will be /am a mature student amd can’t afford to put off my dream too long but one year won’t hurt and uni will always be there – my Mum won’t, so that’s that.

Paula, I was so touched by your goals for 2016. Wonderful to want to go to university, and I know you will make the most of this opportunity. What really touched my heart was that you are putting your Mum first. I think this is so wonderful, you will never regret that you placed your Mom on a higher priority, never! You are a wonderful daughter!!! When my own Dad was very ill, life stopped and I am so grateful that we made my Dad’s needs our top priority–I look back on those times with gratitude.

By the way, I lived in the UK for 10 months in 1986-7 while attending the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester–I was blessed to win a scholarship and took a year off from working on doctoral studies to go to the UK. What a fantastic year, I loved it in England and was so sad to leave! I hope to be able to visit again sometime… :)

I love it when people go out of their way to be kind to me. My husband is great example of this. I need to be more like him. So this is my goal for this year. I would love to become for Christ-like. Becca, you are a wonderful example of this also.
