Hi there blog friends, good Monday morning to you. As usual today begins with the newest Mojo Sketch, Mojo Monday 191. Can I just say — I love this sketch — by all accounts it.is.a.classic!! I encourage you that if you don’t have a jumping off point, sit down and do a sketch. It will spawn other ideas and is an excellent way to jump start your creativity.
Because I had less than an hour to spend, I reached for familiar stuff for my card. I’m using Girls Paperie, a punch, seam binding and some pearls. That pretty much takes care of it. I hope you are in for a spectacular week – mine will be busy but you know I love it that way :-)
SUPPLIES I USED |
Stamps: Serendipity Stamps Paper: The Girls Paperie, Strathmore Ink: Versafine Onyx Black Accessories: Martha Stewart Punch, Zva Creative Pearls, Seam Binding |
Take care friends!! See you tomorrow!
OH how wonderful, love the saying, Love the card. The colors are sooo spring, which I think everybody is lacking these days.
Thanks for sharing a wonderful card on a dreary MONDAY>…
GORGEOUS Becky!!~
Love it and so very different for you. Love the apple punch – which one is it?
Gray and rainy here, so this is a pleasant lift, but then ALL your cards are!
What a lovely pick-me-up to a bleak, cold, rainy day in South Eastern Quebec. Love the sentiment and how you’ve presented it. Cheery colours to offset the weather. It doesn’t get any better that this. Thanks for brightening my day.
What a great way to use paper scraps – and I love the verse!
How lovely! I agree this card is most welcomed as it is a gray, wet and cold day in the PNW as well. LOVE those Girls Paperie papers, you use them so well! Fantastic sentiment!
Blessings Bernie
This is beautiful, Becca. I really like your color choices and the pearl flourish is perfect. Thanks to you, I now love pearl flourishes! :)
Sooooooo pretty, Becca! Love the verse, your dp’s and that gorgeous pearl flourish! Wonderful!
Oh Becca, I love the saying. The rest of the card is so soft and beautiful. Just like a calico garden.
This is so pretty Becca! Love how you paper pieced the leaf, such a lovely sentiment.
Very, very pretty!
SOOO PRETTY Becca!!!!!!!!!! SIGH! I ALSO like the sentiment!!! I’m HAPPY we have a God that is ALL KNOWING!!!!!!!!!!! Knowing THAT gives me peace!!!!!!!!!! :)
That is so true. Love the saying Becca, and as always your card is so pretty
Very cute! Thanks for sharing your blessings!
Such an awesome card from you again dear. I love the way, you´ve made the toplayer into an apple to fit the saying, and that swirl of beads is just gorgeous and just make it compleetely of. It´s wonderful work, and I can only agree with you about using sketches, if you´ve got a bit sticked. I also does that now and then, and it can often make you create something, you didn´t even thought you could. This one is just wonderful.
I love this card, Becca! And the verse is one of my absolute favorites! Thanks for sharing – Take care and have a blessed week! Hugs, Magi
Your card is very pretty Becca. It almost looks like a patchwork quilt. Pretty colors chosen for the background. I love the sentiment. As always Becca, TFS!!! :-D
Hey Becca, you make simple look so dramatic! TFS
Hugs, Jessica
Very refreshing. I love the variety of papers, the apple punch and the lacey look from the MS punch! The pearls add a touch of elegance. Beautiful…
Another beautiful card, Becca. I have a question/comment: When you apply the pearl embellishments it doesn’t seem to matter that they have to span the unsupported space between the separated layers. I presume they’re on an acetate backing that supports them, but the underside would have adhesive on it, wouldn’t it? What keeps them somewhat suspended? I should think any pressure would ruin the appearance. I know your gorgeous creations are hand delivered or boxed for mailing but how do you protect them prior to delivery?
Wonderful sentiment
This is just delightful!
Very cute card. And a great sentiment!!!
BECCA THIS IS A NICE CARD BUT IT DOESN’T LOOK LKE THE CARDS
YOU USUALLY MAKE. GUESS I AM USED TO THE OLD ELEGANT
LOOKING CARDS., I REALIZE YOU ARE TRYING SO SHOW US SOME
THING BUT STILL LIKE THE OLD CARDS.
CYNTHIA
Becca, I finally found the little round box that you used to make the loom for bows – now I can’t locate your directions! Can you point me to where they are located? I got the very last box Michaels had, and I had to really search to find it.
Beautiful card! How do you glue down your scrunched ribbon? I use sticky strip and the ribbon tends to come off
I love your card! The colors are perfect and the sentiment is right on.
Great sentiment … great card, Becca.
Very pretty card! I’m still amazed at that magical perfect border punching technique of yours. It really works!
HI that was a border punch product wasn’t it? I tried one and a larger border works better or at least is probably easier but I will keep trying. I used it for a bookmark and it did turn out nice. I also really like the Versafine Ink. It is so clear.
Becca, do you EVER have an off day? The beauty that you create day after day is awesome! Love this card, awesome punch, and a favorite sentiment of mine. What is that punch called?
An hour for such a stunning card Becca! WOW! It would take me at least a week!! Lol!
Love Sheila xx
Beautiful!!!!
Love the saying also but really like the different patterns used
Exceptional, Becca!!
Lovely words, very pretty card!

This card is beautiful. Becca, what is the name of the Martha Stewart punch that you used on this card. I really like this punch design. You always do such beautiful layering. I am always inspired by your designs.
Everything about this card really works. I am always amazed at what you put together. I love the sentiment….it is so sweet and so true.
Becca, I try to look every day to see your beautiful works of art. You are an encouragement and an inspiration to your followers. It’s a special blessing to also know you are a Christian and make that a basis for many of your cards. Thank you. Sara
i’ve been skimming the coupon blogs lately, you know, a penny saved… any way i still luv your style- the colors are so beautiful and the sentiments refreshing!
How cool is that apple saying. Is that a die cut or punch you used?
Hi Becca : )
Your cards are delightful and I enjoy checking out your projects, especially the ones using $1.00 items from Michael’s.
Thanks so much for sharing. God bless you.

Lovely card! Did you hand cut the apple? Fussy cutting makes me nervous! I was wondering if you could give the diameter of your flower loom, I could not find the little wooden box at Michael’s and I thought I would just use a round piece of wood around the same size. Thank you for all you do. God Bless.
What a cute stamp and I love how it fits in the apple! Very clever! This looks like a fun sketch to try.
