As You Dream

Howdy, howdy!  Thanks for all the well wishes.  My knee is feeling better, not quite there but almost.  In the interim I sat in the studio this morning to make a card.  It started out being simple and took on a life of it’s own.  That’s the beauty of creating, right?  For this one I picked an excellent, inspiring sentiment from Quietfire Design called As You Dream.   I thought the sentiment was so pretty it could be used for a bride to congratulate on a pending marriage or even as a congrats afterward.  With different decor it could go to the lucky couple and with yet different decor it could go to the graduate.

I stayed with two colors white and one sheet of double sided card stock from American Crafts.   My focal medallion begins with Spellbinders™ Labels Thirteen onto which I’ve layered Spellbinders™ Big Scalloped Ovals LG and Spellbinders™ Classic Ovals SM.  I love the companion pieces that come with all the Spellbinders Pendants and on the upper side of the oval I used one of the companion pieces from Spellbinders™ In  Spades Pendant.  Along the bottom of the card I pieced together several of the companion pieces from Spellbinders™ Renaissance Hearts Pendant to make the border through which I threaded my ribbon.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Quietfire Design – As You Dream
Paper:   Neenah Solar Crest, American Crafts
Ink:  Colorbox Chalk Ink – Pastel Pink
Accessories:  Spellbinders™ In Spades Pendant, Spellbinders™ Renaissance Hearts Pendant, Spellbinders™ Classic Ovals SM, Spellbinders™ Big Scalloped Rectangles SM, Spellbinders™ Big Scalloped Ovals LG, Spellbinders™ Labels Eleven, pearls, ribbon

Don’t forget you can still sign up for blog candy by leaving a comment on THIS post.  You all are the sweetest ever!!  Thanks so much for peeking in.
