Baked with Love, Baked JustRite

Hi Peeps, took a break from baking today to make this sweet little recipe caddy.  I’ve had these little clip boards for quite some time so I decided to paint it up, create the background and laminate to the clipboard so that I can actually use it :-)    I used JustRite Homemade Treats Borders and Center to decorate my clipboard.

After constructing the background I stamped my Baked with Love sentiment and cut it using Spellbinders™ Standard Circles Small #3.  I outlined that layer with a circle cut from Spellbinders™ Pinking Circles LG #2.  After stamping the Just For You border from the JustRite set, I cut/embossed using Spellbinders™ Classic Scalloped Circles LG #3.  Because this project could not take any dimension I simpled glued everything down to my background then laminated over it.  The clipboards came from the $1 bin at A. C. Moores and I love them because you simply unscrew the clipping mechanism which let me get my background down without having to piece around it!  So, while I was at it, I made a couple of recipe cards with the left over scraps and a bookmark for my recipe book from the paper ensemble I used.

Here’s the backside of my clipboard and bookmark.  I love that the clipboard is designed to stand up.  If you ever buy one that is not designed to stand, all you’ll need to do is drill a hole and insert a small piece of dowel. :-)

Project Recipe:
Stamps:  Justrite Homemade Treats Borders and Centers
Paper:  Paper Studio – I Love Baking Scrapbooking Kit
Ink:  Colobox Cranberry Pigment Ink,  Versafine Vintage Sepia
Accessories:  Spellbinders™ Standard Circles Small, Spellbinders™ Pinking Circles LG, Spellbinders™ Classic Scalloped Circles LG, Martha Stewart Eyelet Border Punch, EK Success Scalloped Scalloped Border Punch, Ribbon, Pearls, Laminate (Xyron), Clipboard, white spray paint

Thanks so much for stopping by!

This is precious, Becca. Do you happen to have a simple template for your apron bookmark? No AC’s around here, so will have to hope we have something close. I definitely want to make some of these as gifts. Perfect for new bride, housewarming, or even to give with our cookbooks for our fundraiser. Love it…ReplyCancel
