Have you ever used the phrase Beautiful Inside and Out to describe a sweet friend? Sure you have! You know them, that’s one of our good friends that has that special glow – she (or he) is so gracious and she’s magically kind without even trying. It’s not often that I have the energy reserve to tackle the inside of a card, but I was thinking about it recently and thought if I’m truly sending a card to someone like I described, why not do more to make the card beautiful on the inside and out? When I sat down to the task I immediately knew the stamp set I wanted to use – JustRite Romantic Wild Roses with a touch of vintage flavor using Spellbinders Decorative Applause 3D Embossing Folder. It was truly an easy task to accomplish using JustRite Romantic Wild Roses Offset SVG’s otherwise, I’d still be sitting in front of the TV fussy cutting :-)
The embossing folder was colored by smearing Antique Linen Distress Ink before embossing then repeating the same steps using Tea Dyed Distress Ink (and a little mist of water) An aperture is cut using Spellbinders Labels 42 and then embellished using Spellbinders Labels 42 Decorative Elements. I used the same dies in a similar arrangement as the outside including the cut flowers. The outside text is done with JustRite Extended Family Large Fancy Sentiments and enough options that I used the same text to fill the inside. I offset the area by bordering with Spellbinders Classic Scallops. There’s just enough open room on the bottom to leave a sweet note for that special friend :-) How about you, do you decorate the insides or are you ready to move on after making a smashing card on the outside?

Morning Becca. Just love this card. Very springtime.Your saying certainly fits this card. Hugs from the U.K. Jan.xx
Very lovely card.
Really lovely. I don’t do the insides very often. My cards are normally naked inside!! Its a time thing I think.
Hi there love the embossing and the colours are lovely .
Just right !!!! Inside and out thanks for sharing x
oh becca, just a cute little funny I thought you might appreciate. I opened your e-mail with a card sentiment inside and out and the very next e-mail I opened used the same language. it was empowering women inside and out. I just got tickled and wanted to share with you. have a great day.
Truly lovely inside and out, the embossing is just beautiful with those flowers. I almost always just write on the inside, I usually make A2 cards and by the time I say everything I want to there isn’t room for decorating.
Hi Becca,
Beautiful card and a lovely idea! Note to self – pay more attention to the inside of the card! Thank you.
Love Myra xxx
What a stunning card. It is truly a work of art. If I got one like it, it would sit on my desk all year. I do occasionally decorate the inside of the card. I like the look, just don’t always take the time to do it.
Becca
Just an absolutely lovely card. Pretty easy too. Love your “beautiful inside and out” which describes you to a tee! I love the fussy cutting and do this quite often. As a matter of fact, last night one girl brought some tags which she had printed out for us. I sat and fussy cut all 8 of them. The rest cut the tag part off!! LOL Hope you have a great Earth Day!

Hello Becca
I have some stamps that I use for inside messages.
.Phill Martin from Creative Expressions design them !
I don’t always use stamps as a personal message is needed instead for friends and family!
I love todays card Becca

Hi Becca,
Your card is beautiful, just beautiful, it’s a work of art and a thing to treasure.
Personally, I think a card is not a card without a nice insert and a decorated envelope or box.

Morning Becca
Your card is gorgeous, as usual! Love the embossing folder you used! I think the beautiful inside and out is a must. When I make a card the inside must be done too! Thank you for sharing your creative ideas!

Such beautiful cards… tks for sharing.
Beautiful card, Becca! Inside and out! What a wonderful way to make someone feel very special.
I don’t always decorate the insides of my cards, but sometimes like yourself, I just feel the need to embellish. Your cards are so amazing. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent with us.
Hi Becca, Another beautiful card. Perfect for a perfect friend.
Sometime if I have nice paper leftover, I will decorate the inside of the card.
Other times, I wear myself out coming up with the card that I don’t do anything to the inside.
I like this vintage card that is so refreshing and stunning with its colored embossing and cut-out flowers, and aperture. Beautiful!!
Beautiful card Becca. Really love this one.
I really , really like this Becca, it would be so wonderful to receive this card , one to treasure,
XxxRuth
Hi Becca, A very pretty card, lovely stamping and gorgeous inside and out.
I always put a decorated insert inside my cards, it finishes it off beautifully.
I have this stamp set, it is really pretty.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Hi Becca. I really like this stamp set. I don’t have it yet, but I hope to find it at the Great Lakes Mega Scrapbook Convention I will be going to in May. Your card today is beautiful and I really like that you finished the inside this time.I always have to finish the inside of my cards because usually when I make a card, it’s to be used right away. (: One of these days I hope to get a stash of cards made so I don’t have to always rush!!
God Bless
Bonnie
The card is beautiful inside and out – just like its creator!

Hi Becca, such a lovely card, very pretty, just sums you up :) x
It is beautiful inside and out! Lovely card, Becca!!
This card is lovely. TFS another technique to create beauty.
Hi Becca. Such a pretty card, I love the colour and design. I must admit I rarely decorate the inside of my cards but maybe I will try and do it with my next one and see what it looks like. Take care. xx
Becca, your card is beatiful. It will make a great Mother’s Day card. I always love your creations and wait with anticipation for your next idea.
Becca, I have a problem. I was absolutely in love one of your cards and I noticed in the list of what I would need to make a similar card that you use Neenah Classic Crest Natural White 80 lb smooth. Well, I found it online and ordered it. It came today and is just paper weight. Bummer. Is there something else I need to know? Could you take a picture of the end of a ream of paper/cardstock. Or is there a number that identifies it on your order form. I hope they’ll take it back.
Sorry to be a pest. Thank you in advance for helping me.
LOVE this embossing folder…. and you used it so Beautifully too!!! I’m with everyone else on how Lovely your card is, inside and out!!!
Yes I always do the inside of my cards…. the ones that I give localy I just love the looks on there face after they owww, Ahhhh over the outside then they open it and see the inside too. It makes them feel special I think. So I know the ones I send are viewed the same way.
Beautiful! Love the layered inking.
