Hi there friends. I’m back from my travels and want to thank you for your prayers. I was beyond anxious because as we moved my son, I towed his car seven hours to his new home town to keep the mileage off of an aging car. The Auto Transport trailer I used was probably about twenty feet long and was way beyond my comfort zone, but feel like I conquered it and am so thankful to have returned home safely. It was such a blessing to be with members of my family because we are so spread out but it’s also good to be home. Well, true to habit for the past many weeks, I’m kicking off my week by doing the Mojo Monday 187 Sketch. I was tickled to see the layout because it’s very similar to a style that I do a lot and a fab way for me to jump back into my crafting week!
Don’t forget, I have blog candy going on what I would not want you to miss. You can scroll down to my post on April 16th or click HERE to leave your comment. In the meantime, I hope that you are in command on Tax Day!!

Beautiful card, Becca. I love the flower.

I’m glad you’re home safe and sound. I don’t know if I could tow anything! Good for you…I’m sure your son appreciates the help. I’m sorry he’s moved so far away. I know what it’s like to have them living far away.
I love this card! I wonder if you’ve done a video on this bow. I’ll go look now. TFS, Hugs, Jessica
A beautiful card and I am glad the trip went well.
Glad that you made it home again with no problems. My youngest son lives in CA and we live in NH so I know how it feels to have them far away – I don’t like it at all!!! My other three boys live closer and I see them often! Your cards are beautiful and I love seeing something new! Thanks for sharing!!!
So glad you made it home safely Becca – and can add a new “talent” to your long list – car hauler!!! Eek! The card is exquisite – love the colors and the “punch” the flower makes. Thanks for sharing!
Lovely card, Becca!! The ribbon flower is simply great, you’re truly our “ribbon guru”! ;-) Hope there will be a video on how to make that flower – most crafters are visual learners, you know!
Hugs, Vittoria
Nice to hear you made it back safe and sound! Beautiful card!
Blessings

Your card is fabulous! I love he ribbbon flower, just gorgeous!

Good to be home, safe and sound. I love your card. I really, truly think this is the best one yet (for the thousandth time). You’ve outdone yourself. The ribbon treatment is a knock-out. Gosh, you’re good, Ribbon Queen.
What a beautiful card! Congrats on conquering the car hauler, you are much braver than I ever would be. Heck, I can’t even parallel park unless there are no cars on the block.
glad you conquered the road! do i feel a tutorial coming on about the bow…or at least an explation. i THINK i know how it’s done, so i will just have to try on my own. thank you always for sharing your work.
Beautiful. I wish I still had my Mother so I could send her this card. Neva
Beautiful card Becca!
Beautiful card and I also like that ribbon flower and I bet you used your very own homemade bow maker in making it.
I feel a Becca bit tutorial coming on. :}
Colleen
You truly are amazing, just like the name of your blog! Glad you are home safely, and although it was stressful towing the car, you always have such a good attitude toward things. I so look forward to your blog every day, not to mention how beautiful your card is!!!! The ribbon flower is striking, and the big rhinestone in the middle adds just the right amount of bling. Thanks for not only sharing your talent and creativity with us, but also your positive spirit and life lessons as well. -Stacy
Prayers answered for your safe journey. Welcome back. I too love the ribbon flower, very elegant!
Glad you made it home safely. The card, as usual, is beautiful!
Hi, Forgot that today was that day. Thanks for reminding me, I think. Too funny. Love the card. The colors and all the detail. You always do such neat work. Love to you.
Beautiful card. Glad that you got there and got home all in one piece.
Wow, Becca, this card is absolutely stunning! Your ribbon flower is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing, you are such an inspiration xx
PS. Well done for getting through the weekend – I worry when my kids stay over at their friends’ houses!! and well done for driving a huge trailor – impressive :)
This is one amazing card Becca. The colors are so special and just everything goes together so so well. Your talent amazes me. Keep sharing with us please. Your designs are a highlight in my life. Hugs.
Glad all went well and you are safe back at home. Love the card….is there a tutorial you have done in the past for the bow???
Lovely as always!
Jackie
What a gorgeous card …So beautiful!
This is gorgeous as always Becca!! Your creations are so inspiring!! I have to tell you that a couple of months ago I bought a Tonic paper cutter. It took a little getting used to and I was still having problems cutting straight. I happen to come across your post about using the triangle ruler to line your paper up. I remembered I had several in my craft room. I pulled one out and have been using it and it’s been the biggest life saver!! I can get perfect cuts now and even perfect narrow strips. Thank you for always sharing your tips and advice!! Hugs, Rosemary :)
Hi Becca! So glad you got home safely!!! I was thinking of you and praying fort your safety! There is something liberating about conquering something we used to be afraid of though, so I’m glad you felt that!
Love your take on the mojo sketch!
hugs,
Grace
Another beautiful creation. I love that flower. Did you make it?
Glad you are home safe and sound. It is a good feeling when we accomplish something never tried. Your card today is very lovely.
So thankful that you made it home safely. Still praying for peace for you Becca. Your card is simply striking!! You amaze me!
Road Warrior Becca! It’s good to be home, yes?
This is such an understated and sophisticated card. I love it.
Love this! Is the flower the same as the bow you did recently with your tutorials? It looks like it would work without too much poof if you added a button on top.
Oh my goodness! I just received an order I placed for some new paper, and I’m scratching my head because what you’ve used today is in my new pack! If you’ve never ordered from franticstamper, please make it a point to do so. I placed an order on Friday afternoon and received same this morning – 2181 miles away!!!!!! Is that impressive or what? And a huge gorgeous selection!
Becca,
True to form this is a lovely card. I marvel especially at your bow making abilities and new ideas all the time.
Glad you got the old transport and yourself home safely.
Your son is being watched by the one
who cares for all. He is in good hands.
Jackie
Love your card. The flower is wonderful. You always have great cards to share. Thanks. I’m thankful you had a safe trip even though you were out of your comfort zone traveling.
WOW—- this card is soooo beautiful! Love the flower on it ….sooo sweet!
Wow another stunning card. I love that flower. I’ve followed your tutorial made a few. I’ve received some wonderful comments, they do add so much to a card.
OMG you are a brave and skilled woman to tow such a long trailer so far. I love to go for long drives and enjoyed driving our RV before DH got sick but I couldn’t nor would I even try towing anything, that takes skill and nerves of steel. So glad you had some time with family and you are now safely home.
Blessings Bernie
I just got this paper and I’m doing a mini album with it. Love your card. I remember when we took our sons to college. The always “secure” son cried in the parking lot and I cried all the way home. Our youngest, who was more of a momma’s boy. As soon as we got his room set up, he politely told us we didn’t have to stay. (And you think your know your kids so well.) You will get through this, I promise, with God’s help and our prayers. Hang in there, Cindy(an empty nester)
So glad you had travel mercies; God is so good.
Absolutely beautiful card; now the question — are you going to do a tutorial on the ribbon flower — it is beautiful.
Thanks, Kathy
So glad you got home safely.. This is one lovely ribbon flower…you do the most creative things.
Good to hear you are home safe and sound. Well done for conquering the towing. It’s amazing what we can achieve with God on our side. Love Anne x
As always your card is just beautiful!!! Happy Easter!!!
Oh my another stunning creation here Becca. I just love all these special bows, you´re always making. They look so wonderful. And this one is really amazing, but the entire card is pretty amazing hun.
What a gorgeous card!
You’re a brave woman, Becca Feeken! Glad all went well for the move. And…I love the gorgeous card, too!
Love that floral box on your card – way cool!! You are a brave woman to trailer a car like you did, what a mother will do for her child. Hugs.
So glad you had a safe trip!! The would be waaaaay out of my comfort zone!!! I love the ribbon flower!!!
Hi Becca: It is so tough when your kids move far away. It won’t take long though before you adjust to this change and chances are there will be lots of visits. Good for you hauling that huge trailer!! Remembering you with a little prayer. Take care, Jean.
Glad you are back home safe and sound. Wonderful card as alway! You have such a creative mind and I love the ribbon flower <3
I remember driving across the US in a motorhome pulling my car. Yes, it a challenge but we ‘moms’ can do aything when we set our minds to it.
Of course, I love this card…I LOVE all your cards. You are a wonder. Hope your son settles in quickly.
A gutsy woman is what I say! How brave of you, don’t think I could have done it. I hope he settles well.
What a gorgeous card, the ribbon flower is way cool. Will you be doing a tutorial Becca.

Thank you for the beautiful card. I’ll be making it (or trying to!) for my Mom for Mother’s Day. God Bless.
Becca, this a beautiful card for Mother’s Day. The flower is stunning.
This is beautiful. Your bows are always amazing. Such an inspiration to me.
Hi Becca –
So glad you are home safe and sound. We did the same thing when my son moved from NY to Arizona. The car was too old to put that much mileage on it. I love this card, so pretty and that bow is beautiful.

The Ribbon Goddess has struck again! What a beautiful ribbon flower. Thankful that your travels went well.
Catching up on your posts as I too was gone. Had to comment here in hopes you would see it about your son moving far away. I only have two daughters. On top of that, I am an only child so I have no siblings and come from a very small family, so basically my daughters, hubby, parents and 2 grandson’s are my only family. God helped me with my two main goals for raising our daughters; be Christ centered women and be independent women. Little did I know that raising independent young ladies would mean they would live far, far from home. One lives clear across the country and the other one (that has our two grandsons) lives an 8 hour drive away. I feel blessed that I live in this day and age of high tech because I can talk to my daughters everyday through cheap rates on cell phones and we “see” and talk to our grandsons every Sunday on Skype. I support our daughters in their life travels because they are happily married and should put their life first ahead of mom. We always told them that their spouse should come first in their life before children because when your children are gone you are left with each other. When my girls left home for college I was still in love with my husband and we had a solid marriage. Many couples I know got divorced when their last child left their home because they focused too much on their kids. I know your husband is gone now so it is extra hard on you to let your son test his independence. You are a wonderful loving mom. He will continue to love and care about his mom. I will continue to be praying for you Becca as you adjust to yet another change in your life and home. God will never move out though!
Well now you’ve done that, you can do anything, Becca! What mothers do for their children! So glad you’re home safe and sound. Saying a prayer for you :o)
What a beautiful card too, Becca!
Hugs

Becca, wanted to ask; did you use a flower loom in making your ribbon flower for your card? It sure is pretty
Colleen
Gorgeous Card……….You are my inspiration!
I, too, was away visiting family – one child in Mn., one in Oregon and one in Tennessee. I’m in Pa. God takes us out of our comfort zone for our own good. He expands our challenges and causes us to rely on Him because we could never do it on our own. Also, a widow I’m doing things I never dreaned I would or could do. Rom. 8:28 tells us ALL things work together for good for those of us who love God and are called.
Hi Becca, I am new to your site and just love your work. You are such an inspiration. Thank you for sharing so much with us.
Becca, I get your being out of your comfort zone! I had to drive the longest Ryder truck available with a transport trailer attached when I moved my three children and myself from San Antonio, Texas back home to Winston-Salem, NC. I was so very proud of myself when all was done and we were settled into our new home. Thank you, as always, for sharing your amazing talent with us. Your card is simply gorgeous!
It’s a true saying…..”you don’t know what you can do till you try” so well done you! you have passed with flying colours! and I’m sure your son will always be there for you too.
