Hi there blog friends! Need a new frugal embellishment for your cards? Since you asked, today I’m showing you how to make that bunting I used yesterday and the flag pick is made in less than 60 seconds. Join me?
Although we’re just in time for the coming patriotic holidays, the pick I made can be translated into any holiday, occasion or sport a sentiment. The bunting is easy, but once you see what I’m using, I just know you’ll be searching through your stash for something you already have on hand. I’ve taken the liberty of speeding up some of the parts of the video so that you’re not simply watching me fidget but I really wished my fingers moved so fast, LOL!
Take care friends, be on the look out for something from me later!!
What a great idea. I have taped fabric to card stock and run it through an embossing folder, but had not thought to do it with ribbon and score it. I like the way you think! Keep up the good work.
Great Idea and tut….also are you working on a tut for the bird cage pop up card? I have my bird cage and now I am anxious to find out how to put it all together. Thanks, Barb
Becca –

Wow, Becca. I could hardly believe my eyes when I “tuned” in to your patriotic creation yesterday! I’ve been on the hunt for a good patriotic card idea for years! I’ve just never come up with one I’ve liked. But I LOVE this one. And today when I saw the tutorial, I nearly fell over! I’ve had those ribbons for YEARS!!!! Everytime I clean my ribbon stash out, I toss them, but before they make it to the give away or throw away destination, I pull them back out, always knowing that someday I’ll figure out something to do with them! THANK YOU!!!! I adore your creativity!
Thanks Becca, That is a great idea. I thought I could used the idea for other kinds of cards.

WOUW this is funny, I actually published a simular tutorial for my friends on my blog a couple of days ago, just made as a rosette, so I guess, I have learned to use your way of thinking a lot too ha ha ha ha.
