Hi there blog friends!! I’m in the middle of making a gift for a friend and I found the perfect sentiment – it’s written in girl code!! First of all, suppress your instinct to giggle when I show it. Who else can you give this to but a sweet girlfriend, lol? I guarantee you — girls.get.this!! Give this to a dude??? Check your watch – within 30 seconds he’ll be asking if he stinks.
Oh my goodness, this is a fabulous sentiment from Quietfire Design and when Suzanne revealed it to the Design Team, we bantered back and forth how true it was. Of course the shower is my ultimate comfort diversion because it’s peaceful, I can think and relax. When I’m upset – you’ll find me in the shower . . . hungry – there I am in the shower . . . anxious – I’m in the shower . . . mad – shower, here I come . . . happy – woohoo, in the shower!! The sentiment is called There Must Be Quite A Few Things and how true it is!!
I created a small medallion using Spellbinders Labels Fourteen, Parisian Accents and Labels Twenty. For the cross panel on my card I used Classic Scalloped Border Petites and Big Scalloped Border Petites. This scrumptious paper is so fun and shabby feeling – I thought it would work out perfectly for a girl card – it’s called Flea Market by Colorbok and I think I’ll need to get another pad – it’s chock full of my favorite colors.
I paired it up with some bath/shower accessories for my friend. In fact I have a couple of other small gifts I need to make so I think I’ll stick with the bath theme!

Becca, thank you for the great tips. I need more practice with my peg bowmaker. Maybe I just need to set it in front of the computer while I watch your video. You make it look so easy.
Another amazing card and inspiring Becca Bit. I have used fabric strips as ribbon on gifts but never thought to use it on my cards.
Blessings Bernie
Oh Becca, this is another wonderful video on your tips for making anything crafty! I love how you did the fabric bow and need to get one or have hubby make one! You make everything look so easy! Thank you for always sharing!
Hugs, Cami
I believe you achieved your PHD at the University of Arts & Crafts and were too humble to tell us. I You have such fabulous and unique ideas, the ability to make them come to life and the knack of teaching the rest of us who follow you in awe. This is brilliant and opens the door for so many new ribbons. Wow. Thanks so much.
Hi Becca
Thanks so much for another great video tutorial. I’ve decided that every home should have a Becca ;o)

Got the peg maker made, and LOVE the idea of using fabric. I am/was a sewer, so got tons of it. Been trying to think of ways to use with card making since I seldom use it for sewing anymore. LOVELY card, and I really like the colors. Very feminine, but also spring-timey. Thanks for the video, as always.
What a cool idea! I can get out some strips of fabric I bought to do a crocheted rug years ago. I never did the rug, but I still have the pre-cut jellyrolls of fabric! Thanks! I am getting hard of hearing, and even though I have the volume turned up to the maximum on my computer, I have difficulty hearing your sweet soft voice on the videos. I don’t know if anyone else has this problem or not.
When you visit blogs every day, on occasion you will find a card that isn’t to your liking.
NEVER happen here. Every day, every card is awesome. How do you do it?
Hi Becca, I love the idea of using fabric for bows!!! Great idea and I can see where you could get so many different finishes!!! Thanks for another awesome Becca Bit !!!
Just lucious Becca! I’ve been thinking that I might go to a fabric store the next time I have some scrap dollars to spend. And that was my idea, to get some bits and pieces of fabric for ribbon. And I want some felt too. I found a few bits of felt that my mom had in her sewing stash. and I’ve made a couple of flowers out of some that I loved. I have so many things on my wish list! lol
Thanks for sharing!
Hugs, Jesica
I absolutely LOVE your Becca Bits. I always come away with more knowledge than I started. But this one I have to say is absolutely brilliant! I have stacks and stacks of fabric (yes, I’m a hoarder). Yet, the idea for using it as ribbon just never occurred to me. So THANK YOU for opening my eyes to the possibilities. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. Blessings to you.

Well I can see where the fabric store and I are going to become best friends. I am looking for some inexpensive wider ribbon and this will do the trick just fine. I am also going to stop at HomeDepot and the gentleman there is going to drill holes into my piece of wood for my Bow Peg. Life is good because of you and your “Becca Bits”!!!!!! YOU SHINE!!!!!! Kathleen

Becca,
I am a very beginner at all this and just started to stamp, I can truly say that you are the most talented designer I have the privelige to follow. Most of all you have the most generous spirit. I know you have been through alot in your personal life but you never stopped your spirit of caring and giving. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for that.
May you always continue to Blessed.

Love the idea of using fabric, I have tons of fabric.
I have a deep soaking tub that I spend way to much time in so this sentiment was right up my alley.

OH My Becca, This is just stunning. If I could have just 1/1000 of your ability I’d stop eating butter. I know that sounds stupid, but it’s my one consession to quality, and it would go by the wayside for just a small portion of your God given talents. Can’t wait until tomorrow.
This is just a fabulous card with the perfect girlfriend sentiment! Also, I love the soft colors and your great little fabric bow! You come up with some really great ideas!
