Hiya friends! Slowly but surely getting back into the groove but working diligently behind the scenes to make samples of all my new dies for CHA. That’s keeping me hopping for the moment but I’m here :-) Please do check here to see if you’ve won a card from me —> Giveaway PageEven if it was back a month or so, you can still claim it. Oh, there’s even a winner for the Swirling Grace samples I made – go see!!
Today is Day of Giving Friday where this card is sent to someone who has left a comment today. I have an oldie but goodie to share and as I mentioned before many of these supplies are older dies you have in your stash or available on amazon.com if retired. If you are new to my blog, you can read the inspiration behind Day of Giving Friday on my FAQ List at #11 – just click the link.
I’m singing my heart out today, totally immersed in the joy of Christmas Carols – what a magical part of the holiday season and working on several Christmas cards yet, in between things.
For your comment today, what’s your favorite Christmas song. That’s an easy one!!
Thanks for indulging me while things are on auto pilot. I always have grand expectations of what I can accomplish at the end of the year and always forget that CHA (the Craft and Hobby Association Convention) seems to take over. Please hang in there with me – you are a treasured community and I’ve grown to so love you all.
Another gorgeous card here again Becca. And I don´t agree that todays question is easy, cause there´s soo many wonderful christmas songs that I love, so it´s almost impossible to pick just one. I love all the traditional ones, and there´s also more different old songs I really love, and one of them is Last Christmas with Whamp, and also Cliff Richards Misteltoe and wine is very high on my list of christmas songs every year. But all in all I just LOVE to listen to wonderful christmas songs all throughout December every year.
I hope you have a wonderful month here too with loads of wonderful christmas songs on the radio too.ReplyCancel

My favorite song is White Christmas sung by Bing Crosby among others by him. Very nice card. Had ordered your Tiered multi loop Bows and company said they won’t be available till 2016. :(ReplyCancel

I don’t have to think about it — “Silent Night.” It was my mother’s favorite song and she often sang it in German as she puttered around in the kitchen. She’s been gone for 46 years, but I still miss her so — especially around Christmas! Merry Christmas, Becca! Thanks for so generously sharing your creativity with us!ReplyCancel

Hard to believe someone would not have claimed their winning card.
I keep my fingers crossed until I see the notice that I’m not a winner – then I think positive for the next Friday drawing.
this card is beautiful. It has a vintage look to it that is so pretty. The kraft and black together is great.

This card is stunning, Becca! I adore grungy, vintage but colorful designs, and this one is perfect! Plus, I have both dies in my stash. Now to find some paper to fit this design. Just love that you are so willing to share with us. ??
And I am sooooo excited to see what you will be revealing at CHA! Squeal! ?
Now, favorite Christmas song, hmmmmmmmm, there are so many! Silent Night, White Christmas & O Holy Night are classics that I love, but also a new favorite, Mary Did You Know. Such beautiful words to this song that tell a great story.

So glad you are going around singing in the true spirit of Christmas. Wish I had a singing voice. My favorite Christmas carol is “O Holy Night”. Awesome card today. My first impression when seeing this card, makes me think it would be a great Halloween card. The way you backed the top layer onto black card, makes the cutouts look like flying bats. Atleast to me it does. I guess I lived too long in Texas watching the bats come out at dusk from under the Congress Avenue Bridge! Take care sweet Becca!ReplyCancel
Connie PowellDecember 11, 2015 - 10:46 am
My song would be Mary did you know. I don’t know if that’s the actual title but it sure is a beautiful song to listen too. As far as your card goes it’s Beautiful as always! Love it.ReplyCancel

Impossible to choose one favourite!
I love the old ones I grew up with plus the new and all in between. It’s all about the songs that make my heart rejoice.
The last couple of years I’ve been favouring a group called Pentatonix. They have a Christmas album called “That’s Christmas to me”. With the exception of one song, I love the whole album.
I’ve watched them sing on YouTube and was thrilled to discover there are no instruments – with their voices, they do all the background sounds and percussions. Wow. Love harmonizing!!
So Merry Christmas to all :))ReplyCancel

Hi Becca,Since I’m an oldie, nothing wrong going back to the oldies especially if they still work. Your card does–sophisticated, gender neutral, and over all lovely. Thanks for reaching into the archives for dies and stamps. I have most of them and appreciate being reminded of why I bought them in the first place. Favorite Christmas song, that’s a tough one to narrow down but probably “O Holy Night” because it was my dad’s favorite. It brings back wonderful memories of family times. I guess I didn’t appreciate what my parents provided during those years until I had children of my own. At least I got to tell them before they passed how wonderful they were. BarbaraReplyCancel

Sandy ArtmanDecember 11, 2015 - 2:59 pm
Hi, Becca,
I just love the card. There’s something about using black and brown tones I find so appealing.
My favorite song is “Christmas is Here Again” – written and recorded by a fabulous baritone, Roger Whitaker. I heard it on his album years and years ago and I usual perform it once a year to introduce others to it. A great song about family love that says; “All that I want is to have you beside me. All that I need is right here in my hands. All that want is to know that you love me and this will be my finest Christmas time”.
So pretty. Glad to hear that your heart and voice are in the singing spirit. There are so many beautiful Christmas songs.ReplyCancel

Nice combination of tan and black going on there! Pretty card. Favorite Christmas song…probably Joy to the World…or Silent Night…oh wait, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, so maybe a three-way tie?
Then there’s Sweet Little Jesus Boy…and a host of other bluesy, jazzy hymns. Oh heck, it’s probably whatever I’m listening to and singing along with at the time!
Watch yourself while you are on auto-pilot…those things have a tendency to crash at the most in-opportune times, my friend…don’t overdo!

Hi, Becca! Your cards are beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
My favorite Christmas song is “The Christmas Song” (i.e., Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire).
Glad to hear that you’re enjoying the holiday season.
Hello Becca! I love the vintage look of this beautiful card and was suddenly hit by the thought that it must be difficult at times to let go of these beautiful creations. I don’t know how you do it. They are all so unique and beautifully crafted. Sharing them with strangers but be challenging. When I gift a card, I know it is going to someone I love or a good cause if it’s a donation. You gift them to your followers without expecting anything in return and you bless us as a result. What a wonderful spirit you have!
My favorite Christmas song would probably be O’ Holy Night. It’s such a peaceful song.
Hi Becca, My favourite is ‘Mary’s Boy Child’

Welcome to the first day of the Spellbinders Paper Art CHA Roundup Day #1. As a Licensed Designer for Spellbinders, work goes on all year to create and fine tune the die designs being released at the upcoming Winter 2016 Craft and Hobby Association Trade Show! Today I’m indulging you in a Sneak Peek and Giveaway! That’s right! You will have the chance see dies before anyone else and you have a chance to win the new die templates I have used by entering the Spellbinders Contest at the Spellbinders Contest Link at the bottom of this post. So come on over and take a peek!
I’m tickled to introduce you to one of my new dies. With you in mind, I’ve created an elegant classic die, with strong lines reminiscent of the trendy calligraphy that is taking the country by storm. Simplicity makes it a shoe in for multiple uses; it’s sure to adorn your card foregrounds and backgrounds, be the hero of your table setting, and twinkle as the special extra something on your boxes and notecards. Introducing . . .
S6-077 Spellbinders Swirling Grace by Amazing Paper Grace
You’ll see that I used some of my favorite previously released Amazing Paper Grace Dies
You know how much I love to create ensembles! A matching card, box and tag show that you’ve put so much thought into your gift giving and thrill the receiver. I’ve created a romantic suite perfect for a wedding, anniversary, Valentines Day or engagement announcement or to say I love you.
The card uses the large swirl and outside border. I’ve stamped onto a rectangle and tucked it under the free floating curl in each corner. The card is embellished with a bow, a cascade of pearls, Cinch and Go Flowers as well as the leaves from Stack and Fan Flowers. The card measures 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″.

Greetings friends! If you’ve been reading here lately, you know that my Mom came to stay for several weeks. I’m working my heart out on CHA projects – a big hint about this at the end of my post!! In the interim, mom and I have been chatting the days away while I work. What a breath of fresh air to have someone to talk to and I’m sure after I take her to the airport today, she’ll be thankful for a moment of silence. So that’s where I’ve been hiding! I wouldn’t have missed a moment of listening to her. I’ve taught her to Skype and the ins and outs of group texting.
Today is Day of Giving Friday! It’s an opportunity to send out a card to one of you who are so gracious to stop by and visit. By leaving a comment, one of my readers worldwide will win the card. If you are new to my blog and and want more details on Day of Giving Friday, check it out on my FAQ List at #11. My card today is an older card and some of the supplies are not available but certainly I hope you can use this for inspiration.
For your comment today, who is the last loved one you’ve hugged and what was the occasion?
Hint, hint, hint – CHA is right around the corner. I’ve been working for the last six months on new dies for next year. (Yes I’m still floating out ideas for the dies that were just released). On Monday, December 7th I’ll be sneak peeking a new die you haven’t seen before. Think “day of giving” and be sure to stop by on Monday to have a peek. You know no sneak peek is complete without prizes!!
If you’ve left an email for me, I’m way behind. No worries, I’ll get to them but it may take me some time to wade through. I’ve also posted Day of Giving Winner from last week and am a little behind in responding to folks who have won. Lol, there’s always a pile up at the end of the year – kindly asking your patience and sending you all hugs!
Hi Becca,
What a lovely card and all the nice lace.I don’t have any love ones near by ,only my husband and it does not have to be special to hug him.
Bet you will miss having your Mom around.

What an amazingly gorgeous card Becca, that lace is just so beautiful.
The last loved one I hugged was my dear husband as he left for work this morning, I’ve been doing this for 42 years. I hug him when he leaves, when he comes home and in between, LOL!!
I also hugged my youngest daughter Adriana, who lives next door, this morning when she came over to pick up a card I made for a friend of hers who is retiring.
The other loved one I hugged was a sweeter than sweet friend who came from Mexico to stay at our home for 4 days, it was amazing to have her with us, we haven’t seen her in almost 5 years, we love her so much.
Thank you for this question Becca, we should hug our loved ones every single day!!ReplyCancel
Mary EstherDecember 4, 2015 - 2:26 pm
Thank you for the chance to win your gorgeous card!
Other than my husband, the last loved ones I hugged were my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. It had been a year since we had to been together. Saying “See you later…” is so difficult because it could be a long time until we are together again. I am so thankful for the days we had together and even for the tears when we hugged as we said goodbye. The love we share spans the distance between us (IN and FL!)ReplyCancel

Not ten minutes ago, I left my sweet daughter who lives in a DD group home following a couple of doctor’s appointments for her. She is 18 and has been unable to live safely at home for nearly four years. It has been heartbreaking to have to parent her from afar, and we love her so much. She is making small improvements and we celebrate each tiny step. She is a wonderful person, and it is a joy to have seen her today, and the hugs today were a gift. I would definitely send this card to her!
Blessings Becca…and bye, Mom…have a safe journey to your next stop, and a blessed Christmas season.ReplyCancel

Beautiful, Becca–your talent, kindness, and the card. You delivered your mom out of a terrible time, losing Ben. You managed to carry her along as you did your daily routine and work responsibilities–easing her back into life’s flow. The card uses old ‘friends’ but you come up with a new, fresh look with off-white on off-white. Maybe it’s your bow, maybe your placement, maybe using circles with diagonal pieces of lace. What ever it is it works. It is not easy to do, talent shows so I let you do the designing and I am happy duplicating after the fact. Can’t wait for you to use your new dies–Cascading Grace and multiple pockets. Even without your guide cards I can do something special with them. Looking forward to Monday, though. Thanks, Barbara
Since I can’t recall a recent hug, it means I have to give some to those around me I care about–initiate and not wait to reciprocate.ReplyCancel
Sandy ArtmanDecember 4, 2015 - 3:56 pm
Hi, Becca,
Doesn’t just thinking about hugs make you smile? Having memories of Thanksgiving with my family fresh in my mind, they were certainly considered in response to your question. However, I’m in a choral community and one of our members is a victim of violent crime. Many of us held her, this week, in healing hugs hoping they can undo some of the damage caused by her horrific experience. Hugs are great, wordless, communicators of love and they benefit the giver as much as the receiver. Now that’s something to smile about!
Beautiful, beautiful card, Becca. In the wake of your loss of your brother and the void left by your mom’s absence, I am so delighted to hear that you have exciting news to anticipate and share.
Last night some friends and family came over for Stampin’ Night.
I hugged most of them as they were leaving. It’s getting close to the holidays and I might not see them before then, the two granddaughters fixed a chair that had a wobbly leg (thanks hug) and another hugges every time she leaves.
Enjoy all of the hugs. Glad your mom got to visit. I know it will be sorry seeing her go home. take care.ReplyCancel

The last person that I hugged was my wonderful husband and the reason was “just because”. I love him so much and am so fortunate to still have him in my life as so many of my friends’ husbands have passed on. I cherish every day with him. Good evening Becca,
What a beautiful card Becca and it being all tone on tone makes it so gorgeous and probably my favourite style of card. I love how you have added the different textures into it with the aid of the stunning lace and they ribbon making the bow along with the pearls. Gorgeous Becca, simply gorgeous.
My 16year old son how is autistic gives me a hug every day and quite a few times during it along with a kiss and tells me just how much he loves me and I am so very, very lucky to have this special person in my life and to be his mum as he is the kindest most loving child that you could ever wish to meet. He is a charming, intelligent, manner able young man and I am so very proud of him.
I bet that the incredible lady that you took to the airport today Becca sat there more than willingly listening to her pride and joy talking away, watching her work and just bringing back memories of times gone past. You would do each other the power of good with all that your mum and her beloved family have been through this past few months so I don’t think that she would be thinking any time about wanting peace and quiet to come back into her life. You have given her the tools to be able to visit and open her world from her chair so that she doesn’t miss any of her family or friends.
Sending hugs and love across the miles to you

I hope your mom has a safe onward journey. What a blessing that you have been able to share some quality time with her. And now, you’ll be able to Skype and see each other whilst you chat!
What a spectacular card, Becca! So lovely.
I’m a bit of a hugger since I read that for some lonely people, sharing the Peace in the Communion service, is the only time that they touch another person! That was a real eye opener for me and as I run a group where a number of the members are widows who live alone and away from family, we instituted hugs! A while ago, one lady said, ‘I’m queueing up for my hug’!
A friend and her husband have just visited, so that was 2 more hugs today! And i always sign off in this way….
Hugs

I do so miss my Mom especially around the holidays but I am blessed with several adopted “Moms” at our church and appreciate the time spent with them. My last hug, my friend after her preschool class that I volunteer at 3x a week as a retired preschool teacher. Just love all of your creations and hearing about your Mom.ReplyCancel

A beautiful card design today. Lots of love showing on this one. Glad you had a wonderful time with your Mom. You deserve this special time. For today’s question: who was the last loved one you’ve hugged and what was the occasion? My newest and most treasured friend and I shared time and lunch together this week. We missed our time together last week. Each of us drove separately and met at a designated restaurant. As usual, we hugged each other before lunch and again when it was time to say goodbye. I am so blessed to have a wonderful and caring friend as she.ReplyCancel

Becca, aside from my sweet hubby, the last loved person I hugged was my daughter when we were at her house in October (looking forward to hugging her again for Christmas too…our best present). Please do give your Sweet Mom a big hug, and I’m so glad that she got to come stay for a while with you. I know that it did you both a world of good, to spend some quality time. Now that she knows how to Skype & text, you won’t feel so far apart, hopefully. It’s very hard to do those goodbyes, no matter how much you keep in touch. And the card today is just stunning, and how fortunate will be the reader who is blessed to receive it. Happy wkend. Blessings & hugsReplyCancel

I love this card – an elegant and gracious feeling to it. I’ll be attempting to make one similar to take on my next visit to my bf who is now in a care facility. I know she would love looking at it. The very last loved one I hugged was my doggy pal, Charly. She my lovable companion doggy daughter. I can count on her to be here when I’m happy, sad or unhappy and she really listens to everything I have to say. Cute, eh? My second loving hug went to my husbands who does love me but only listens to half of what I say. Still cute tho.ReplyCancel

Such a beautiful card!!! Today I received a surprise hug from a lady in my water aerobics class. She knew I have been feeling depressed because I planned a Christmas luncheon for the group and then a few scrooges complained enough that the games were canceled as was the gift exchange. I almost didn’t go to the luncheon. But because of her hug, I went and enjoyed myself. The ladies all loved the snowflake coasters I made for them.ReplyCancel

Love the elegance of this card. The last person I hugged was my best friend and the occasion was because we had just had coffee together and I was leaving to go home. I hug all my kids and my friends as we part ways. After my husband’s sudden death and no opportunity to give that last goodbye hug, it seems especially important these days to do so. Thanks for your inspiring blog, Becca, and Christmas blessings to you and yours as well!ReplyCancel

I needed a smile today and your card did the trick!!!!! Gorgeous card Becca, and I hope you will share your CHA projects with those of us who can not attend CHA.
It does my heart good to hear you talk about all the special moments you and your Mom shared during her visit. My Mom lives with us, but suffers from dementia/Alzheimer. We are at the point of no return. I do not even recognize this person that has taken over, but wish I had my old Mom back. I so miss being able to spend quality time with her, but I am afraid those days are long gone. It is hard to watch this disease take over, and even harder to live with. Listening to you talk about your Mom makes me remember how it use to be with myself and my Mom. Good memories to hang on to. Thanks.
Hugs,

It’s winter here in Minnesota. They days are so short that we go to work and come home in the dark. It makes it very hard to keep your spirits up. We need a reason to smile. Your card today is totally on the mark. Thanksgiving, I was especially grateful to hug so many in the extended family. I think the last person out the door was my daughter-in-law, who is wonderful. She truly makes me smile. God Bless, Becca. This must have been a difficult Thanksgiving for your family. It’s good to hug your family near to hug.ReplyCancel

My mom is the last person I hugged, last night as I am visiting her. She lives 4 hours away and is going thru some health issues. It was so nice to hug her in person, though we “hug” on the phone all the time. I love giving hugs to family and friends, and some strangers too lol.
To me hugs represent Love and Caring. It gives you an instant sense of well-being and that someone cares for you, and almost always gives a Smile to both giver and receiver.
Sending hugs to all. xxReplyCancel

Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, i’m still a kid at heart. love todays card and looking forward to seeing all of the new stuff from cha.
Oh that is easy – without a doubt – White Christmas by Bing Crosby! Lovely card! :)
I hope you have a wonderful month here too with loads of wonderful christmas songs on the radio too.
i love your card!! its sooo pretty! we are learning a couple songs to sing this Sunday for our program that i really like. one is Baby Boy by King and Country and Peace has come by Hillsong. also i really like Silent Night.
My favorite song is White Christmas sung by Bing Crosby among others by him. Very nice card. Had ordered your Tiered multi loop Bows and company said they won’t be available till 2016. :(
I don’t have to think about it — “Silent Night.” It was my mother’s favorite song and she often sang it in German as she puttered around in the kitchen. She’s been gone for 46 years, but I still miss her so — especially around Christmas! Merry Christmas, Becca! Thanks for so generously sharing your creativity with us!
Hard to believe someone would not have claimed their winning card.
I keep my fingers crossed until I see the notice that I’m not a winner – then I think positive for the next Friday drawing.
this card is beautiful. It has a vintage look to it that is so pretty. The kraft and black together is great.
thanks for sharing.
GORGEOUS card Becca!!!! Would love to have it on my mantel!!!
My favorite Christmas song is ‘O Holy Night’, not just to hear it, but to sing it and hold it in my heart…..a beautiful song!
Paper Hugs, Blessed and Happy Holidays,

This card is stunning, Becca! I adore grungy, vintage but colorful designs, and this one is perfect! Plus, I have both dies in my stash. Now to find some paper to fit this design. Just love that you are so willing to share with us. ??
And I am sooooo excited to see what you will be revealing at CHA! Squeal! ?
Now, favorite Christmas song, hmmmmmmmm, there are so many! Silent Night, White Christmas & O Holy Night are classics that I love, but also a new favorite, Mary Did You Know. Such beautiful words to this song that tell a great story.
Merry Christmas, Becca!
What a beautiful card! Thanks for chance to win. My favorite is Jingle Bells and Jingle Bell Rock.
Silent Night . . . Reason for the season, always makes me feel at peace. Your card is beautiful. Good for either guys or gals! Take care of yourself, Becca, during this hectic time of year. God Bless.
Take care sweet Becca!
My song would be Mary did you know. I don’t know if that’s the actual title but it sure is a beautiful song to listen too. As far as your card goes it’s Beautiful as always! Love it.
Jingle Bells… Becca you have the most beautiful, elegant cards of any that I’ve seen on the web. I love your creativity and i get so much inspiration from your works. I do struggle with trying to create bows similar to yours. I would love to see a tutorial on how to make your bows. Keep up the wonderful works and spirit of sharing.
I forgot to say how much I absolutely love this card. Stunning like all your cards.
O Holy Night. I sang that in a church program many years ago and it has always been my favorite.
Thank you for another chance to win one of your gorgeous creations!
It is so difficult to choose just one Christmas song as my favorite! ONE of my favorites is O HOLY NIGHT.
Have a blessed Christmas and New Year, Becca! Thank you for being such an inspiration!
The Holly and the Ivy. Love your cards!
What a rich-looking card! My favorite Christmas song is “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas”…it’s always been a cheerful song for me!
Carol of the Bells by TSO.
This is such a gorgeous card, Becca; love the antiqueness of it. Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday!
Oops, forgot to answer the question – My favorite Christmas song is Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree. Thanks.
I love all the songs mentioned on this blog by these lovely ladies but a few of the new ones about our Christ sends me to the moon in praise! Love this gorgeous card Becca!
Hi Becca, my favorite Christmas song is O’ Holy Night. I hope I win this beautiful card. Thanks for being so generous. Gwendolyn Giles
So Merry Christmas to all :))
Love the card, it is so beautiful. My favorite Christmas carol would have to be White Christmas by Bing Crosby, brings back such wonderful memories every time I hear it!
“Silent Night” is without doubt my favourite Christmas carol! But as a Christmas song I also love “Silver Bells” – I’m such a cheat choosing two!! Another super card today Becca; the colours are so striking. Hugs Christine xx
Beautiful Card. Difficult to choose a favorite Christmas song but “Oh Holy Night” probably tops the list. Wishing You and Yours a Joyous holiday season.
What a lovely card and would sure love to win it. I would say that my favorite song is White Christmas with Bing Crosby as well as the movie White Christmas which I watch EVERY year.
Wishing you and yours a Very Merry Christmas!
“Joy to the World” is my favorite and “Roasting Chestnuts by the Open Fire” is my husband’s favorite. It is hard to choose because each one has a different meaning or feeling associated with the song. Beautiful card and totally different colors. I do like it. Have a very happy day.
This is beautiful and very inspiring. I love the verse on this one.
Marcie
I forgot to add my favorite Christmas song – Paul McCartney’s Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Song. It is always my go to music when I need some Christmas mood music to get me into the Christmas spirit.
Marcie
My favorite classic is White Christmas :) and All I Want For Christmas Is You.. By Mariah Carey. Beautiful card, elegant as always :))
Jingle Bells? LOL We don’t celebrate Christmas, so don’t listen to them, so I’d have to go with jingle bells, cause it’s not really a Christmas song…but is heard that time of year only usually.
This card is stunning!! My favorite Christmas song is “Mary did you know?”… love it!
Love the card. I’m sorry the one has retired and impossible to find. Your question today is very hard to answer. I could never pick just one Christmas song as my favorite.
Oh my gosh you never cease to amaze me I love this card! Certainly will inspire me to try something similar thanks for sharing and God bless.
I finally found the comment area……………..
I love the colors you used for this card today.
I used the same colors for my Christmas cards this year.
my favorite carol is O Little Town of Bethlehem!
MERRY CHRISTMAS to YOU!
Difficult to choose just one! I do love ding dong merrily on high and deck the halls. I think ding dong just wins! Today anyway….
My favorite song is “Silent Night”
Love the card Becca. I like those 2 colors together.
.
Becca your card is gorgeous!!! I would still like to know what stamps you used regardless of whether or not they are retired. I would like to see if I have the stamp in my collection.
My favorite Christmas song would be Two Steppin’ Around the Christmas Tree
Thanks Becca
Merry Christmas
My favorite Christmas song is Oh Holy Night.
Thank you, Sweet Becca, for your generous spirit and kind nature. Yours is the first blog I ever started to follow. You always touch my heart in so many ways. I am so honored to call you friend. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
This is such a beautiful card Becca. Just stunning as always.
My favourite Christmas Carol is Oh Holy Night, of course any and ALL of the old Christmas Carols are beautiful. I love them playing all day & night this time of year. It just makes me HAPPY and at peace! Merry Christmas to you and your family.
My favorite Christmas song is “Mary Do You Know”. Especially the one here:

I love Dean Martin’s version of Marshmallow World. I would put it on the record player and my 2 daughters and I would start our holiday baking. Fond memories.
Thank you for your creative inspiration, my favorite Christmas song is Oh Holy Night.
Becca what a lovely card. I would have to say White Christmas by Bing Crosby.Hope you are getting all your Christmas chores done.I am trying to do some Christmas baking.
My absolute, all time favorite Christmas song is “O Holy Night”. After all of these years of singing and listening to it, it never fails to bring a rush of emotion which usually results in my breaking out a hanky or a kleenex.
Good afternoon Becca,
My favorite Christmas song is “Oh Holy Night” sung by Celine Dion, second fav is “Silent Night” Both tell the true Christmas story. Just received two of your new dies and had a lot of fun “cutting” them yesterday. TRying to get my cards finished-just a few “special” cards for son, grandson, grandaughter, sister, neice and nephew. Love your card of today, so rich with the kraft paper and black. Thank you lovely lady for another chance to win one of your masterpieces.
Hugs,
Mstgane

It would have to be O’Holy Night. Thanks for reminding me to turn up the volume a song my heart out too. Merry Christmas!
Beautiful card to inspire me Becca,
Silent Night is my favorite.
God bless .

The card is beautiful! What a tough question…hard to choose a favorite because all the Christmas carols are inspiring. Silent Night has always been special.
Very important sentiment.
Can’t pick a favorite Christmas song. I miss them all year and enjoy each and every one during the season! Glad your spirits are up again!!
What a beautiful card!! My favorite Christmas carol is O Holy Night.
A lovely card Becca. Would be almost OK for a male! Silent Night would be my pick but there are so many Carols for the reason of the season!
Barbara
You think this is an easy one but I like so many Christmas songs it’s hard to pick one. My favourite to LISTEN to is Oh Come, O Come Emmanuel (love it from “The piano guys” since my daughter plays the cello).
Chris
Beautiful card Becca! I am still making Christmas Cards also, seems that life goes by so quickly and everything catches up to you at once. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration, I just love all your cards and now I am falling in love with your wonderful dies.
I love Jingle Bells !
Becca lovely card, Glad you busy making beautiful cards. My favourite Christmas song is A Little Drummer Boy.
Hugs Trish.
Love the card, Becca! I just pinned it earlier today. :)
It is difficult to pick a favorite but I would have to pick Silent Night. It is such a beautiful song.
Enjoy the rest of your day and singing!
Hugs
I love Christmas music so it is hard to choose a favorite I guess it would be silver bells.
Love the colors on this card. Quite the opposite of what we normally see, but love it. Favorite Christmas song??? I love them all but especially like Little Drummer Boy and one by Celtic Woman called Holly, I think. I love Celtic Woman and Celtic Thunder.
What a beautiful card! I would’ve never thought to use black on a card like this–so pretty!! I have a lot of Christmas carol favorites, but for today, I’ll choose Mary Did You Know as my favorite!
My favorite to listen to while decorating the house is “We need a little Christmas” or “Deck the Halls”. My favorite for caroling is “Angels We Have Heard on High” or “Silent Night” or “Hark the Herold Angels Sing” or ” O Little Town of Bethlehem “. My favorite to sing in the car would be “Dashing Through the Snow” or “Let it Snow” or “Frosty the Snowmen”; by the fire, “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas” or “Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire” or “Do You Hear What I Hear?” or “Drummer Boy”; in worship, “Silent Night”, ” Mary Did You Know?”, “Oh Holy Night”, ” Avé Maria”, “The First Noel”, “Hallelujah Chorus”… Oh, did you mean just one favorite?
Hi, Becca,
I just love the card.
Love and blessings, dear one,
Sandy
So pretty. Glad to hear that your heart and voice are in the singing spirit. There are so many beautiful Christmas songs.
My favorite Christmas song has to be White Christmas. Thanks for Day of Giving Friday. Happy Holidays.
Love your card Becca. My favourite Christmas song is ‘ Why can’t every day be like Christmas?’ By Elvis Presley. If only the sentiment of this song could be with us in every day life the world would be a much better place. Love and hugs x
My special favourite is Silent Night especially after all the preparations are completed on Christmas Eve.
Hello Becca,
You’ve given us a stunning card today, thank you.
My favourite Christmas Carol is “The First Noel” and my favourite Christmas Song is “White Christmas”.
love Maureen xx
Lovely card Becca. It’s not so easy to choose just one christmas song; there are so many that I enjoy. I guess that I would pick “Mary, Did You Know”. It certainly makes me think about the reason for the season.
My favorite Christmas Carol is Oh, Holy Night, but one of my favorite Christmas songs that is not a Carol is Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer. It is just a really fun song.
What a lovely card, Becca! I agree wholeheartedly with the sentiment!! My favorite Christmas carol is JOY TO THE WORLD, THE LORD IS COME!!! If you listen to the words, they really tell the true story!!! Hugs and have a beautiful CHRISTMAS!!!!
Oh Becca your card is striking – love the colours you have used!
My favourite carol is O Holy Night – and has been for some years.
Blessings
Maxine

Oh, so many beautiful carols to choose from, just like your lovely cards. I’d say Away in a Manger, Silent Night and White Christmas. Oldies for an oldie, I guess! Thanks for all your beautiful cards.
Lovely card! My fav is…not sure it’s the right name of the song, it’s by Elvis and he sings why can’t everyday be like Christmas…..so true
Blessings, we’ve grown to love you, too!
Joni
My favorite is “O Holy Night” Sooo beautiful!
Thank you,
Carole Lovill
What a lovely card to win !!!! Can only hope lol
Once in royal David’s City I sang this in the church choir solo when I was 12 years old .
It was in the lovely old stone church in the village where I lived as a child xxx
Silent Night
My favorite Christmas song is “Cherry Tree Carol” by Emmylou Harris oh yes also “Beautiful Star of Bethlehem by the Judds! It is just too hard to pick just one!
Love all the beautiful Christmas carols but Silent Night has to be my all time favorite. Beautiful card again today!
Oh, so many and yet not heard as frequently as I wish.
I would have to say O Holy Night and Joy to the World.
Gorgeous card! Mine is Silent Night.
It Came Upon A Midnight Clear. So beautiful and reminds us of who Christmas is about.
Hi Becca
My favorite Christmas song is O Holy Night…
Merry Christmas
O Holy Night. I love this card and with the grace of God it will be mine.
Your Sister in Christ:
Christine
Such a beautiful card Becca. My favorite Christmas song is Oh Holy Night, and a close second is I’ll Be Home for Christmas.
Such a beautiful card Becca!
I have two favorites… Oh Holy Night, and I’ll Be Home for Christmas sung by Elvis.
You mentioned that your card was an oldie but goodie and my favorite song is an oldie but goodie as well – Silent Night. I am looking forward to viewing your CHA samples.
Yes…that is an easy one…Lo, How a Rose ‘Ere Blooming…
Hi Becca,
Late again lol! Gorgeous, gorgeous card, very unusual but love it. My favourite Christmas Carol is, well I have two!! Silent Night and O’ Holy Night. These have been favourites for a long time, my sister used to sing Silent Night to me in German, which I still love to hear today.
May I wish you and your family a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR. You have had a very bad year, like we have, I do hope next year brings you moy Joyful and Peaceful times.

beautiful card Becca, thanks once again for sharing. My favourite Christmas song is Mary’s Boy Child but I love them all and enjoy having a Christmas CD playing each day right now.
The new one If you don’t see Merry Christmas in the window is running thru’ my head today!
Oh Holy Night
I just love to hear the Christmas carols and songs. I have so many favourites. It used to be ‘In the bleak mid winter’ but now ‘O Holy Night’ brings me to tears! Can’t wait to see more of you swirling grace.
Wow such a lovely card. They are always so pretty!
I love all the carols, Silent Night, White Christmas, but my fave at the moment has to be Mary, did you know? By Pentatonix. The lyrics are so beautiful.
Have a wonderful weekend! x
Lovely card as always! One of my favourite Carols is Hark the herald angels sing: especially this line – “Veiled in flesh the Godhead see; hail the incarnate deity” most certainly the greatest miracle ever that Jesus is our immanuel (GOD with us)!
What a pretty card Becca. I am not very good at making man cards and I think this one is definitely on the list for them. Visiting my auntie as she is not doing well. She is an inspiration to me on her good sense of humor and how to live life. Thank you again Becca for just you.
Oh, that black and tan combo is fabulous! Sorry, no favorite song for this time of year. The Prayer of God’s Servant is a year-round fav of mine.
My favorite Christmas song is Carol of the Bells. It is so beautiful and always makes me feel spiritual. I absolutely love the colors you used in this most classic card. Your work is phenomenal and I am so enjoying being part of the blog post and seeing your amazing work. Keep it up. And Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Blessings, Becca.
Hi Becca, My favourite is ‘Mary’s Boy Child’
I love your card, beautiful sentiment, I think we all need to ‘act’ on that sentiment, sadly we don’t tend to.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Lovely card revisited today, Becca. It inspires me to utilize more black in my card making. Somehow that is not a color I reach for when I’m crafting.
As for my favorite Christmas song, that is an easy one! O Holy Night. “Fall on your knees….” “Behold your King…” such majestic words for the birth of our Savior.
Oh, Becca you’ve done it again. Such a gorgeous card. I love the black and tan colors you chose for your card. The sponging and that big black bow with what appears to me to be a felted flower with the pearls tie the card together. Love, Love, Love it!
The Christmas song that I like is fairly new by Mariah Carey is “All I Want for Christmas is You”! and one of my favorite oldies is Dean Martins “Marshmellow World”!
Favorite Christmas Song: White Christmas with Bing Crosby!
Have a great day!
I see you took the tiny pieces and perfectly balanced them on the front. It is so easy to try to do everything and the hours wane. I need another day in my week. Great card.
What a lovely colour combination! So unusual and so striking.
Current favourite song is ‘Mary, did you know..’ by Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene. If you haven’t heard it, there are several versions on Youtube and it’s worth a listen!
Hugs
Anne (UK) x
Love this card, so very pretty. Your new dies releasing at Spellbinders Cha booth is at the top of my wish list. It’s a “must have”!
