Good morning friends! I thought I’d pop in quickly with a card to share using one of my favorite Quietfire Design sentiments called Every Blade of Grass Has Its Angel. I used watercolors to softly tint the paper and cut using Spellbinders Tudor Rose Decorative Card Front and the little flowers from Spellbinders Tudor Rose Collection. Layered underneath I have a panel cut using Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders Two and used Spellbinders Mini Envelope Two for the pennant edges on the bottom of the card.
Since I wanted a little dimension I popped my sentiment up using Spellbinders Labels One. Lastly, I added a soft blue bow colored with a reinker. Yes, I got a little bit of crafty time and I’m working on a tutorial that I’ll have up in the next day or so!
Okay, back to the craft table while I’m focused! I’ll see you soon!

It’s a glorious morning! I hope recent days have been kind to your soul. Today I have a new card – granted, not an occasion I like to trumpet, but I do like being well prepared. This month JustRite Papercraft introduced a nice Sympathy set (Sympathy Handwritten Sentiments) that I thought was very reserved and could also be used when someone is going through a difficult time. Oh, and a sale going on that I’ll get to in a minute.
For the 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2 card I used Spellbinders Shady Allure and the matching die template that cuts an aperture in the center – Spellbinders Labels Forty Three. I added a belly band using Spellbinders A2 Bracket Borders One. This one I scuffed up a little bit because I wanted to show off the beauty of the embossing. I kept the embellishments to a minimum using a jeweled button and some fabulous cupchain by A Gilded Life, tucking in the top and bottom of the frame.
If you’re sitting with coffee and have some surf time today, pop over to JustRite Papercraft – they are putting quite a few of my stamps sets on clearance. If you’ve been on this fence, get ’em now. The SALE goes until Midnight on May 18!

Good morning sweet friends, I thought I’d share a card that I made earlier this year, but had not shared yet. It’s a baby announcement! No real baby but this is the hope that one day there will be, you see, I’m a grandma wanna be! When I designed Spellbinders Arched Elegance and Spellbinders Arched Elegance Pocket, this was my original intent – to have a little pocket outside or inside the card, for something important. So often when you make an announcement, the text part with the information is the keepsake part you’d normally take out and add into a scrapbook. On the inside I used the Pocket so you could do just that – slip the announcement out to read all the details and for safe keeping. Of course it makes for a themed card by using the remaining Arched Elegance elements on the front of the card. The perfect finish is a little oval tag stamped with “Baby Girl” from the Quietfire Design sentiment set called Welcome Little One.
The card is 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″. For the inside of the card I adhered the pocket then computer generated the text of the announcement on pink cardstock. Once done, I went to my die cut machine to shape the top with the curved die from Arched Elegance. Can you see sending this in a custom card box to the grand parents and making one for the legacy box for the parents? Gush!
Hugs to you all and prayers that you have a wonderful Mothers Day!!

I need to make a sympathy card for a wonderful woman of God that not only talked the talk but walked the walk.
I need to make a card for my niece who’s graduating from college and for my nephew’s son who’s turning one.
