Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Quietfire Design and Spellbinders Tudor Rose Decorative Card Front - www.amazingpapergrace.com
Good morning friends!  I thought I’d pop in quickly with a card to share using one of my favorite Quietfire Design sentiments called Every Blade of Grass Has Its Angel.  I used watercolors to softly tint the paper  and cut using Spellbinders Tudor Rose Decorative Card Front and the little flowers from Spellbinders Tudor Rose Collection.  Layered underneath I have a panel cut using Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders Two and used Spellbinders Mini Envelope Two for the pennant edges on the bottom of the card.

Since I wanted a little dimension I popped my sentiment up using Spellbinders Labels One.  Lastly, I added a soft blue bow colored with a reinker.  Yes, I got a little bit of crafty time and I’m working on a tutorial that I’ll have up in the next day or so!

CRAFT SUPPLIES I USED
Rubber Stamps: Quietfire Design – Every Blade of Grass Has Its Angel
Craft Paper: Strathmore Watercolor Paper
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black and clear embossing powder
AccessoriesSpellbinders Tudor Rose Decorative Card Front, Spellbinders Tudor Rose Collection, Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders Two, Spellbinders Mini Envelope Two, Spellbinders Labels One,  May Arts Silk Ribbon, Sewology Button, watercolor paints, Recollection Pearls

Okay, back to the craft table while I’m focused!  I’ll see you soon!

Sympathy Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using JustRite Sympathy Handwritten Sentiments, Spellbinders Labels Forty Three and Spellbinders Shady Allure - www.amazingpapergrace.com
It’s a glorious morning!  I hope recent days have been kind to your soul.   Today I have a new card – granted, not an occasion I like to trumpet, but I do like being well prepared.   This month JustRite Papercraft introduced a nice Sympathy set (Sympathy Handwritten Sentimentsthat I thought was very reserved and could also be used when someone is going through a difficult time.  Oh, and a sale going on that I’ll get to in a minute.

Sympathy Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using JustRite Sympathy Handwritten Sentiments, Spellbinders Labels Forty Three and Spellbinders Shady Allure - www.amazingpapergrace.com
For the 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2 card I used Spellbinders Shady Allure and the matching die template that cuts an aperture in the center – Spellbinders Labels Forty Three.  I added a belly band using Spellbinders A2 Bracket Borders One.  This one I scuffed up a little bit because I wanted to show off the beauty of the embossing.  I kept the embellishments to a minimum using a jeweled button and some fabulous cupchain by  A Gilded Life, tucking in the top and bottom of the frame.

CRAFT SUPPLIES I USED

If you’re sitting with coffee and have some surf time today, pop over to JustRite Papercraft – they are putting quite a few of my stamps sets on clearance.  If you’ve been on this fence, get ’em now.  The SALE goes until Midnight on May 18!

Baby Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Quietfire Design and Spellbinders Arched Elegance and Arched Elegance Pocket - www.amazingpapergrace.com
Good morning sweet friends, I thought I’d share a card that I made earlier this year, but had not shared yet.  It’s a baby announcement!   No real baby but this is the hope that one day there will be,  you see, I’m a grandma wanna be!  When I designed Spellbinders Arched Elegance and Spellbinders Arched Elegance Pocket, this was my original intent – to have a little pocket outside or inside the card, for something important.  So often when you make an announcement, the text part with the information is the keepsake part you’d normally take out and add into a scrapbook.   On the inside I used the Pocket so you could do just that – slip the announcement out to read all the details and  for safe keeping.  Of course it makes for a themed card by using the remaining Arched Elegance elements on the front of the card.  The perfect finish is a little oval tag stamped with “Baby Girl” from the Quietfire Design sentiment set called Welcome Little One.
Baby Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Quietfire Design and Spellbinders Arched Elegance and Arched Elegance Pocket - www.amazingpapergrace.com
The card is 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″.  For the inside of the card I adhered the pocket then computer generated the text of the announcement on pink cardstock.  Once done,  I went to my die cut machine to shape the top with the curved die from Arched Elegance.  Can you see sending this in a custom card box to the grand parents and making one for the legacy box for the parents?  Gush!

I ALWAYS love your cards and projects, Becca, your taste just makes my heart sing!!! I have on my wish-list to get your new Spellbinders dies, those pocket ones, oh my goodness with the other set, I HAVE to get those, and will someday! I love your stamp sets too and make a point of collecting yours because what you want to say is often what I want to say. We share having a heart that loves our Savior too which makes a difference…

Just wanted to mention a product I thought you might like to check out, and probably you knew about it long before I did… It’s on HSN and is a Today’s Special, it’s Anna Griffin and she has partnered with American Crafts to make a MINC machine that both foils and glitters die-cuts and other stuff, and it can be ordered on Auto-Delivery too to get more product over time. You can make your own lazer sheets that are needed to make this product work using a lazer printer which is wonderful. Just thought that because I see THE MOST gorgeous metal die-cuts on your cards, that you too might love this. And it can also glitter as well as foil too. I can only imagine what you would do with this machine. If I’m bothering you with something you know about already or wouldn’t want, I apologize… But just in case, I wanted you to see this on HSN today. This machine will ONLY be available on HSN forever they say, and today it’s almost $100 off the price, for $69.95 approx, and getting the auto-ship to get more product is a neat way to go. I love Anna Griffin’s old-world style, beautiful embossing folders and patterned cardstock, gorgeous, just as I love your beautiful art!!!

Blessings to you, Becca, you have been such a blessing and an encouragement to me.

    Hi Becca
I just love your creations, and your new dies, totally inspiring, please could you tell me what paper/card stock you use for your flowers, especially the wrinkly ones.

I will be recreating your work of art and applying it to different occasions. I am so lucky because I have the dies. I had to get them as soon as they came out. Thank you for sharing your talent.ReplyCancel
