Thank you card making ideas by Becca Feeken using Quietfire Design Thank you Cuddlers and Spellbinders Garden Blooms, Spellbinders Reflection and Spellbinders Labels 33 - www.amazingpapergrace.com
Hi there sweet friends!  I’ve been out of town for a bit so I have a some catching up to do!  First a card to share – this was the card made with the flowers and custom dyed ribbon from the Scrunched Flower Tutorial.  It languished on my desk with a different colored background and it just didn’t speak to me, so I changed the background colors to brighten the card.  Since they are my home colors, I like much more – oh, how often this happens.  Again, I’m so loving the sentiment it’s a great addition to my stash and is one that will get much play – this’ll be a card I send often.  Penned by my friend Suzanne Cannon with Quietfire Design, she’s given many options to go along with the bold word “Thanks”, you can see all the options for the Thanks Cuddlers Set HERE.

Thank you card making ideas by Becca Feeken using Quietfire Design Thank you Cuddlers and Spellbinders Garden Blooms, Spellbinders Reflection and Spellbinders Labels 33 - www.amazingpapergrace.com
For my 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ card I crafted a cream background using the hinged method described HERE.  I created a matted layer from card stock cut to 4-7/8″ x 6-5/8″ and design paper cut to 4-3/4″ x 6-1/2″.  On top of that I ran a piece of lace and ribbon secured in the back by tape.  I arranged the small, medium and large flowers made with Spellbinders Garden Blooms (by A Gilded Life) into a triangle arrangement and tucked the swirls from Spellbinders Foliage Flourish (cut with green card stock) behind the flowers.  The sentiment is stamped onto a card stock cut with Spellbinders Labels Thirty Three and as an accent behind I’ve used Spellbinders Reflection, cut in half vertically.

    Hi Becca
Your card is beautiful as always
I am like you sometimes I have to walk away and come
back to it before I can finish it
How do you get the Designer paper bigger for the size you need
I ordered some from the Etsy store where you got yours and it comes
on 1 sheet and is little instead of individual sheets that you can size
I am trying to make 1 of your cards and am really frustrated with the Designer paper & it isn’t cheap. I ordered 2 from her.
Please help so I can finish this card
    Thank youReplyCancel

The colors are so soft and delicate not only on the paper but the flowers as well. I love the crunched look! I, too, have had problems with printing up the digital papers as LInda (9) referred to. The ones I looked at and purchased do not size down but come up huge … 81/2 x11. A little frustrating. So I think I must be missing something here. All said I love this card with the lace and all, too. Just beautiful Becca.ReplyCancel

Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using JustRite Papercraft Furry Friends and Pet Sympathy Sentiments - www.amazingpapergrace.com
What’s this stuff about the humans getting all the cards?  Exactly!  I was tickled beyond belief when this month JustRite Papercraft introduced pet centered stamps.  My two main squeezes Bailey (remember Bailey? you can see her HERE) and Kira are gonna be happy girls.  There’s a goodie box on the way to them with their name and a cute little card to boot!!  This project simply made me smile and I know those girls are gonna go crazy when the mailman brings the box.  (Anyone else have a dog that knows there are treats in the bag before you even bring them out?

Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using JustRite Papercraft Furry Friends and Pet Sympathy Sentiments - www.amazingpapergrace.com
For my 5-1/2″ square card I used Spellbinders Graduated Dots for the embossed background.  In addition I wanted a stamped background so I used the paw prints from Pet Sympathy Sentiments.  After spanning the card with grosgrain ribbon and lace I embossed/cut Spellbinders Gold Majesty Circles and threaded in a hand cut strip with a notched end that’s stamped with a sentiment from Furry Friends.  Then the little treat boxes that are actually small milk cartons.  I cut them with a steel rule die (discontinued from Dayco) and clear acetate.  Lace, ribbon, bows and then that adorable little bone from the Furry Friends set finished up the things going off in my care package.

Birthday Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using JustRite Grand Handwritten Sentiments along with Spellbinders Regal Frame and A2 Tranquil Moments - more details at www.amazingpapergrace.com
Well hey, posts two days in a row!  I’m excited today to share new stamp sets from JustRite Papercraft and you’re gonna love the sweet handwriting style of the set we’re using today – it’s called Grand Handwritten Sentiments.  It has some unique sentiments and you know we’re always looking for sentiments that sound like us.  I think ‘How are You’ and ‘Miss You’ are my favs – I send that kind of note all the time but I crumbled and added a  Birthdays Card to the stash because I’m always in need.
Birthday Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using JustRite Grand Handwritten Sentiments along with Spellbinders Regal Frame and A2 Tranquil Moments - more details at www.amazingpapergrace.com
Can I officially say that the purple slate color (at least that’s what I call it)  has found a way into my heart?  I don’t know the manufacturer but it’s a lovely vintage looking shade and worked for the romantic feel I was looking for.  This is a simple layered card with a 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ card base, matting layers of purple slate and cream followed by a digital paper which I enlarged with Photoshop.   Spellbinders Regal Frame adds a gracious and elegant layer that I threaded my bow through.  I stamped my sentiment and  finished off with the filigree piece from Spellbinders A2 Tranquil Moments and a couple of pearls.

Your miniature work of art is so pretty and finished off so wonderfully with THAT bow……gorgeous bow Becca, looks like it came off a high class chocolate box. I am always on the look out for just the right sentiment stamps and these hit it right on the money! They are bigger than normal which I have not found anywhere like these. I wish they would make more of the sentiments larger, such as for Daughter, Husband, Son, Friend and the like. Loved your tutorial too, on the boxes. Made about half dozen or so and am still working out the kinks in the collapsible side one. (I used Cordinations paper that cracked when scored and bent a few times…learning curve). Also much appreciated is the kind of paper you use…it means all the difference in a project. Thanks Becca for all the little tidbits along the way. There is so much more to papercrafting than what meets the eye.ReplyCancel

Your lovely creations are always inspiring and this card does not disappoint. I love the dies you used and the fabulous bows. The new sentiment stamps are something I will have to add to my collection. The size of the sentiments are awesome. Thanks for sharing your creativity.ReplyCancel

Gorgeous card as usual Becca and like everyone else who has posted I LOVE your bows. I have left several comments before asking if you could arrange to sell separately the video you made to go with the bowmaker as I have one already. Also, I live in England so it would cost a fortune in postage to buy the package. PLEASE post a comment in the parking lot!ReplyCancel

Morning Becca, A stunning card, very regal looking and purple is my favourite colour, so a definite ‘yes’ from me haha. I adore these grand sentiments, they are going to top of my ‘Wish List’.
I must watch your CD again to remind myself how you have made this fabulous bow.
Easter is one of my busiest times at Church, and Saturday is brass cleaning, and decorating of the Church, before the blessed Easter Day Service.
Lots of love from Patricia xxReplyCancel
