Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Spellbinders Heirloom Oval and Victorian Tags - www.amazingpapergrace.com
Hey there blog friends!  Since last Sunday I’ve had 20 hours in a car, 10 hours in a mall, many hours eating and more hours than I can count being plain ole happy.  There and back, I’m home again in my cozy home with my familiar things – yep, there’s no place like home……ah, where my craft room is :-)  I finished up a card laying on the table and thought I’d share it.  I picked a cool aqua color and embellished it with Spellbinders Heirloom Oval and Spellbinders 5 x 7 Heirloom Legacy (used the nice full oval).
Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Spellbinders Heirloom Oval and Victorian Tags (close up) - www.amazingpapergrace.com
I picked a tiny sentiment that I use quite often – bless you.   It fits perfectly on Spellbinders Victorian Tags; a nice fit and it doesn’t cover up too much of my background.  Are you being crafty in this heavenly carefree time between holidays?  I’m eager to hear what you’re up to this week, whether kicking back to spend time in front of the TV or catching up on computer or just taking it easy.

CRAFT SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: Wordsworth – Everyday Greetings
Craft Paper
: Neenah Classic Crest – Natural White – Smooth, My Minds Eye
Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black and clear embossing powder
Accessories: Spellbinders Heirloom Oval, Spellbinders 5 x 7 Heirloom Legacy,  Spellbinders Victorian TagsMay Arts Silk Ribbon, button

Don’t forget . . . come by on New Years Eve, if you can.  It’s been a while since I had blog candy and this is a good one :-)  I also have a video (finally) that I’ll be sharing at the end of the week too!!

    Hello Becca
Bristol is white this morning, we had a really deep frost, it makes all the smoke from chimney pots, flow in straight lines to the sky, and the house lights twinkle!
    Like a Christmas card!
I love this card especially the Aqua against the Roses ….beautiful!

Lovely card as always – love that tag, the bow and the button especially – glad you are home safely – sometimes I find you need to go away as it often makes you see your home in a new and better light! I tried making one of your bracelets but I think I wound the wax cord too tight as when I went to curl it about my wrist I broke the rhinestone chain – so will undo it and have another go sometime. This time of year I do a 2015 list of all the cards I need to make, in date order – so that’s to be done any day and then I shall batch make 6 or so female bday cards, as these are required in Jan & Feb. It’s bright, sunny but cold here in the UK at the mo, but I quite like it that way – looking forward to the video.ReplyCancel

gorgeous card. I love seeing your new creations. ypu’re so inspirational. glad you had a wonderful holiday. I spend my time between holidays resting and getting ready for it to begin again. this year i’m trying to figure out where to put some of my new crafty stuff. I really enjoy playing tennis so i’m planning my annual “protest to college football all day on tv” pick up tennis match. I find many like minded ladies and sometimes a gent or two and we play tennis on new years day. sometimes it’s not pretty but we always get a good laugh and have great fellowship. hope you have a wonderful new year.ReplyCancel

Lovely card and ornate die choices. Because we have a big family on both sides there have been parties galore which have left us happy but exhausted. Therefore, we are reading and resting before the fireplace a lot and taking the time to look into God’s Word more to build our spirits. You are such an amazing paper card crafter. I would love to come home after traveling to such a craft room as yours. Alas mine is a hodge podge of different items from different companies, a variety of products and I have to buy every item at usually full price. I am not on a design team, nor get free products from any company. I am slightly computer challenged , 72 years old, and am on a retirement income. But I love making cards, do the best I can with what I have, but my wish list is SOOO long. I would love to win your blog candy and get some new things. Excuuuuuse me while I loosen my belt, holiday leftovers are the absolute best! Good morning friends, I hope you had a fabulous Christmas and are recuperating nicely from fun, friends, family and food.  So as we turn the corner and head into a new year, I’ve saved up some little surprises for you.  To start out, on New Years eve – some awesome blog candy,  so be sure to stop by!  In the meantime, a card to share today using a beautiful sentiment from Quietfire Design :-)  It’s embellished by setting it on a bed of victorian dies using Spellbinders Victoria Accents.  I used two of the motifs back to back and on top stacked on Spellbinders Majestic Circles and Spellbinders Standard Circles SM.

Question Parking Lot:
Vivace on Comment #27 asked if it would be possible for me to reply to comments.  I wanted to let you all know that hopefully with the blog redo I’m planning it will allow me to reply right beside your comment instead of at the end of all the comments – as it is right now people have trouble finding my reply.  I have found that most people don’t double back to read comments after they have left them but I promise once my redo is in place I’ll do better.   In the meantime, please join me on Instagram – I already reply to every comment there because instagram allows me to send the response directly to you!  I also reply to comments on Facebook and Pinterest.   Would love to talk to you all over there in the meantime :-)

Merry Christmas friends!  You all rock my world so I wanted to be sure to pop in and wish you a Merry Christmas.  As I settle down with my family we’re surrounded by blessings and are joyfully reminded of the birth of Jesus Christ.  My wish for you on Christmas Day is that you are blessed by your faith, embraced by your family and supported by your sweet friends.   I take pause to remember that we’re all on different roads and that blessings find us along the way; may your journey bring you the blessings that you need right now.  Have a wonderful holiday with your families and please know so many of the blessings and gifts I have received this year, were bestowed by you all, that give so freely with your kindness. One last Christmas card for the the season :-) it says what I feel in my heart today . . . Merry Christmas!!

Tanya on Comment #53 asked how I made the flower and if it is an embellishment.  It’s a filigree flower I purchased at Hobby Lobby.  I spiffed it up by gluing a rhinestone button in the center :-)
