Christmas Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Waltzingmouse Elf Made and Spellbinders Majesty and Mary Border Strip - www.amazingpapergrace.com
Hi there  blog friends!   Today is Day Three of the new releases for Waltzingmouse Stamps.  The set we’re showcasing today is called  Elf Made.  How about one more Christmas Card?  Red and white had to be the order of the day as I’m using the peppermint candy stamp as the focal point for my card today.  It made me think of a box of candies so I used the vertical and horizontal ribbon just like you would on a tied package :-)

Christmas Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Waltzingmouse Elf Made and Spellbinders Majesty and Mary Border Strip - www.amazingpapergrace.com
I started out with a card base that measures 5-1/2″ x 6-3/4″ and layered on Spellbinders Majesty followed by a 2-1/4″ x 6″ panel and topped with  Spellbinders Mary Border.  The Mary Border is a pattern of three so I added three stamped Peppermint pinwheels cut with Spellbinders Standard Circles Small.  The card is topped off with a satin ribbon and the sentiment is cut from Spellbinders Back to Basics Tags.  Have you noticed how I’m whittling away and my Christmas stack – hehe?  Seriously, if I pull what I’ve made so far this year, I just might be covered :-)

Christmas Card Making ideas by Becca Feeken using Waltzingmouse Jolly Old Elf , Pretty Panels 1 and Pretty Panels 2 - www.amazingpapergrace.com
Hi there  blog friends!  Today is Day Two of the new releases for Waltzingmouse Stamps.  The set we’re showcasing today is called Jolly Old Elf and it’s a hoot!   Elves, and gnomes and santa’s and you can mix them up with different hats and embellishments.  I stamped up a quite a few and then decided to go with the santa/elf in the quilted hat and the cute sentiment that says “Have your ‘elf’ a merry little Christmas.
Christmas Card Making ideas by Becca Feeken using Waltzingmouse Jolly Old Elf , Pretty Panels 1 and Pretty Panels 2 - www.amazingpapergrace.com
I created the vertical panel with Pretty Panels 1 by just half cutting it so that the shape comes out just on the bottom.  Then added Pretty Panels 2 up top with the sentiment.  My elf/santa was cut using a digital cutter and it would also be fairly easy for those who like to fussy cut.  By the way, the previews all lead up to release day which is Tuesday, October 28th – at which time all of the products we’re showing will be available to see in full and purchase on the Waltzingmouse Stamps website.

    Good morning Becca,
what a happy wee elf we are today, so bright and cheery. Your card reminds me of a man’s stripey shirt with buttons down the front and a cumberband around the waist. So the topper on your card showing little Santa elf is his id badge for him to get into the posh function that he is wearing is evening shirt and cumberband for dinner. Lovely Becca, lovely,

    Good evening Becca,
These two cards are beautiful, hard to choose between them but, for me, I think the 2nd one just pips it to the post.
It’s late here in the U.K. (almost midnight) and we’ve been to a ceilidh in aid of cancer research. It was brilliant and some dancers from the show “Riverdance” and “Lord of the Dance” previewed their new show and danced for us. They stayed for the ceilidh and joined in with the ordinary dances. How great is that?
Also, this morning we went to a 100th birthday party for an aunt, who was in great form and very funny, so all in all it’s been a wonderful day for us.
Becca, have a lovely and blessed Sunday, xxReplyCancel
