Good morning blog friends! Today is day four of JustRite Papercrafts October releases. So, I’m back to pink and frilly for this card. I used a new background stamp called Sweet Vines Background along with Sweet Posies for my sentiment. For the background I used Victorian Velvet distress ink and pressed it into slightly damp watercolor paper. The ink diffuses just a little bit for this soft watercolor look.
I paired two of the Spellbinders Mystical Embrace die cuts together and on the top one I scored along the prominent top horizontal line and glued both pieces together. On the insides (both top and bottom) of the card I inserted a cream panel the same size as the prominent rectangle in the template. Then I layered up my stamped background and added a panel cut using Spellbinders A2 Divine Eloquence and Spellbinders Classic Ovals LG at the same time. My sentiment was stamped in the oval frame and I went around the oval with some cotton trim.

Parking Lot Questions:
Good morning blog friends! Today is day three of JustRite Papercrafts October releases. Fall is in the air! Yes, some of us have strolled out quite a few Christmas cards but I’m glad to be able to circle around and say a little hello to a new season. I love the signals of fall, the russet tones of leaves, the cool crisp feel in the air, the cozy call of sweaters and scarves to fend off the chill, snuggling in with hot cocoa and a book. . . sigh! My card today uses a new set called Oak Leaves. I’ve cut it out using JustRite Oak Leaves SVG files, stamped in black and embossed with clear embossing powder then added subtle hints of color with watercolors.
After embellishing with ombre sheer ribbon, burlap trim, lace and a pleated trim I added a little tag with a stamped sentiment using Spellbinders Back to Basics Tags. Oh, and some bling :-)

Parking Lot Questions:
Good morning friends! Today is Day 2 of new October releases for JustRite Papercraft! We challenged ourselves to stretch a little bit and try some techniques with watercolor during this release. I went with a watercolor background and have to admit that I’m really smitten with the watercolor look – it’s so dreamy. It’s something I can see pulling out when I want a quick card. You see this is what happened — I sat down to create one or two backgrounds and came up with about 10. Pure therapy – just sitting down and swirling the colors around was a breath of fresh air for me.
To make the 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ card I mounted the 4-3/4″ x 6-5/8″ stamped and watercolored panel to teal cardstock measuring 5″ x 7″ and then attached both to my card base. I used Spellbinders Flutters to cut the two layered butterflies and covered the bottom layer with teal and blue glitter. I finished it off by adding silky thread, sequins, pearls, and a silk bow.

beautiful card, really elegant and feminine. Thank you for sharing as your work is always so stunning.
What a beautiful card!! It looks so delicate and love the colour pink on it. I am usually not a pink fan but this is perfect for a feminine card for some lucky lady.
This outdoes anything I have seen. Me and pink are the best of buds and I will be trying (trying, I said) to replicate this one! Girl you “amaze” me again and again.

Hello Becca!!
This is an absolutely beautiful card. I love the shades of pink and white/cream. I think this would be a beautiful birthday card which I hope to make for my daughter in law. You always come up with the most delicate looking cards that I believe anyone would be proud to have. I know I would.

Hi Becca, stunning! stunning! stunning! Now I do not usually like Pink cards as Pink is not a favourite colour of mine but this is divine, so, so pretty. Love the mystical die and the Vine background, both are on my wish list which is getting longer by the day lol! I adore your bow too.
Thank you for all your inspiration.

OMG! This is absolutely one of the most beautiful cards I have seen. I am always amazed at your talent! So Victorian and I love the color. It also answer a question I had about this background stamp when I was on the Just Rite site as I was not sure if the design or background would be in the ink color or paper color.
Wow, this is stunning. I love how you’ve layered the die cuts and the soft colours really work well. The bow is fab too.

Hi Becca. I am playing catch up so want to say that the new releases are all gorgeous. The watercolour card is beautiful, I love the effect it gives. The Oak leaves stamps look so good, those oranges, browns and greens are perfect together, and even thogh I prefer he hotter weather I love the colour we get in Autumn. Today’s card is so pretty, I love the Sweet Vines background and how you got the soft effect. Enjoy the new season : ) Take care.
Good morning Becca,
This is so delicately elegant. It’s fabulous.
I also have never heard of” World Card Making Day”, but as I make cards every day as a form of relaxation (and also because I need them for family and friends’ celebrations), I suppose I’m fulfilling the obligation to participate.
I’ve just made a birthday card for an “Honorary” aunt who is 100 later this month and used a couple of your ideas Many thanks for your inspiration xx.
Ooh, so pretty and delicate looking. I love it.

Becca your cards are just gorgeous, I look at your blog every day and you never fail to amaze me!
I wish you had the time to do more videos but I can understand that you are very busy. You make me look at my dies in a totally different way and I now get much more use out of them. Yours and Sue Wilsons blogs are my daily card fix, you are so inspirational!!!
Good morning Becca,
What a beautiful card the Mystical Embrace makes and well i am finding myself more and more a pink person as pink cards always look so pretty when done.
