Christmas Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Waltzingmouse Tag Collectoin 1 and Spellbinders Adorning Labels 25
Hi there blog friends!!  I’m absolutely tickled to be participating in the new releases  blog hop today where we’ll show you some of the new things offered by Waltzingmouse Stamps and today I’m at the end of the line for the hop.   Bonus, I have this card and am showing a non-Christmas card over on the Waltzingmouse Team Talk blog also – you can see it HERE!    Today, all these goodies are in the store, just to tease you a little bit more.   Remember, in order to complete the hop, leave a comment on as many of the Design Team Members Blogs as you can, as a random name is selected from each blog and then a final winner picked from those names. The winner will get a free stamp set of their choice from the Waltzingmouse Stamps store.  You have until May 5 at 5:59 AM CST to leave your comment and then you can check on the Claire’s Blog on May 6 after 6am CST to see if you are a winner.

Yes, it is only May but what better excuse to sift through my Christmas papers to make this card!  Today I picked traditional colors to show this awesome new tag in the Tag Collection 1 stamp set.  Real Christmas red and holly along with a couple of pearls and I am feeling quite festive.  My card is 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ and I used Spellbinders Adorning Labels Twenty Five and 5×7 Mystical Embrace on my layers.

Birthday Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using JustRite Cupcake Wishes and Spellbinders Marvelous Squares
Good morning blog friends!  Today I have quite a change of pace with a fun, fun birthday card.  I say fun because it was fun to design and fun to make and I think I can get away with giving it to an adult as well as a child.  It’s a tri-fold card with a peek-a-boo flap in a small size of  4″ x 4″.  When it opens up you see the first panel, the second panel, then the third panel and then the third panel flips up to reveal a final sentiment.  As you open each panel of the the card, the sentiments from  Large Birthday Party Sentiments Clear Stamps match the birthday song and on the final panel, a cupcake using the Cupcake Wishes Cling Stamp.
Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken - Tri-fold Peek-A-Boo Card

For each panel I cut Spellbinders Marvelous Squares and went around the border with a Krylon Gold Pen – one of my favorite craft tools.  Then I hand dyed a small piece of white seam binding to match the gingham background of each section and tied it around each panel.
WRBF-4275-2014
I cut the candles and cupcake pieces using SVG Cupcake Wishes Digital Cut then stamped using a variety of colors to match the gingham.  Each sentiment is cut using JustRite Vintage Sentiment Tag Dies.

Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using JustRite Butterfies and Spellbinders Gold Majesty Circles
Hi there blog friends!  As many of you guessed I was in one of the flooding areas yesterday.  Thankfully I’m on ground that’s a little bit elevated but I must say that I’ve never seen so much water appear in such a short time – not even in a hurricane.   It was about 10 feet from my house and thankfully receded during the day.  No worries though, rain to me is an open invitation to stay inside and get crafty, so that’s exactly what I did.  Today I’m joining as a part of the May 2014 new releases for JustRite Papercraft, and I’m using Butterflies Cling Stamps.  WRBF-4269-2014

For my card I started with a 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ card base and built it up using Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight, Spellbinders Gold Majesty Circles, Spellbinders Heirloom Legacy and finally, Standard Circles LG and Standard Circles SM.  I ran my ribbon through the slots on the small Heirloom Legacy piece and then decided to use two pieces of ribbon, criss crossed :-)

CRAFT SUPPLIES I USED
