Greetings Blog Friends! Guess what’s right around the corner? Yep! Lol, don’t let it sneak up on you. What better occasion than Mother’s Day to savor your favorite colors or hers and get totally girly with it? (Hold on Dad, we have something totally manly up our sleeves for you too, next month!) You know me, mine was destined to be pink with lots of filigree and corners hidden in there somewhere. So my card today uses three dies, Spellbinders 5×7 Heirloom Legacy, Spellbinders Antique Corner and Spellbinders Labels Four.
Beginning with a 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ card base, I simply cut my Heirloom Legacy and nestled both corners on opposite sides, anchoring with a glue dot. Once secured I turned over and added foam tape. My beautiful sentiment from Quietfire Design called the Happy Family Days set, is stamped onto Labels Four. After a bow and six small pearls, this is on the way to my sweet mom to let her know I’m thinking about her! She certainly won’t know what to think, because this year (stop the presses) I’ll be early!!

Where in the world would be with out our Moms!! So inquiring minds want to know…this year are you sending your Mom (or some sweet woman in your life) a card that is hand made or curated from a special collection from a store? Just so you know, I actually do send store bought cards too – no shame :-) I’ll see you soon!
Becca,
What a gorgeous card, and those colors…love the background paper. So elegant, dainty, frilly, stunning, I’m running out of adjectives. Another wonderful creation, as usual.
Love your card! Soooo pretty! I only send out handmade cards. Family and friends look forward to them now- so I feel guilty when I consider buying them,,,lol.
Another stunning creation Becca, and sooo beautiful in every aspect. I love it.
You almost chocked me, that you would send a storebought card with all these wonderful cards you make all the time? And all soo beautiful and amazing.
Another beautiful creation – handmade cards only sent – they are expected now but it does raise the level of shop bought cards that get sent to you I have found. Happy weekend.
Hi Because from A wet England. A crafting day I think. Your cards are stunning. Thanks for sharing. Lots of love, Jo xx
Beautiful card Becca! Thank you for sharing and being such an inspiration. I only send handmade cards for friends and family. I don’t think I’ve bought one in over 15 years! I don’t get cards though, many people don’t take the time to pick a card out. Even so, it is a joy to me to make them and share them. My Mom has every card I’ve made her, says she keeps them in a large hatbox I decorated for her a few years ago, that alone makes it worth it all.

Hi Becca. Your Mom will be delighted with this beautiful card. It is so pretty. Sometimes life means that a store bought card is needed, unless you are super super organised, and I’m not! It makes me feel better that you too use them sometimes. It is hard to find really nice cards in the stores in England though, and most cards over here are really expensive! That’s another reason why I love to make my own. Take care.
Hello Becca
Love the Pink ribbon….I see what you have done with the Die…. before I buy because you are so inspirational.
I really like the Heirloom Legacy though!
Take care Becca

Great card. I love the way you put the Spellbinder die cuts together. That is an art I haven’t mastered yet.
I have not bought a store bought card for 10 years – since I started stamping. My family expects handmade cards from me and I get my joy out of making them.
The recipients of your cards should consider themselves very lucky. They are always so beautiful – real works of art.
Hi Becca, I love your card today! Our moms are really the most important people! We really need to appreciate them more.
Hi Ms Becca just beautiful ,love the soft pink….
Dear Becca, I love your designs and your cards are an inspiration.
p,s. I forgot to say that I am a grandmother, but my granddaughters enjoy crafting with me (they are 10 and 7). However Mothering Sunday in England was on the 30th March. x
Thanks for reminding me Becca :)
Beautiful card and a great reminder. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
This is gorgeous Becca. I love the corner dies, I think I must have those :)

Your Mum will love this I’m certain!
Sadly my Mum passed away 16 years ago and I miss her each and every single day. Eyes filling up as I type! She would have loved your creations, Becca.
I send handmade cards to all the special people in my life and rarely send anything not hand produced. Once, when pushed for time as we were going away, I sent a shop bought card to a young University student and he asked our youngest if he had offended me in any way!!
I have a huge stash of cards, as we fundraise at Church, but you’ll often find me burning the midnight oil making a ‘special’ card – which reminds me that I have to make 4 for tomorrow! Actually – make that 5!!

Beautiful card. Wish my Mother was still alive , so I could make her a card.
What a beautiful card, Becca!! Any mom would be thrilled with such a pretty card! I love how you used that corner die.
I will make a hand made card for my mom, and I’m also making a little mini album for her with pictures of her new dog. As you know, she isn’t stamping much these days, so I hope this will get her interested again.
Such Loveliness as always Becca!! It truly is a treat to follow your blog! :) (((Hugs Dear Lady!))) :)
Such a beautiful and delicate card!
Hi Becca, Your card is so elegant and beautiful. I would so love to be able to give my Mum a card, but sadly she is no longer with me and I miss her every day, it has been 20 years but seems just like yesterday. We have already had our Mothering Sunday in the UK, and I took some beautiful and very pretty plants to the Crematorium for her.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Beautiful and delicate.love it.
Good morning Becca
Such a beautiful and luxurious card, I would have so loved to have made and given this to my Mum but lost her over 20 years ago, although at times seems only like yesterday. Over here in England we have already celebrated Mothering Sunday but not only then but each day she is in my thoughts and prayers.
With love

Good afternoon Becca,
What is wrong with pink? My daughter thinks everyone should have a bit of pink in their lives. What a beautiful card you have made Becca that any mother would be so happy to receive, but having said that a mother is happy to receive any hand made gift that her child gives her because it was made with love from the heart. I hope all our american mothers(and fathers who have been that mum and dad to their children) have a lovely day today with the people that love them the most.
Love and crafty hugs

This is such a beautiful delicate card. I just love the colors.
