Good morning friends . . . just popping in quickly to share a card that has been languishing on my desk for several weeks. Thinking about the right sentiment, I wanted something small and decorative so I had to really dig through my stash. That’s what happens when you make the card then need to find a way to fit the sentiment in :-) This all stems from not wanting to cover up any of the elegant texture of the die template I used. My sentiment stamped on vellum, is from an Anna Griffin set I picked up from HSN – I used Spellbinders Labels Thirty Seven to cut the bottom. The gorgeous gold work is Spellbinders Architectural Accents and the background was made using Spellbinders Vintage Brocade.
Before I ran my die template through the machine I swiped all the surfaces with Imagine/Crafts – Tsukineko’s Delicata Ink and after embossing the ink is pushed into tall the crevices giving the brocade an antique look. I love the elegant look as well as the contrast and dimension it gives. I paired it up with some silk ribbon, gold thread and a mulberry flower.

Good morning sweet friends…if you know me, you know I love, love, love, gift wrappings and boxes. Today I want to share with you a regal ensemble that I sent off to CHA. I love making something simple, that as a wrapping will draw as much joy as what’s inside. I came up with a crown box and a scepter that I thought would be as delightful for a little princess, a king or a queen :-)
The peaks of the crown and the scepter use Spellbinders Petite Monarch and the box is additionally embellished with Spellbinders Imperial Border.

Thanks so much for stopping by :-) Friends near and far, stay safe and warm (Australian friends are certainly saying no problem with that :-))
Oh my, today is a total girly card, sweet friends. I love cameos and silhouettes so I couldn’t wait to use Spellbinders Silhouette – so dainty! I didn’t use stamps on the outside but I have a sentiment printed off for the inside that says, She is Clothed with Strength and Dignity and Laughs without Fear of the Future. I framed the silhouette using Spellbinders 5 x 7 Heirloom Legacy and embellished it with Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders Two.
Instead of adding extra matting layers, I edged my pink panel with a Krylon Gold Pin for contrast; I also edged inside the oval. The border that I added along the bottom is a great stand in for lace. How fun playing around with all these girly things! I’m ready with my next wedding or prom card :-)
As always, thank so much for stopping by. Enjoy your week!!

I love to see how you use some of these dies in combination with each other. I wish my brain worked the same way yours does, but unfortunately that is not the case. I would never have thought to use them together like you have here, but I really do love the vintage brocade die and will want to add this to my collection. I can see many uses for this one as well as the architectureal accents die set. I also love the gold posterboard which I have in my stash and see that you are using alot of it lately in very clever ways. Thanks for the visual ideas on using some of these dies. It always helps.

You don’t just make cards, you make masterpieces.
Every time I think you’ve outdone yourself, there you go again… You do IT and I have to say it all over again! I THINK YOU’VE OUTDONE YOURSELF GIRL! This card is gorgeous. I must say though that it’s frustrating cause I can’t run out and get my hands on the dies RIGHT AWAY.
Beautiful, Becca. So wonderfully elegant. Love it. Thank You.

Beautiful, so elegant.
Gorgeous! Gorgeous!!! Love this elegant fabulous card!!!!
Love this card and would never have thought of using just the bottom half of a die in this way. Thank you Becca for the never ending inspiration. Have a good weekend. x

Hi Becca,
Such a lovely card and why should I be surprised you used an Anna Griffin sentiment. Anna is another talented lady. Love the colour combinations in this card. Very elegant and a favourite combo of mine.
Trust you have a lovely weekend. It is cold and wet across the pond!
However we are thankful that we are warm and dry – not everyone is so blessed.
God Bless, love Myra

Beautiful Becca!
Beautiful card, thanks for sharing. You are amazing.
Beautiful as always, Becca. I have a request for you: Please, please, please do a youtube.com tutorial on making your beautiful stick pins. I think you did one a long time ago, but I can’t find it. They add so much to each of your cards and each is so unique. Thank you for all your inspiration!
Hi Becca,
what a lovely card and clever use of the Vintage Brocade. Love the bow and flower.
I bought one of your stamps (cascading ferns) and would you believe it – the fairies have hidden it. I can’t find it anywhere – currently in a bit of an upheaval with regard to storage of crafting stuff. All the other Justrite stamps (apart from one which I bought together with yours) are now neatly clipped on the floorstand I’ve assembled yesterday! But I suppose they’ll turn up at some time……….
Have a good weekend.
Hugs, Rose
WOW! how beautiful. How long have you been crafting/card making. Your cards are absolutely gorgeous.
My favorite time of the day is when I have a moment to click on the link to your blog that graces my email inbox. You never disappoint.

Gold just goes with any color it seems! This card is beautiful! I skimmed right past these particular dies thinking they didn’t have much potential. Then I saw how you used them. No wonder Spellbinder loves your work! We all are profiting by your combination of these dies too. I am not familiar with the gold poster board but will check it out as it seems sturdier looking in your pictures than just reg paper. I am wondering how you keep those heavy bows with flowers and pin attached firmly to the cards. Thanks for sharing all these creative cards.
Beautiful, simply beautiful…
Beautiful!!
Hi Becca,
This is gorgeous, love all the delicate dies, so beautiful. You have added the sentiment well.
Love & hugs

Becca This card took my breath away. It is perfectly lovely!
Hi Becca. I love butterflies and this beautiful card. I thank God for the amazing creative talent He has blessed you with. Have a wonderful day Blessings
Love, love, LOVE your card–as always. SO gorgeous, and I’d been wondering what you used (card-stock) to create your amazing die cuts that are usually gold foil but sometimes silver too. You said “gold poster board” in one list, and I thought “aha”, perhaps it’s at one of the big craft stores in the US–I live in Canada, but only 45 minutes from the NY border, and love crossing and shopping when I can. I’d asked about such CS in our local stamping store and the wise person there suggested that I e-mail and ask, and I was going to do that. Then on a recent quick trip across with a good friend (I met her through stamping, she’s such a gem, a wonderful friend named Donna), and we only had time to stop at Hobby Lobby, she had never been to HL. I found the gold and silver poster board and bought one sheet of each to try, just in case it wasn’t the right one. My friend LOVED HL too!!!
Then I laughed when I saw this posting, and you’d listed the gold poster board, and that it was from Hobby Lobby too. Thanks SO much!!! I needed a good chuckle!!! HOPING I will be able to create some gorgeous die cuts too with this amazing poster board. And the next time I’m blessed to be able to go across the border, I’ll pick up a few more sheets…
As always, Becca, you amaze me with your gorgeous cards and other projects, and I’m thrilled when I see more coming out from Amazing Paper Graces in stamp sets and dies, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a collection of printed papers too at some point. Any of those top paper companies like Graphic 45 and so many more would be blessed to have you on their design team… I just KNOW you are going to do more and more in this field, and you’ve accomplished a lot already through much talent, hard work, and most of all through God’s leading and His perfect design.
Love, Joanne
