Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using the New 2014 Spellbinders Ornate Labels One
Hi there blog friends, another quick card to share using a fabulous new 3D Embossing Folder from Spellbinders – the name of this one is Spellbinders Ornate Labels One.  In the area that is shaped like a Labels One die, I cut out using Spellbinders Medallion Four.  On each layer I cut out a circle on that layer so that the card was see through.  I drug my inkpad across the embossing and it nicely added color to the raised areas.  I finished up by adding Spellbinders Scalloped Borders Two along the bottom of my card.

Below is a picture taken of the inside :-)  The sentiment  (Cupcake Creations stamp set from Justrite Papercraftinside the card is set far enough down that you don’t really see it in the window.  I  embellished it with the sweet little bow from the Cupcake Stand Dies.

Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using JustRite and New Spellbinders Typewriter
Hi there sweet friends.  I absolutely love this time of year because there are new products coming out, and I finally get to show them rather than just talk about them.  I made this card on a lark last night because every time I looked at this new die, I busted out in giggles.  To me, it’s just the cutest thing ever.  Just this week Spellbinders released a new D’Lite Typewriter.  Cute!!  I had to think back to figure out what in my stash would go with it, so I grabbed one of the fabulous new JustRite Papercraft background stamps called Tufted Cling Background Stamp.  On top of my background stamp I layered  Spellbinders Elegant Labels Four and the new Spellbinders Labels Thirty Eight.  I knew I wanted to put a bit of paper in the typewriter with a sentiment on it and I found a great one in the Call Me Soon set.

WRBF-4080-2014
Greetings blog friends, it has been a busy week in blog land!  I have a card to share today and at the end of my post you’ll find the winners for my New Years Blog Candy.  Thanks so much for entering, it’s my pleasure to send these prizes out to the winners.  Winners do need to reach out to me through my contact page with their addresses within 48 hours to claim their prizes.  In the meantime, let me share a quick card made with one of the new singles from JustRite Papercraft called Butterfly Kisses.  I created a card base by cutting two panels using an EK Success Border Punch (Modern Cube Large Edge Punch) – my tutorial HERE shows you how to make the punched panel.

And now for the winners!!

WRBF-New-Year-Blog-Candy-Winners

Thanks again for participating, I’ll do this again, soon :-)

For the Winners of the Blog Candy…What a lovely way to start the day – Congratulations!!
Your card is so delicate Becca. It has inspired me to think of a way I can use an old punch I had that I used to feed ribbon through…and has been slowly pushed to the back of the punch drawer!

Thirdly, I am thinking of you all over there with the freezing cold conditions and only wish you were all over here with me in the warmth…. we could be having a huge card-making bonanza camp, and soaking up the sun when we stopped for an occasional coffee and muffin!!…. Just imagine!ReplyCancel
