Card Making Ideas Using JustRite Papercraft – Ornate Corners, Autumn Vintage Labels Three, Spellbinders Asian Motifs, Spellbinders Captivating Squares, Spellbinders Labels Thirty Two and Spellbinders Gold Squares One
Good morning blog friends, today is the fourth day of new releases for JustRite Papercraft and today I stamped with a new set called Ornate Corners and my sentiment is from Autumn Vintage Labels Three.  Now yesterday I mistakenly called my post Ornate Corners when what I meant was Elegant Corners.  There’s a difference….the corners from yesterday were an already constructed background while today each set of corners and embellishments is separate.   I picked a very victorian corner from the set to grace the four points of my card.  Along with the stamp I layered a couple of die templates – Spellbinders Asian Motifs, Spellbinders Captivating Squares, Spellbinders Labels Thirty Two and Spellbinders Gold Squares One.  It’s been a while since I’ve done any square cards and they seem to fit the bill this week :-)

If it’s possible can you come up with the “script” background for JustRite stamps please. I really your style, so I am sure you will come up with something amazing, if of course you will take the project on.

Ditto to everyone’s comments!! I’m amazed every time you post a picture of your card/creation….I love them.

Was wondering – do you do something special to get your embossed effect? Your embossing always seems so crisp and pronounced.
Mine doesn’t seem as predominant as yours, and I think adds a little more to the card.ReplyCancel

Card Ideas by www.amazingpapergrace.com using JustRite Papercraft – Elegant Corners Background, Birthday Wishes For You, Spellbinders Framed Petite Labels, Spellbinders Labels Four, Spellbinders Labels Fourteen, Spellbinders Twisted Metal Tags and Accents

Good morning blog friends!  I know it seems like I’ve been on a birthday kick, but one can never have enough birthday cards in the stash, right?  Today’s card is more toward the clean and simple end with a couple of small layers.  My card uses a new October release from JustRite Papercraft called Elegant Corners Background and the sentiment is Birthday Wishes For You.  I reached for Spellbinders Framed Petite Labels for the embossed background layer and also reached for Spellbinders Labels Four, Spellbinders Labels Fourteen and Spellbinders Twisted Metal Tags and Accents.  I love using black for the card base and mats – it just makes everything pop.

Card Ideas by www.amazingpapergrace.com using JustRite Papercraft – Elegant Corners Background, Birthday Wishes For You, Spellbinders Framed Petite Labels, Spellbinders Labels Four, Spellbinders Labels Fourteen, Spellbinders Twisted Metal Tags and Accents (closed)

No mystery to this card except I wanted a pop of color in the center where the stamp has a labels four outline – I cut mine out using the matching Labels Four die template for the sake of contrast. The background, embossed in white, is so ornate and pretty!

Here’s your Step By Step Recap of die cuts and layers, from the bottom up:  Start out with a Card Base  (5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″) , foam tape, pink cardstock embossed with Petite Framed Labels cut to 5-3/8″ x 7-3/8″, foam tape, black matting layer cut to 4-1/2″ x 5-3/4″, pink stamped layer cut to 4-3/8″ x 5-5/8″ – labels four is cut from this layer, foam tape, combination of Labels Fourteen and Metals Tags.  Add ribbon, flower button and pearls.

Card Making Idea from www.amazingpapergrace.com using JustRite Papercraft – Black Eyed Susan Vintage Labels, JustRite Vintage Labels Five, Spellbinders Tapestry, Spellbinders Grand Labels Twenty Three
Hi there sweet blog friends, today is full of a couple of ‘news’ :-)  1.  A new stamp set from JustRite Papercraft called Black Eyed Susan Vintage Labels.  2.  A new die template from JustRite Papercrafts called Vintage Labels Five and 3.  A new die, Spellbinders Tapestry.   No worries, I reached for a trusty standby and created the card base from Spellbinders Grand Labels Twenty Three.  Oh  but wait, there are a couple more ‘news’ I forgot about!!!  A new website at JustRite Papercraft and a new look at the blog at JustRite Inspirations – if you click any of my links here, you’ll get to take a peek.

Card Making Idea from www.amazingpapergrace.com using JustRite Papercraft – Black Eyed Susan Vintage Labels, JustRite Vintage Labels Five, Spellbinders Tapestry, Spellbinders Grand Labels Twenty Three (closeup)

For my card, the main focal element is the cutout using Spellbinders Tapestry cut directly into the card base.  I backed the cutout with a piece of vellum so that you couldn’t see right through like with most filigree cards.  I cut a second panel using the Tapestry die template and trimmed out the oval motif that I stacked directly on top of my main panel. I finished off the stack with JustRite Vintage Labels Four.

Here’s your Step By Step Recap of die cuts and layers, from the bottom up:  Start out with a Card Base cut using Grand Labels Twenty Three (5-1/2″ x 6-7/8″) , card base front cut using Tapestry die cut, foam tape, die cut layer using oval motif trimmed out of the center of Tapestry die cut, foam tape, Vintage Labels Four.  Add lace, ribbon ad pearls.
