You have until July 3rd at 5:59 AM CST to leave your comment and then you can check on the Claire’s Blog on July 4th after 6am CST to see if you are a winner.  Stay tuned, below I’ll tell you your next stop along the hop!!

I just knew you could take those cherries and really do something beautiful with them! Your classic elegance and beauty is what I love!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!

What a treat it was today to find three yummy cards! I feel blessed when there is at least one!!!! Thank you so much for telling us how you do the cards, so I can at least attempt to do something beautiful.

Do you have a method of thinking up designs? Like do you see the whole card in your mind before you make it, or do you have lots of things cut wiht the dies and you just play around with them? Love your talented way with beauty.ReplyCancel

There’s nothing better than the day the postman leaves your house and you know there’s a package waiting there for you.  Well actually there is something better and that’s when the package is new stamps!!  I still get that way and that’s what makes stamp releases so cool!!  So we’re back for Day 3 of Previews for Waltzingmouse Stamps   during their June Release.  There are more new sets to see!!  I’m using the new Country Labels 14 for a powdery blue card stacked with accents.  The sentiment is so cute; the card says Love You to Bits.  I printed out this sweet paper from ByDigital for my background and stayed within the same color palette for the rest of the card.
WRBF-3883-2013
So to recap my layers from the bottom up, the card base is made from Spellbinders 5 x 7 Elegant Labels Four.  My tutorial on Spellbinders Hinged Card Bases will show you how to make your card base, if you have any questions.  This one is filigree on the front and solid on the back.  The rest of the layers are as follows:  design paper layer 4″ x 5-3/4″, foam tape, die cut layer from Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight, foam tape, die cut layer cut from Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles, foam tape, die cut layer cut from Spellbinders Labels Fourteen.  Ribbon and flowers go on their appropriate layers.

My stack of Spellbinders is always growing, thanks to you. And yesterday I went to the craft store and bought a 14″sq. 3 drawer plastic container and some mat board. I have always kept my ribbon in big boxes, and I am so appreciative of your sharing how you store it. It is going to work fine–and look so much better on the shelf.
I also joined Etsy.com, so that I would have access to those beautiful By

Well, as you suggested I looked at every one of the other artists cards and not one of them can hold a candle to you! You are really out of this world in your designs! Where did you come from? Your designs are so elegant, so beautiful, so Wow! I know to create such beauty, you have to have all that elegance, and beauty inside you, and it just spills out into your cards, to bless our world, enticing us to at least try to come up to your world of creativity. There are no adaquate words to say what your cards do to my soul, to look at such beauty day after day! When ever I see there is a message from you it makes my day! I agree with all the others “Love you to Bits” Becca. Thank you for blessing my world.ReplyCancel

WRBF-3880-2013
Welcome to the Waltzingmouse Stamps  June Release.  This is preview Day2 and the design team is previewing quite a few new sets.  I went with a brown and cream card today because I’m using a crackle background stamp.  Since it is a reverse background, I stamped with Versamark and embossed with clear ink then rubbed Tea Dye ink in the crevices to highlight the crackle.  The mini measures 2-5/8″ x 3-3/8″ which was just the right size for the interior of one of my die layers.

WRBF-3881-2013

So to recap my layers from the bottom up, I started with a card base of 5-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ , foam tape, die cut layer with Spellbinders A2 Filigree Delight, foam tape, die cut layer with Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight, foam tape, die cut layer with Spellbinders Window Two,  die cut layer with Spellbinders Labels Eight with sentiment.  After all was put together, the corners were embellished with Spellbinders Moroccan Accents.  Flowers and ribbon added on appropriate layers.

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps Waltzingmouse Stamps – Reverse Crackle Background Mini, Light of the World
Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Natural White Smooth 80 lb Cardstock, EKS – Acorn
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Tea Die Distress Ink, Versamark

Lovely coffee colours – wish I could tie bows like you can.. I’ve been told you have to tell the ribbon who’s boss -(not literally – that would be mad – but treat it firmly I mean) I do that but it doesn’t believe me and does it’s own thing – the tails stick out at odd angles, or the bit in the middle is all twisted and scrunched up – not flat and perfect like yours. I have bow envy I think. Happy weekend! Off to shout at some ribbon…ReplyCancel
