WRBF-3648-2012
Sweet blog friends, happy new week!!  I haven’t had a chance to make a card for a couple of days;  I’m on the road taking care of some family business so I don’t have all of the craft room conveniences, as you can tell from my natural daylight pictures (phew, that was a learning curve at dawn).  I finished off a card I started at home and wanted to share ;-).   Are your eyes still twinkling after seeing the peeks and reveal of all the new Spellbinders??  Well, me too!!    Today I have a layered and jeweled card to show.  It’s made using Spellbinders ™ Elegant Labels Four.  It fit like a glove with two of the new CHA sets from JustRite Papercrafts; I used the Garden Gate Background which I stamped on the uppermost layer before die cutting.  Then I also used Buntings and Banners for the tags.

WRBF-3650-2012

My sentiment is cut using Spellbinders™ Fancy Framed Tags Two.  The tiny tag is just the cutest ever – it’s Spellbinders™Charmed I’m Sure.  I love the flexibility of this type of card, I can easily switch out my tiny little tag to direct this to another endeared family member or friend!

WRBF-3649-2012

Because the card is so see through I decided to add design paper to the inside so that it peeks out a tad when the card is closed – just enough to make you curious :-)

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: JustRite Papercrafts – Garden Gate BackgroundBuntings and Banners
Paper: Neenah Classic Crest – Natural White. K & Company
Ink: Amuse – Blush, Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink
AccessoriesSpellbinders ™ Elegant Labels FourSpellbinders™Charmed I’m Sure, Spellbinders™ Fancy Framed Tags Two, May Arts Silk Ribbon, lace, Recollections Half Pearl Stickers, Bow Maker

Sending sweet blessings!!

Announcing-Kit05

INTHEKIT05

Hi there sweet blog friends!!  Thanks for all the kind comments on the stroll back through some favorites.  I’ve hopped around quite a bit and looked at quite a few similar posts in blogland; I find them inspiring too!!  Well, its a glorious start to a new week and I have something new to share – a new kit.   This is our fifth kit and it begins shipping on February 1st.  No worries if you are not a member – if you want to try just one kit to see if you like it – you can give it a try.

It was fab.u.lous working with Melissa Frances paper and embellies this month.  In addition to two cards, there is a hanging gratitude journal or scrapbook.   There’s enough paper and premade die cuts in the kit – along with the stamps – that there’s a lot of room to personalize the journal pages.  I also made a Bib for a Gift Bag.  One of the dies in the set will make a paper bow – I’ll include pictures here so that you can get an idea of what I’m talking about.

Don’t forget, if you have any questions about the kit you can call Customer Service at 918-453-9111 or email them directly HERE.
Thanks for stopping by!!  See you soon!!

Oh my oh my this is so gorgeous Becca. I really wish it wasn´t sooo darned expensive to get anything into this country here, so I could get some of these. But unfortunately it´ll be way too expensive with the importtaxes, custom and fee´s we have to pay for everything over 12$ here, and as they even count of the postage too, it´s impossibble to get anything under that amount anywhere, I´m afraid. But boy it´s just gorgeous, I really love to watch these creations every months, and how I would love to be able to make anything like this. I´m in total awe about your stunning creations sweetie, sooo gorgeous work.
HAve a wonderful day and lots of fun with your creations.ReplyCancel

I wait each month to get my white box…open it…..carefully open the beautiful doily wrap to see the beautiful supplies, directions, embellishments, dies, rubber stamps….

I think, what I get out of this subscription the most, is technique. Each month, You teach me, how to look at my dies differently…how to use them in other ways, giving me value in what I already own.

Sweet Blog Friends, now that I’ve had a chance to reflect on 2012 I thought I would share some thoughts with you.  What a year!!  If I had to sum it up in one word, I’d say BUSY!  Okay, if I add two more words I say ADVENTURE, REWARDING.  Indulge me, if I can leave one more word, I’d say BLESSING.  It’s a special feeling as I look back over the last year and re-live some of the encouragement and interaction that brought about some of my favorite cards and projects.  As a crafter, you should do this too – you’ll  see how much you grew!  In the interim, I hope you take a second to take a stroll back through 2012 with me.  At the bottom of my post I’ll have links to 2011 and 2010 just in case you’re in the mood to reminisce.

My, my, my, how the years fly – here’s a look back through the past several years:

OH 2009 was not that bad! There’s a lot of good inspiration there, even if maybe you wouldn’t do it exactly the same way now! I wasn’t here in 2009 and I even saw a lot of things I think I’d like to toy around with. At any rate, I love your designs and your style, and I’m always amazed at the things you come up with when using your Spellbinders. The way you cut them apart and reassemble them is absolutely mind-blowing. I love the way you envision things.ReplyCancel

Hi Becca, Even though I visit regularly I have’nt left any comments for a long time, not because I don’t like your work any longer but because I cannot find the adjectives to do it justice. There are only so many times a body can say “Just beautiful” or “Awesome” or even “Stunning” without becoming boring. I would just like to say though that you are so very talented and all your work is “Beautifully, stunningly awesome” and cannot begin to understand why you have put “Cringe” next to your works of art for 2009 as they ARE just that, works of art I mean!
Best wishes, and hope you have a wonderful “New Year”
