Hi there blog friends! Time for another card, and a small break from holiday cards, but something I may be able to pass off as masculine, for my stash. Yes, it has lace and yes, the big bow, but I love the Hero sentiment so I’ll tuck this away for a wonder guy who needs a pick me up or it may go to one of my women friends too – women can be heroes too! This was quickly put together using JustRite Papercrafts Premium Labels. For my background I used Spellbinders™ Grand Circles for my sentiment and trimmed off the bottom edge using a Martha Stewart Border Punch. On top of the circle put two layers of JustRite Nested Medallion Labels Dies – they stack up nicely to highlight the stamp which matches the die template. I wanted a little more dimension so I stamped again – this time in blue, cut it out with Spellbinders™ Standard Circles SM and popped it up over the original for dimension.
To finish off I added lace and ribbon and curved a flat filigree piece from my stash over to corner to embellish it. Yikes, masculine cards are so hard for me! It’s so hard to resist the opportunity to use ribbon and lace :-)

Thanks so much for stopping by. On the mend and back soon!
Greetings Blog Friends! You mean so much to me, so I hope you’ll tolerate another scheduled post. I’m probably lounging somewhere recuperating while the blog cranks along on auto-pilot. I don’t normally schedule ahead – when you see a blog post – usually I’m sitting right there still editing. At any rate, another card for the stash-a-roonie :-) Christmas means so much to me, but on the “B” list is the notation that I get to use red as much as I want, yay!
Actually the purpose for this card is to use my new Tsukineko Delicata Ink Pad. I’m a connoisseur of gold ink and I’ve honestly not seen anything like this one. I simply embossed with Spellbinders™ Holiday Magic M-Bossibilities™ folder and swiped Delicata pad across the embossing for a sparkling highlight. I smudged the edges with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. On the card I layered Spellbinders™ Picot Edge Circles between two sizes of Spellbinders™ Vintage Lace Motifs and Spellbinders™ Vintage Lace Accents. I scrounged around my stash for some tea stained seam binding, button, pearl and holly leaves. The Peace and Joy comes from the Turtle Dove Ornaments set from Our Daily Bread Designs. Yummy red :-)
Hugs friends, thanks for your prayers, I’ll be back soon!
Dear Blog Friends, I have a quick card to share and I hope you’ll excuse (or enjoy ha-ha) a brief post. I’m bend on adding more cards to my Christmas stash, so voila!! I really loved using the round ornament elements from Our Daily Bread Designs for the center part of my card. This set is the Turtle Doves Ornament. Have you ever seen so much coloring from me as for this week? Lol, I’m finding it a pleasant change up in creating – going through a phase…
I centered the ornament cut from Spellbinders™ Standard Circles LG and matted it using Spellbinders™ Standard Circles SM. This pairing is mounted on Spellbinders™ Lattice Motifs. Since I used gold mirror paper as an accent around my panels and the layered circles, I decided to let it peek through the back of the lattice label.
Thanks so much for stopping by – I’ll be back soon!

OH MY BECCA!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE that BOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (OF COURSE, made with the “Becca Bow Maker” I’m SURE! :) )
Just stunning! That bow is amazing – I’m so glad I bought one of your bow makers – it’s my favourite crafty purchase this year! By the way, I missed you on the Waltzing Mouse release previews this time – hope you are back on the road to recovery now.
Becca,
That is a beautiful card. It would be good to send it to someone that needs a pickup. I need to make a card similar to that for some of my friends that need a pickup especially at this time of year.
Gorgeous card. Love that luscious bow and the colors in your card. I think any hero would love to receive it.
Beautiful card!
This is a lovely card that would encourage anyone!
Gorgeous card, beautiful colour scheme, would love to know how you made that bow, its fabulous!!!
Like your card but have to say I LOVE that bow.
Any chance of a Tutorial on how to do them???
Hope you are well on the road to recovery now.
God Bless

Hi, Becca – what would a card from you be without a bow or lace LOL????
The brown bow is exquisite as is the entire card! There are lots of soldiers and vets who would be touched to be reminded how their service is appreciated <3 much love to you — Rosy
Very elegant card, love the colors!!!
As always, your cards are works of art, but the lace and frilly bow are not masculine, and couldn’t see any man in my family receiving it. I admire your creativity and would love to see masculine inspirations with nowith non frou-frou designs as I always struggle with that as a mom of three ‘all boy’ sons and wife of a retired Navy submariner.
glad to hear you are on the mend. I think it’s a great masculine card. I know my husband would love to receive something like this, of course, he is a special man.
Becca, love the bow and the lace tucked in behind! Again, thanks for
sharing with us.
Beautiful card!! Yes, I agree that it has more than one purpose!
Gorgeous , stunning card- for either gender. Hope you are feeling better each day. Would love a tutorial on your layered bow with the Becca bow maker. Get well soon.
Cindy
This is an excellent masculine card!! Love the colors and the elements you used. So happy to hear you are on the mend, and hope you feel better each day, take care!!
Becca – that is the most beautiful card.
I have invited a group of stampers to lunch next week and ornament making! and I can’t find the beautiful double sided paper you used to make that beautiful Honeycomb Ornament a year ago. I have had disastrous results using reg. tissue paper (too soft) and also parchment paper. (too stiff.) Please tell me where I can order some of that paper.
