For my card this month I turned back to Spellbinders™ Floral Ovals which I made into a frame using Spellbinders™ Classic Ovals LG. Inside I stacked another from the Floral Ovals Set and stamped my sentiment on it then topped it off with Spellbinders™ Jewel Framed Sentiments. I couldn’t resist to put a little tiara at the top using Spellbinders™ Venetian Motifs. And now for all the information about the hop . . .

Hello there blog friends! Can you take one more duo tone card? I’m telling you, I was elbow deep in the cream paper and I thought I’d finish what I started. This is another one I’ve had in the back of my mind for a while and it was good to sit down and try it out. It’s a shaped card made using Spellbinders™ Labels Twenty Eight. I simply cut two and glued them together – the cool thing is that I scored across the top dome only on the back leg of the card, folded the dome forward and placed adhesive on it. For the textured background I used Spellbinders™ Fancy Lattice and topped with another framed cutout of Labels Twenty Eight. My sentiment fit perfectly on Spellbinders™ Decorative Labels One. I finished up with some flowers using Spellbinders™ Spiral Blossoms Three. It’s a smaller card since it’s a shaped card, but I found that everything fit comfortably.
I couldn’t finish up without a matching bookmark!! For this one I kept the bookmark simple and added the second smallest die template from Spellbinders Decorative Labels One as a fob. On the fob I was able to fit a small sentiment and two matching flowers!!

Hello there blog friends! Well, it’s just a tone week isn’t it? When I made my card yesterday I had a couple of other cards in progress and for all of them I was working with tone on tone. This started out being a tone on tone card, then I switched it up today and added another color, a soft color. This was the first time I’ve played around with Spellbinders™ Grand Decorative Circles One and it was the inspiration for a round 6″ x 6″ card with some patterning on the inside. Again, I wanted a touch of texture so I picked Spellbinders™ Garden Lattice embossing folder and topped the design off with Spellbinders™ Vintage Lace Motifs. The three small flowers with leaves on the edge of the card are Spellbinders™ Bitty Blooms. The sentiment is a Quietfire Design stamp from the new Happy Family Days that just happened to fit perfectly!!
Since I’m on a bookmark kick, I made a matching bookmark from one of the new Our Daily Bread Designs sets and used two of their bookmark dies on the project. I simply glued one on top of the other and it actually gives it a lot of stability. Could not resist the bow, but it’s at the top and shouldn’t interfere with a thing :-)

OH BECCA!!!!!!!! This makes me think of a Grandmas’ wall in her home! AND the little oval in the “center…” the way you layered it on the cardstock that was a little darker….makes it look like that white oval on top folds out! Like an ornament! I THINK it’s that piece from the die that comes up at the top of all those pieces that makes it look like it’s hanging on the wall! AND that LOVELY LACE, like a Grandma would have! :) (Can you tell I like Grandma things???? :) )
