Blog friends, I hope today is a glorious one for you!  First of all I have to say that some of my all time favorite quotes have to do with light or the way being shone.  It’s a recurring theme in my life that strikes at the heart.  No better way of discovery than the pathway that’s lit, even figuratively.   Now, having said that, only you can imagine how excited I was when the same theme cropped up in new Waltzingmouse Stamps.  Today I’m working with Light of the World, Bright Season and Little Lanterns – sigh!

Here I’m using the small lanterns.

This is the largest lantern – love!!

As always, an opportunity to use bling!!

These cards are so dramatic and beautiful. The second one in particular enchanted me. The lantern looks 3D. Is that possible or is it your clever presentation. Also, I have never mentioned how much I like the way you stage your cards. The background is always appropriate, beautiful, artistic and very Becca’ish. That means great!ReplyCancel

Hi there blog friends!  I’m back with more of the new Waltzingmouse Stamp releases.  I’m smiling because one of the new releases is a die template.  Most of the Design Team has sneaky peeks for you today.  The packaging isn’t shown anywhere but if you’re sure to hop around and visit everyone who made a sample today, you’ll see a good part of the release!

The first set I used was Camellia; I used it as a background on my card by stamping in versamark.  I also created the text background by pulling out one of my older Waltzingmouse Stamp sets called Text It.  I used a filigree accent as a border and then thought it would look nice with some roses arranged on top of it.

For the box, I used elements from the new Waltzigmouse Opera Tags.  I made a small box and lid then flipped the box over and attached four of the larger tags to the lid.  On top of that I layered the smaller Opera tag.

So, for this gift box, you lift off the  largest portion by the handle and your gift is revealed.

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: Waltingmouse Stamps – Opera Tags, Camellia, Text It
Paper: PTI, Coredinations
Ink: Versamark, Versafine Onyx Black, Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink
Accessories:Recollections Pearls, Silk Ribbon, Seam Binding, Prima Flowers, button,  Waltzingmouse Custom Spellbinders Die Templates – Opera Tags

Hi there blog friends, I have new stamps on my desk – what better reason to get inky!!  Today I’m using a Waltzingmouse Stamps set called Vintage Garden Appleblossoms and all the companion stamps are dreamily vintage.  Today the design team are showing several different sets that go along with the Seed Packet Frame.  I cut my largest layer using
Spellbinders™ Resplendent Rectangles and then the layer right behind the seed packet is made with Spellbinders™ Decorative Labels Eight.  I seamed my cardbase together for my 5″ x 7″ card so to camoflage the seam, I simply added the border from Spellbinders™ Vintage Lace Accents to the top of the card!

The small sentiment from the set is as sweet as can be.  I snagged Spellbinders™ Back to Basics Tags to cut out.

There’s lots going on, so be sure to stop by the rest of the Design Team to see what they dreamed up today!
