Designer Bio - https://www.amazingpapergrace.comMargie enjoys different types and styles of paper crafting from creating scrapbook pages to making cards to dabbling in mixed media! This passion went from a hobby to working on many craft manufacturers and scrapbook retail design teams.

She considers herself lucky to have been a product designer for a line of chipboard and acrylic products, an author to articles and published artwork in several online and print magazines in the U.S. and overseas as well as on TV. For many years, she has taught different types of paper crafting classes from home, retail stores, consumer and trade shows, and retreats…even in Japanese! Residing in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago with her husband and their two boys, they put up with her crazy schedules and endless supplies of paper crafting! Whatever spare time she has in between, she enjoys reading and traveling.

Designer Bio - https://www.amazingpapergrace.comBeth is a lifelong crafter who started scrapbooking long before it was cool. Paper crafting turned into an obsession at the birth of her first son. Soon that turned into working on design teams, and then real jobs with leading manufacturers in the craft industry.

Beth has experience in all aspects of marketing including blog and design team management, website content, advertising, new product development, packaging, teaching, catalog design, and social media and SEO. Beth has taught scrapbooking and card-making classes at stores, as well as large consumer and trade shows. She has been published in magazines, on TV, and on product packaging. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

She lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and rescue dog. Tootsie loves car rides to the city to visit her two human brothers.

When not working, she enjoys a good spin or Pilates class. She is also a runner and completed 14 half marathons and 1 full marathon. She admits to spending wayyyyy too much time on Ancestry during quarantine.

Hello Gracelets!!  We are so tickled to share our inspiration for the newest Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for June 2020 – A2 Snip It Grid and Calendar Creator.  The Snip It Flowers Die from the September 2019  Die of the Month was quite popular so I decided to give you another option with lots of extras!  All of us on the Creative Team want to show you our take on how to use it.

Snip It Grid Extras

The extras added on to this die set make it a wonderful value.  In addition to the grid, you get an entire lower case alphabet plus enough of the upper case alphabet to do Day of Week abbreviations and Months.  If you are already a Member of the Die of the Month Club then you might be tickled to know that this lower case alphabet matches the Upper Case alphabet from October 2019 Die of the Month – One Kind Word.  We kicked around how we might use the die and here’s what we came up with:

  1. Background
  2. Large Frame
  3. Double Frame with two apertures
  4. Calendar
  5. Snip out the cross pieces and make a lined background
  6. Shaker Card
  7. Weaving

Okay, okay, you get the idea!  But we want you to know that this transforms and gives you so many unique options.

My Project Today using Snip It Grid:

Today I’m showing you a double frame.  I simply snipped out the middle and found two sentiments that worked together and voila!!  This arrangement gives me a double aperture and I really like the look, it’s quite unique for a saying you split up, or two.  I decorated with pearls and added some flirty little butterflies – they seriously make me smile.  Also for the first time I’m using double bows, they are simply nestled next to each other.  I’ll be doing that much more in the future!!

Tip:  I glued the frame down to design paper before snipping out the middle.  That gave me something substantial to work with!!

    Hi, Becca,
    This die arrived at the perfect time and to say it’s versaTILE is an understatement. My friend, the quilt maker turned 90 this month so I made her a card to suggest pieced blocks. It’s hard for me to resist putting butterflies on every card so, I agree, these are a delight. I love that you used different cardstock for the body and wings.

    I would have loved to be part of your design team but I don’t have a blog, I’m not on Instagram or Facebook.
