 
Sweet blog friends, today is day three of samples using my new sets and I love, love, love the Just The Right Words Set from JustRite Papercrafts. In my samples today I’m using all three sets.
So this is a stamp set that I dreamed of for a long time. Lots of stamp sets feature the same words, so I have lots of duplication and was looking for something different. For the last many months I’ve had a piece of paper beside my computer and every time I thought of a word I couldn’t find on a stamp set but wanted, I wrote it down. My other issue is that I always seem to be in a hurry – I fall flat and get a little flustered when trying to assemble sentences from a huge stable of words – I just get lost. It seemed to me that if I could just pinpoint two phrases that cover most situations that I could give a couple of words to fit in the blank to make it ultra simple. “Because you are so _______” and “I ______ you” seemed to fit the part and the wonderful thing is that you can use one outside and one inside and you can change the order! Throwing in Friend, ly, You and Are makes it so that you are not locked into the phrases. I immediately knew that I’d create a sample set of cards that I could run to quick, fast and in a hurry when I’m trying to get packages in the mail and have something special to say. I pulled together a set of enclosure cards – I send these out all the time, I can’t keep them around because they are small and go perfectly with a gift or box I’m sending out – these are 3″ wide by 5.5″ tall and fit in an A2 Envelope. Now don’t laugh when you read all the sentiments, my goal was to use every stamp today!!

For my project today I simply grabbed a clear container and decorated it with a band using a paper doily and paper stamped with Vintage Alphabet Soup Background then tied ribbon on and embellished with flowers. So easy and I’ll be able to find this when it’s time to use the little enclosure cards. For each card I used a premade My Minds Eye – Lost and Found – Preprinted Double Sided Card in an A2 size. I love the cardstock weight and these premade cards give me three patterns. I cut a 2.5″ x 5″ strip and matted it. I also added a little piece of doily and seam binding. Each are on a card base that is 3″ x 5.5″ made from Neenah Classic Crest Natural White 80lb Cover. Now my only challenge is to keep my little container full :-)

The post took quite a bit of time to write because I wanted to find just the right words – it was important. I was up at 6am writing although the samples were made earlier this month. I mentioned to a friend that I was listening to the 80’s music channel on TV when Wind Beneath Your Wings came on – if you know the words, then you can probably imagine the impact on this day. Otherwise, call me giddy :-) So here are more samples – these use the Vintage Alphabet Soup Background Stamp and show how you can mix and match the background with the Vintage Filigree Fancies Stamp set.

The card is made by overstamping the Vintage Alphabet Soup background on text printed design paper and mounting on a card base made by cutting the bottom of a folded card base with Spellbinders™ Labels Twenty Three. Filigree from Vintage Filigree Fancies is stamped onto Spellbinders™ Jar Labels then the label cut in half horizontally. Lastly the sentiment Warm Wishes is stamped and cut from Spellbinders™ Standard Circles LG. A button and seam binding top off the design for a card where I was happy to let the background be the star!!
Then a matching bookmark was made from the same sets. The background was stamped onto a piece of striped design paper and layered onto white and teal mats, cut just wide enough to accommodate the sentiment and rounded on the corners. I snipped off just enough of the panel so that it could be placed above and below the sentiment. Then I layered on Spellbinders™ Fancy Framed Tags One (new) folded in half and cut an opening using the smallest circle from Spellbinders™ Standard Circles SM. Lastly I cut two Spellbinders™S5-146 Botanical Swirls and wrapped them around the tag before a final glue into place.
The background coordinates with the sentiments so well that you can actually forgo the design paper!!

This has been a year of prayer, discovery and restoration for me. It’s been a very long struggle to get through the grief – I won’t say I’m over it but I’m am to the point that I had to take stock and get back to running my household and my life. I left my job to be a caretaker and when I woke up this year I figured out that I am not the same person! Life was not on pause waiting for me to come back, hit the button and continue where I left off. It’s almost like being in a coma – you wake up to figure out that the world has changed, the workplace has changed and your life has been changed by everything you’ve been through and in my case Amazing Paper Grace has changed who I am. It was awkward and a little distressing to figure out that I don’t fit where I used to fit.
 Yes, I toyed with creating a couple of tools and starting an Etsy store to keep my head above water. Needing a job and wondering what to do with Amazing Paper Grace when I went back to work created a lot of anxiety, okay . . . panic for me this year. I didn’t see a way that I’d be able to do both and talked to many about letting blogging go. Amazing Paper Grace has been my life vest for the last four years – something keeping me afloat while keeping me in close reach of my faith, friends and family. In my heart I know it was a gift sent to me, the answer to a prayer . . . at just the right time. Thinking about bringing things to an end brought a whole new round of grief but patience has brought an answer or more accurately, a nudging that I’m more than willing to take. I’ve been asked to license a line of stamps! It’s something I never thought I’d consider but it came along at just the right time.
You know me. You know how I got here. You’ve been with me all along on the journey. I have to think that this is where I fit in. As I stood in a convention hall in Ohio in April and hugged people whose stories were the same as mine – I felt like I fit in. As I read the comments and emails that come in about caretakers and cancer and how faith sustains us – I feel like I fit in. As I pray and look for guidance – I feel the comfort of fitting here. As I look up and see all the friends I have and the hugs that come in daily – I feel like this is where I’m supposed to be. I’m thankful to JustRite Papercrafts for giving me a chance – I’m blessed to be able get back up on my feet with their guidance – and along beside other stars in their licensing program like Samantha Walker. So the next step is Becca as a Craft Product Designer. In fact there are more pretty amazing things to come this month (make a mental note)! Nothing changes here at Amazing Paper Grace – you’ll still get the same original ideas, tutorials, Becca Bits and my frugal tips but in addition to showing you everyone else’s ideas (staying with all my design teams), you’ll get to see mine too!! So let me get on with it. There are three new stamp sets I’ve designed – I’ve been busy!
Today I’m showing a card made with Vintage Filigree Fancies in my favorite pinks – consider this a sneak peek of my first set. You can click here to see the set in it’s entirety!! If you poke around enough, you’ll even find a new logo :-) How did this come about? Well, this is one of the sets I was always searching for, wanted to buy, but never could find it. I wanted a filigree element and large drop caps in a vintage feel that could go from black and white, to gold embossed, to tone-on-tone. This is just one sample of what it looks like – you’ll see others throughout the month but the set, which will debut at CHA in a week, is available for preorder right now. If you want in on the first shipment coming, you’re able to pre-order now and they will begin shipping on July 24th. Normally the announcement would be made at CHA but these things leak out and I wanted you to hear it from me first and know how I got there!!

These are so pretty and elegant! I make cards for Operation Write Home and try to make at least 20 cards a month for them as well as those I make on an impromptu basis…so maybe 25 on average!

How many cards I make depends on peoples’ B.D.’s or things that pop up! So, I REALLY don’t have a set number, just go with the flow & sometimes I just make cards or 3D projects just for FUN! My new blog keeps me CREATING! :)
THESE ARE EXACTLY what I have been looking for myself. You expressed probably what most of us are experiencing when looking for the right things to say on a card. We are tired of buying stamps that have only one or two we can use for sentiments and then have to buy another. To have “key” words to draw from each time would free us to purchase other desired stamps. I am so happy, happy, happy! Thanks Becca for listening to what is really needed. I probably mail out 10 to 15 cards a month. Some are for card swaps but many are individual cards for birthdays, anniversaries, thank yous, thinking of you, get well and sympathy. Sadly, I’ve had too many occasions to send out sympathy cards lately.

I do make card sets to give to friends occasionally plus I sell a few in a local consignment shop. I love to make 3D items and often create some for my church fair, friends and relatives.

Absolutely love your new sets, Becca, AND I realized I was excited in the first comment I forget to mention that my “go-to” card size is A2. Most likely because it is convenient for layouts, can cut a piece of cardstock in half for two cards, etc, etc.

Just love what you are doing with ‘your’ new designs. Fabulous words, and love the alphabet stamped for a background. I do not send as many cards out each month as I would like to,- to individuals. I do however, make cards, and card sets as gifts for friends and people I know…others I make are sent to Operation Write Home and the Christian ones go to my Church book store. WOW, what an amazing stamp set. I too have numerous sets that have the same sentiments just have different fonts. This set has so many possibilities – words for so many different situations with just the right words for outside and inside the card.

I only make a couple cards a month for personal use. The majority of my cards are made for OWH. Yikes, I don’t know the number…it varies. I do love your stamp sets, this one has endless options. Great job.
This is such a great idea! And your stamps are so good because they are unique to the usual and very versatile. I don’t mail out or need more than 10 cards a month, and often my cards are delivered locally with a gift. I am planning a “card-making” day during my vacation next week so I am not always doing them in the wee hours. You have given me a wonderful answer to how to do them up. You are a treasure.
It really varies as to how many cards I send out per month. Unfortunately some months it’s zero but on a good month it can go up to 20 or more.

I have made up to 40 cards in a week. They go to Women”s Shelter, Shut-ins, and used for the card ministry in my church. A group gets together to make cards on Thursdays and we have a wonderful time. I also sell a few to help support my habit. This ministry of crafting women and sharing with people has gone to Mexico and Peru with other pastors wives so they can reach out to ladies in their community. It teaches a skill and creates fellowship too. Didn’t mean to be so long. I forgot to tell you my card count when I posted earliler. Blessings.

These are so lovely and yes, they show what can be done with just one set. I send out about 10 cards a month. Mostly birthday’s and thinking of you cards. About 1 or 2 a month could be a sympathy.

Again, so talented! I love the stamps you’ve created. They fit perfect with your style of card making and designs. I’m having trouble deciding which ones to order. I would like to get them all, but my husband wouldn’t like that! So, I’m going to have to pace myself. You should create a book with just your creations using the JustRite stamps and your stamp sets. I would buy that!

I have been wishing for these kind of sentiments forever but no one came close until you brought them out. I will definitely be buying this set. I usually only send out for or five cards a month but with these sentiments, I know I will be sending a lot more!

I just sent 116 cards to my home town for the hospital auxiliary. Hopefully they will sell all of them. They have no one in the town who could help them make the cards themselves so next trip I will take supplies and we’ll make cards. Also put a few military cards in the group. Do you think you could figure out some stamps for “silliness” Also some cute sayings would help. One that I have is “we’ve been through a lot together and most of it was your fault”. Can’t remember the company, but it fits a lot of birthday cards Thanks. Very impressed with your creativity.

Becca, I love your new stamp set! What a great idea! How does it feel to come up with an idea that no one else has thought of? I really could use this stamp set as I send out cards to relatives and people from church, to those that are ill and those in nursing homes quite regularly. Last week I sent out two birthday cards, a sympathy card and three get well and thinking of you cards. I would say that I send out at least 12 to 15 cards a month, maybe more. It depends on how many people I feel I can cheer up. It is something I love to do and boy, do I make a mess in my little craft room! I even love cleaning it up afterwards!

I LOVE this stamp set! You must have been up several days in a row with no sleep to get all these cards out to us! I am always looking for “just the right words” so this is PERFECT.
I usually send out about 3 to 6 cards a month; some months are more because of unexpected events in the lives of my family and friends. I’m just getting started so this is a very small number. I told my daughter a couple of days ago that my goal is to make one card a day! Now I just have to find the time. Hand made cards are always appreciated because of the thought that goes into them.

Your gracious heart and hard work are paying off. As to the number of cards I send every month, there’s no fixed number, but most of the time about one or two or even three.

I am responsible for sending birthday cards, anniversary cards, and Christmas cards from our household to family and friends. For the last three months I have been sending “Thinking of You” cards to a very special sister-in-law. Family and friends said their final farewell to her Saturday…she is giving her testimony in His Kingdom.

As the wife of a pastor, I am always sending out cards. Sometimes as many as 10 a week. These notecards would be wonderful to have on hand. What a blessing.
Just what the doctor ordered! These stamps are a wonderful idea. While I confess I don’t send out a lot of cards myself, I do make and donate 30 cards per month (5 packets of 6 cards) to the Sr. Citizen living center above where I work. They are used in the gift bags they draw for during their monthly party.
Depending on how many birthdays, anniversaries, graduations etc etc there are in a month, it always varies. I also make for my sister in law for birthdays. Love your new stamp sets. I’m sure we can look forward to something new from you on a regular basis.

I usually make 3-5 cards a week, more during certain holidays. Lately I have had a abundance of sympathy cards I have needed to make so I came up with a generic “sympathy card” I use and of course stamp “Made with love…..by Ann on the back. This way the person receiving knows that I had thoughts of them while I was creating it. I would absolutely love, love, love to wrin this set.

As always, your cards are stunning!!! I can think of so many ways to use these stamps. I only send out maybe 4 or 5 cards a month, but wish it were many more. We are planning a move, and all of my “stuff” is totally disorganized. Some is packed away, and some is in a different place than usual…Yuck! Boy, we ALL need your decipline…How wonderful to have your handy cards/inserts ready to pop into gift or simple envelope “right now.” Compared to you, my outgoing card total sounds awfully weak. Maybe six or eight in a month. Then there are the BIG months when everybody I know has a birthday or anniversary. All of us have those, right?

On an average month I send around 10 to family & friends for birthdays and anniversaries. I usually send another 5 to 10 Thinking of you and feel better cards. Then there are months like December where I have 22 birthdays and anniversaries in addition to the 80+ Christmas cards I send.
I also try to make 200 + cards to send to Operation Write Home throughout the year. Love your new sets and looking forward to using them.

I seem to send more cards than I make, because I find myself making cards for specific occaasions. — birthdays, weddings, sympathy and so on.

Great cards, Becca. I think it’s great that you were determined to use every stamp in the set. You go girl! My cards vary month by month. In an average month it could be 5-10. Then there are the holidays (December – 70+), Valentines, Thanksgiving, Easter, Spring, Summer, usually 25 or so. Then there are the days when I get motivated with a new idea or image(s) and I’ll get an extra bunch done and mailed. I’m looking forward to when I have all day to play – who knows what my numbers will be then!

I’m always searching for the right words to make the perfect sentiment on my cards so I can totally relate! Sometimes I just end up writing them myself which can be a pain. (wow, now I sound really lazy!)

I have a LARGE family so how many cards I send out depends on how many B-D, anniversaries, new babies etc. come up. It can be up to 25. My Dear Jim has been in the hosptial for the past 11 days, I’ve made him a card everyday and will until he comes home.

A great solution to a very common problem. I can’t think of anything you may have missed. Congratulations. I hold the “Sunshine” chair in a club I belong to, and it is my delight to send birthday greeting to all in their appropiate month, so I make a LOT of cards. I keep 3-4 dozen on hand, just in case “something” comes up that makes it hard from me to get to the craft room. Since I enjoy making cards, this gives me an outlet for them, and I always get a positive reaction. Works out “just swell”. (If you were to view any one of them, I know you would see some of your talent and inspiration in them. You certainly have a knack for teaching. Thanks for sharing).

I start each year making my lovely sister in law several cards each week. She is my biggest fan. So, I would send her a card just to check in. After a couple of months of this it seems life gets in the way and I start skipping weeks. I just sent out her Birthday card this past weekend and now I’m back into wanting to send more to her. So with birthdays and anniversaries and my checking in with sister in law I maybe send 7 – 10 cards.

Since I found it impossible to choose just one, I pre-ordfered all three of these marvelous stamps! As for how many cards I send out each month, it varies greatly by the month but with the exception of holiday months 5 or 6 is probably an average. Keeps me busy. I try to plan ahead for big holidays such as Christmas and Easter – and Valentines Day! :-)

I usually make 10 cards a day for a total of 310 a month, not including Christmas which is around 250. So yea, I make a lot of cards and they are all just given away, I do not make money off of them. I am also thinking of getting into the Military cards as well. especially for the family of the military personnel as it is not their choice to be drug all over the continent while their loved one is in the military, it is an especially hard life on families. My heart just goes out to them. Particularly the children, it is so hard to be uprooted every time you just get to making friends or just get settled into the routine. I am also thinking of Survivors of Abuse of any kind as I am a survivor of domestic abuse and sexual abuse.
I also suffer from Fibromyalgia, PTSD, Bi-polar, Depression, Asthma and COPD, just to name a few of my illnesses. So it is a true challenge for me just to sit up some days but creating cards for others is a great pick-me-up and it is a wonderful distraction from the pain I deal with on a 24/7/365 basis.
I am saving up my $5.00 a month I get so I can buy all of your stamp sets. They are truly lovely just as you are lovely,hun! May God continue to bless you richly and abundantly and I am not just talking money-wise although that would be lovely, too :o)

Oh….how many cards per month???? Well, those that get mailed, probably 6 to 10. However, I have a dear friend who just turned 75 years old who loves making cards and actually sells many cards in craft shows, her beauty salon, etc., so cards I actually make per month could be closer to 50+. When I used to send cards to the troops, even more. I work in my craft studio every day at least for a couple of hours. I’m in my own little world and it’s very relaxing for me. Since I had to retire earlier than planned, it’s been a new adventure for me and nothing I ever thought I could do. Thanks to designer like you, I have come to love cardmaking more and more every day. Thank you for all the iinspiration.

AAHHHHHHH!!! at long last–the perfect word set. so USEABLE!!! so often i’ll only need a few of a set i’ve purchased . this is perfect.
now, how many cards do i send out a month?? probably 12 to 15. i try to hand deliver most of them, that way i can make them as 3D as i want and not have to special wrap them for the post office. or pay all that extra postage.

Becca – these are all so lovely! What a versatile set! I have a huge family and am always making cards….maybe 20 a month. In Seattle you have to take the sun when it comes as we only have about a 6 week summer each year….it starts after the 4th of July and ends at the end of August with cooler temps…LOL!

This will be a FAV set for me for feminine cards; I have a similar older one, but in a much smaller font. LOVE the fonts/sizes in this set and that you can also use two or more ink colors, matching to the many beautiful DPs! GORGEOUS set full of SO MANY possibilities — a MUST HAVE for me!!!
I don’t send a LOT of card every month, but the winter months are most full of friends/family birthdays, so are my heaviest months, probably averaging 6-8 (not counting Christmas cards, of course)!!!

I don’t mail out near enough cards monthly, I usually send out about on the average 2-3 a month, but really I should do a whole lot more. It makes the reciever feel special and it makes me feel wonderful to make someone else feel special too.

I believe I make between 10 and 20 cards a month, depending on birthdays, etc. Now that I’ve done it for so many years, everyone expects a handmade card, and they tell me that they save all the cards I send. That makes me feel really good.

I don’t really send out too many cards each month. I try to stay with just ones to my loved ones and my dearest friends. I work full time and sometimes it’s all I can do to keep up with those. Maybe if I get to retire someday, I can make cards all day long, YEAH!!!
Love this set. I usually send out between 5-7 cards a month. I wish that I could send more but I am a night time worker and just don’t have the time to create much. My work gets in the way of creating. I must sleep sometime! Oh well, I can’t complain. My job gives me money for my obsession.

Your choice of words is great and the font is lovely for this stamp set! The number of cards I send each month varies. On average, I’d say that I make and send about 3 cards each month. Unfortunately, I have not had as much time as I’d like to spend on cardmaking and I usually make and send cards when they are needed. My goal is to make cards so that I always have some, on hand, for any occasion. Thanks for generously sharing your talent!

Love how you highlighted the versatility of this set – and hearing how you came up with it! So many times I spend too much time looking through my sentiment stamps looking for just the right phrase – great on you to keep track of the missing ones and design your own set!
As for how many cards a month? Hmmm, depends on the month. Some can be really high if there is a major “card day” occasion, can be typically between 20 and 30 based on how many cards I make each year (not counting Christmas of course).

As for the number of cards I send out in a month – it all depends on which month of the year. For Christmas I used to make/send over 150 cards – not nooooo more, maybe half that now. What with birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy, get well, thinking of you the number varies from 3-10 a month (of course that does not include Christmas). A doctor told me years ago to stop stamping because of the pain I live with/in…….I did not obey/listen….

Ooops, I got so excited about the stamps I forgot to answer the question again! Actually, I spend more time making cards for others to send than I do sending cards myself. I only send out one or two a month, but people are always asking me to make cards for them to send. I also have a small summer shop, to help pay the bills in the winter, so I have to keep that supplied as well. I try to make at least one card per day.

I have made some cards to sell, I have one regular customer. I also make about four or five different cards at Christmas to teach a class at church. I usually make the cards for all the ladies (about 150) birthdays at church and for my own family and friends. As there are six children (all married), 28 grandchildren (9 of whom are married) and 11 great-grandchildren, a sister and brother (with better halves) three nieces and two nephews, one Uncle still living and lots of cousins. Then the friends! That means I am making lots of cards every month. My guess is probably 25 or more each month. It is my joy and pleasure to create something beautiful to share! Of course, besides birthdays, there are also the anniversaries, Christmas, weddings, new babies, etc. as well.
WOW! I love all of these. You are quite a saleswoman! How on earth can I resist? Maybe I can’t! Hang on credit card!

I probably send out an average of about 2-4 per week. I tend to go in spurts…I may not send any for a week or two and then I send out a bunch. I make a lot of cards that have Scripture on them. Therefore, most of my cards are encouragement or Thinking of You type cards. I usually have a deficit when it comes to b’day cards.

I saw this set of stamps when I went to the JRS site and thought this will be a fabulous way of being able to formulate what I do ACTUALLY want to say and it’s all on ONE sheet. This is Fantastic Becca and will definitely be added to my collection in the near future. As to your question … I make a few cards (it keeps me sane! and gets the creative juices going!) that I sell at a local shop. I send a couple out each month to family and friends both here in Australia as well as overseas. I just love hearing their reactions when they tell me they have received them – warm and fuzzy goin’ on here!

You have included so many words in this set that can’t be found in other sets. Surely there is one to cover almost every situation! I don’t send a lot of cards (wish I sent more). I think in June, I created three cards, all rather intricate. One birthday, one wedding, and one anniversary. I keep a list of important birthdays and anniversaries taped to the outside of the cabinet door just above my work space, and that dictates how many I create.
Again, another wonderful, inspiring idea, born out of compassion for others and artful necessity! Thank you again for sharing!

I too am tired of always hunting down the right words or cutting apart stamps to be able to put down in the card, the order I want to say it, with the words I want to use. Thanks for the chance at the drawing. I make roughly 10 cards a month. Depends on Special needs, it can go up or down real easy. Usually up!

These are absolutely beautiful and each and every one of them to me are about my daughter Chloe. She is 26 and going through a really tough time with health and marriage breakdown. Just a beautiful set of words that describe everything without saying too much. Just love them all.

Like you I could never find just the right words when looking through all my stamp sets. Thanks for so beautifully solving that problem for me and countless others with this wonderful stamp set! I used to send quite a few cards out each month. Health issues (my own and those of family members) have kept me from creating cards for the last year. God has answered prayers and I now hope to be able to get back to my card making very shortly.
Love all your ideas and cards for this stamp set. This is the stamp set I really like. It is going on my wish list. Just lost my job due to closing so I have to watch my spending right now. Hopefully, I can talk one of my children into buying it for me for my Birthday in October. LOL

Hi Becca, I was going through a rough time, when it was my Birthday & had lost faith in my own abilities. My mum sent me a card full of adjectives just like these, which she had hand-written with her calligraphy pen. It meant so much to me. This stamp will enable us to do the same for others quickly & easily. Thank you so much.

Hey Becca, Thanks for the chance to win these stamps! The amount of cards I send out each month varies. It depends on the amount of people I know who are having birthdays or anniversaries that month. Then add the extras like get well and sympathy. This month I have only 2 so far. But last month… I had about 20! I never have extra cards! Even though I make two at a time from the same papers etc. I think I’ll be ahead, then in a few days, I have to use the 2nd one. But I think I’d rather make each one to suit the person it’s going to, Thanks again, Hugs Jess
This is embarrassing but I rarely send a card save for a ‘Thank You’ or ‘Sympathy’. However, I make 15 to 20 cards a month for our local library who sells them for a small fee to help pay for books. I enjoy it very much and they are appreciative of my effort.
Hi Becca; what a great idea with words…so useable and a lot more personal I think. I usually make batches of cards of around 15 then go off and do something else until they all run out. Most of the time though; I never seem to have the right one made when I need it, so usually burn the midnight oil to get one done for mailing the next day…lol!

I send about 10 cars per month personally, excluding Christmas. My card ministry group at church makes about 40 cards each month.

And another great idea on how to use a stamp set with words. I love this. I send out, on average, about 10 cards a month. Card sending is becoming a lost art with the e-mail and facebook thing. I know I LOVE to get a card in the mail, and if it’s hand-made… I especially cherish it. I make card sets for my friends and neighbors too.

My unfortunate answer is ZERO! The last year has been one of loss – my brother passed away unexpectedly with the responsibilities of settling his estate falling to me and my creative mojo has been faltering.
How I’ve wanted to re-dedicate myself to card making and perhaps this set it just the ticket … I hope so!

I am forever looking for the right word, the right phase, the right everything when I need to send out a card. The thesaurus is my best friend, so I don’t say the same thing over and over. These stamps would be put to such good use, I’d love to have them.
Most of my cards are for birthdays for the ladies that go to the same church as I do.. This new set would be so perfect for what I do.. this month I have 17 birthdays.. but it is normally only about 10

Regarding your question about the cards, I started a card ministry at my church in Novmber, 2011. We started by making cards for all 82 residents at a church sponsored nursing home. I am blessed to have 5 wonderful ladies helping with this ministry. Several months ago, our associate pastor asked if we would also start making cards for our homebound members. So we decided to create little 3×3″ note cards, decorated on one side and blank on the other side so that the church-attending members can write a little message to them. We have been overwhelmed by the response! Each Sunday, two different homebound members are chosen to receive anywhere from 20-40 notes in their decorated envelope. An Elder delivers these to their home. Their reaction to the notes has been wonderful, from tears of joy to surprise and happiness.
I don’t send out all that many cards each month but I do like to make each one really special. I save them up so that I always have something to hand. Stamps like these would really help to make my cards extra special. Thanks for the chance to win them.

As to how many cards I make, it depends on what they’re for. I would only send about half a dozen or so cards for family and friends each month, but I also make cards for the local oncology unit. They’re thank you cards for patients to give to friends and/or family who have helped them out in some way during their illness.
I also make cards for local charities for silent auctions from time to time.
All up I’d say at least two or three dozen cards a month.

i love your little enclosure cards!
i normally don’t send out a lot of cards…in fact, i don’t often make a card unless i need one right now! but lately, i have been making cards for operation write home, sending them to the soldiers in afghanistan and elsewhere so they have nice cards to write home on. it makes me happy and it causes me to stretch my crafting muscles a bit more than usual.
I could see getting a lot of use out of this set! On an average I send out about 6 cards a month. Keeps me busy creating!

I have been sewing all my life (sew it seems) and then became a quilter after my girls grew up. We had a lady who came to our quilt guild and she was also a stamper. I had never been so impressed with another hobby. She got me hooked and now I can’t get enough time in the day to dedicate to my two hobbies. When a friend told me about you on the Internet I was WOW – what a woman! Love what you do – it is so feminine and beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I just must have your stamps one way or another.
Ohhh Becca!!! So proud of you moving forward to design your own stamps. It used to be..”I have to have this because Becca uses it!”. But now it will be worse..”I have to have this because BECCA MADE IT!!!”. I know this new endeavor is going to be a lot of work but Becca you deserve all the importance that comes with being asked to do this!! I love your cards today. PInk is my6 color. The amount of cards I send depends on the month. If there is a holiday in the month, I can send out 20-25 (Christmas not included in that number). In months without a holiday, just a few. I so enjoy your blog. I have used your card ideas on many occassions and have received many compliments. Thanks Becca.

Beautiful projects Becca. You have such a wonderful creative gift that keeps us all in awe of the designs you come up with. Love this set!! It really depends on how many occasions arise as to how many I send out. I’d easily say 15 normally. But I also make cards and gift items that are for sale to put towards the women’s ministry in our church. There are many who can’t afford to go to the Women’s retreats, etc…and this project helps towards the the extra funds needed. New stamps for this project would be amazing.

Being new to this I hope I have got it right. To my understanding this comment is for day three of the contest. {I hope}? Because I like to emboss a stamp then water colour it. Then I use all the other stuff to enhance it. I don’t tend to make cards at the speed others do. While they make 100 a weekend, I tend to make one, two or three. LOLO. Just so deep in concentration and having fun, it is nothing for hours to fly by. Thank for your help and new ideas.
Already submitted my numbers. But just for fun – I’m going to make 3 cards tomorrow – have some fun ideas using punches!!! And I WILL get them in the mail too.
I think you did a fabulous job on the sentiments. I also hate not having just the right word or phrase for a card. Sometimes I think we settle for “almost right” instead of asking the stamp companies to maybe think about this event or phrase. Nice job and I’m loving that background set as well.

Great set of words Becca, very useful and versatile, Thank You! I spend so much time on the computer, checking out other’s beautiful work that with other household chores & a job I don’t make & send as many as I’d like. I usually make & send 0-2 a month (other than Christmas). I did finally finish Mom’s Day and Dad’s day cards late last month, then didn’t get them in the mail till this week…

These stamps are very very useful. They are so elegant. Of course, everything you make is. I send out quite a few cards per month, besides the stamp group I have been sending to for years, I have a couple of ATC swap groups, a few special stamp pals, and a few cards for charity gorups.The postman tells my hubby that I am one of his best “customers”!

I send at least 20 cards a month. I have 4 children and send them each a card every week to let them know I’m thinking about them. Then I also participate in some card swaps and send some for birthdays and RAKs.

These will come in so handy for me as I make 40 cards a month for the homebound at our chuch, 40 for the cancer center at our hospital, 50 for the childrens hospital and the ones for OWH and then all my friends, on the low end I make around 300 to the high end 500 a month in cards so I see that these will make it much easier to make them with all these saying .We are all so blessed to have you in our lives Becca, your an amazing women , can’t wait to see what company your name will pop up in next, oh I was on splitcoaststamper and your logo was on the top of the page how exciting your everywhere !!!

These sentiments are perfect when you wish to make a gift box filled with cards that the recipient can use when needed. I absolutely love the scrolly font, Becca. I send out on average about 10 cards per month. Of course at Christmas, that escalates to 110!

I love every thing I have seen so far. Can not wait to see your website each day. Your ideas are always inspiring. I make 20 cards each month for Gentiva Hospice Center patients and I do about 15 every other month for my church. We have a lady who sends out cards specifically froml the church and then all of the ladies send personal cards for those who need them…get well…cheer and encouragement, missed you today, etc. So I stay pretty busy and have to the creative juices flowing. But I love it …it is such a rewarding experience…..I love to create

So glad I got in just in the nick of time.These cards are sweet, sweet, sweet. Love them all but my fav is the one right in the center, “I admire you” Now, how many cards do I send out in a month varies greatly. I have a couple months out of the year that I have birthday’s day after day and many stacked on the same day, lol. But if I took all of them through out the year and averaged it out, I would say 10-13 (this does not include Christmas) I do make cards and sell them but I didn’t include those. Love your stamp sets, they are a great idea. Yikes, how many cards I make depends on how much time I get to craft – and lately that’s not much :(.

I forgot to put how many cards I send in a month 10-12 (my daughter is in Air Force overseas.)
I don’t usually send out very many cards, but I probably end up making about 30 to 40 in a year, but each month is quite drastically different, depending on the season or occasion. End of the school year here is quite a production for me as I do treat bags for my child’s class, plus cards for the teachers as well as gifts. Love your stamp sets and best of luck!

I send out a lot of cards over the year. I’m from a large family, so it seems that I need to make cards all the time to have them ready. I have 8 siblings,(and they’re all married). My Dad is still living. I have five children (all married), 18 grandchildren (oldest is17), and lots and lots of friends. I make cards for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, Valentines Day, graduations, weddings, new babies, personal losses, get wells and on and on. I also help my grandchildren make cards for their special friends and loved ones. They love using Nana’s cool stuff. What fun memories we’re making! We also make Christmas ornaments and other things (gifts for their friends) and all kinds of paper crafts. Congratulations on your new stamp sets. I think they are wonderful, especially the word set. I need to make the time to send out more cards! I get my birthday and holiday cards made but love to surprise somebody with a nice “no occasion” card too.

Love, love, love your new stamps. In the next one, could you (with the same beautiful calligraphy) do a “welcome”, please? I use “welcome” on lots of my baby cards and haven’t been able to find a beautiful one.

I make and send about 5 cards each month. I make flowers to put on almost every one of my cards and would say that my style and colors are the vintage and victorian. I need more sentimental sayings and looking on this site or get ideas on what I might order soon.
