Hey there my sweet crafty friends!! Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs December Release Blog Hop! (December already, can you believe it!?!!) Now, if you got here from Chris Olsen’s wonderful blog, you are in the right place! If not, you might want to start at the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog and hop from there! If you encounter any broken links – the entire hop list is posted on the ODBD Blog :-) All of the designers have fabulous eye candy to show and of course there are prizes to be had. This month offerings are fabulous – you can see them all HERE.
For my card today, I was aiming for a romantic look. This is one of my favorite sentiments, so I was tickled to be able to use it on a card – this one will get much use – its from the Simple Things set. Working with a Tattered Rose color and Gray I created a medallion by stacking Spellbinders™ Labels Twenty Two and layering on top Spellbinders™ Orchard Harvest Tags and Accents, then Spellbinders™ Labels Fourteen and finally Spellbinders™ Ornate Artisan Tags and Accents. In the end, just some of the color peeks out, which I love for the visual interest. Twirling up a rose from Spellbinders™ Spiral Blossoms One makes me smile – there’s just no way to go wrong with this die template :-) The curly flourishes are from Spellbinders™ Twisted Metal Tags and Accents. I use my Peg Bow Maker all the time but for this card I went with five wraps for a fluffy bow. Just in case you wonder how I send a card like this (people always ask, lol), check out my explanation here.

This is lovely..I love that bow you created.
Amazing , Breath taking, as always, I just love when I fall in love with a paper and I decided on a card that is deserving of it, it makes my heart sing just as you say.
Becca, What a beautiful card! Thanks for the inspiration…just might have to give this one a try!
We should follow our hearts shouldn’t we, rather than what fashion dictates or what others think? I too have a pack of velvet papers hidden away in my stash from years ago so I am just off to search it out. Love the card Becca and the very creative bow.
Absolutely gorgeous work again here Becca. Love that bow and the entire card is awesome.
What a lovely and festive bow! I wonder if you might know the whereabouts of Jerri Jimenez. She appears to be MIA since last May and I’ve missed her. I thought you might know if she’s alright.
Oh so pretty and oh so ‘Christmasy’.
Absolutely beautiful!
Your card is beautiful Becca. Love the DP and that beautiful bow makes your card look like a package all tied up with a pretty bow. As always Becca, TFS!!! :-D
This card is amazing Becca! I love the bow you created with the 2 different
types of paper. You have such wonderful talent, thanks for sharing it with us! :D
What a great card! That bow! What can I say? It’s terrific. What a lovely shot of Christmas on a dreary Monday morning. Thanks, Becca.

I hope this means your are feeling better and able to sit for longer periods of time. I know this must be a hard time of year for you but you are not alone. We are all here for you. It may not mean much but we love you and keep you in our prayers year round. God bless you and keep you!
So delightfully different for Christmas. I love the velvet ribbon in the center of the loopy flower, it draws the whole colour scheme together beautifully.
You are a very talented lady, thank you so much for all the inspiration. I am so pleased to have found your blog, I spend ages just looking through your archive. Take care. Linda (S.Wales, UK)
Hi Becca,
What a beautiful card. I love every part of it. I can’t stamp for a while because of the surgery. When I can I will try this card.
