Good morning friends!  Don’t forget that sales code I gave you yesterday, giving you 20% off of anything ordered at JustRite Stampers including sales items, is still valid.  At checkout JRBLOGTEAM in all caps will get you the discount until October 31st (not valid with any other codes).  Pretty neat . . .  savings off of all the new things we are showing and super savings off of all the $5.00$10.00 and discount deals while they are available.  In the mean time, welcome to day two of new releases with JustRite and the set debuting today is called Musical Notes Labels Twenty Two.

I’m always looking for something different to contain gift trinkets and I love for the container to be a part of the gift.  This Musical Notes set inspired me to make a box that I’ll be giving as a gift to a friend.  I’ve loaded it up with my favorite Bazzill Buttons.   The lid of the box is made with several layers of Spellbinders Labels Twenty.  In order to shape the body of the box I cut Spellbinders Classic Ovals LG to hold the body to a consistent oval shape.  I did the same thing with the upper part of the lid.  Just to give it a little bit of flair, I edged the lid with Spellbinders Classic Bracket Edgeabilties.

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: JustRite StampersMusical Notes (Labels Twenty)
Paper: Graphic 45 – Botanicabella, Bazzill, Neenah Classic Crest Cream
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Memento Tuxedo Black, Colorbox Burnt Umber Chalk Ink, Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink, Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Accessories: Spellbinders Classic Ovals LG, Spellbinders Labels Twenty, Spellbinders Classic Bracket Edgeabilities, Copic Markers, Recollections Pearls, ScorTape

Musical Notes is a stunning set, I hope you’ll look in on the other members of the Design Team that have goodies to show.

Good morning friends!!  First things first, before I get into my card for today . . . JustRite  would like to say thank you to all of our loyal blog fans!!  JustRite appreciates each and everyone who visits and reads our post.  As their way of saying thank you the blog team has an exclusive coupon code for our blog readers and facebook fans.  Simply use the code JRBLOGTEAM (use all CAPS) during check out to receive 20% off your entire order including sale items.  The Coupon Code expires October 31st and can not be combined with any other Coupon Code offers.   There’s tons of sales stuff HERE.

Today marks the first day of new releases for JustRite Stampers.  This sweet set had a light yet vintage feel for me, so I dug into my color box to come up with the right colors.  Pink Paislee Nantucket had the right feel for me and I thought the flowers on the design paper were a pretty good match.  I cut two Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Squares and made them frames by using Spellbinders Classic Squares SM.  They were combined by snipping the ends off to make a large rectangle.  I masked my cuts by crossing over with my ribbon :-).  I cut my focal image from Spellbinders Eyelet Circles then popped up an additional layer by cutting with Spellbinders Standard Circles SM.  For the small amount of coloring, I used my colored pencils.

There are four days of previews for new sets debuting on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week.  Hope you’ll stop back to see what’s new!

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: JustRite Stampers – Botanical Butterflies
Paper: Pink Paislee – Nantucket, Coredinations – Monaco
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, CTMH Crystal Blue
Accessories: Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Squares, Spellbinders Eyelet Circles, Spellbinders Classic Squares SM, Spellbinders Classic Circles SM, Lace, Seam Binding, Zva Creative Pearls, Colored Pencils

Quite a few of the other Design Team members have goodies to show too.  Hope you can stop by and take a look.

I love your card and I got my Butterfly set today. Now I am wondering if there is a trick to getting the circles cut out just right. I would appreciate any information that you are willing to give me. Do you stamp it before or after die cutting the circles?ReplyCancel

Hi there blog friends!  In my quest to reconstruct my new (in box laying on the floor since April) bookcase where it should be, my little house is turned upside down.  If you have ever played that sliding number puzzle where you have to get the numbers lined up consecutively in the square, moving them space by space, then you would be well acquainted with exactly how crazy it is to move a large piece of furniture in my house. . That’s the reason the picture of my card is taken with real light today, because my light tent and lights are not reachable.  So yes, I managed to reconstruct the bookcase (even if it did take me forever).  I’m so checking that one off of my list!  I do have a Christmas card to share today made using the Joy Tree set from Our Daily Bread Designs.

I used Spellbinders Nested Lacey Pennants and Nested Pennants to cut out and frame the tree.  They were not an exact fit but can be trimmed down to size. For the background I used Spellbinders Creative Book Pages for my bottom layer then added Spellbinders Grand Circles backed by Spellbinders Grand Big Scalloped Circle for an off center element.  I topped the tree off with a Jennie Bowlin Doily Flower and also snatched the opportunity to use some of my dark lace.

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: Our Daily Bread DesignsJoy Tree
Paper: Authentique, Bazzill
Ink:Versafine Onyx Black, Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Accessories: Spellbinders Grand Circles, Spellbinders Grand Big Scalloped Circles, Spellbinders Nested Pennants, Spellbinders Nested Lacey Pennants, Spellbinders Creative Book Pages, Jenny Bownlin Doily Flower, Lace, grosgrain ribbon, Recollections Pearls

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Hopefully tomorrow I can get a couple of things put back in place so I don’t feel so much like a fish out of water.  Hope you had a fab weekend friends!!

Your blog is my favorite and I love your card creations. Your steep learning curve occurring while constructing a very large storage unit reminds me of my first year of widowhood. I took on all kinds of challenging projects to keep my mind and hands busy. I even had some remodeling done so I would have something to focus on. The year passed in a busy blur designed to keep my grief manageable. It has been eight years for me, and I still miss my husband every day. Sending you thoughts of encouragement, peace, and support as the anniversary of your loss approaches.ReplyCancel

I have had to put together many pieces of furniture in my life time, some easy , some I have had to keep myself from saying a few “explecives” before it was over and done with but when it is done , and where it is suppose to be , I always am glad I did it. I guess most things worth doing are hard and I guess that is a blessing in itself as it makes us realize how fragile we really are and how much we really need God. Not just for the big stuff but for the everyday things too. By the way, the card was beautiful . You are such an inspiration to so many people. I am not just talking about the card making but to see you go on with such a great attitude , hardly ever complaining, with all the things you have had to deal with, well, it just reminds me and so many others out there that if you can do it with a smile , so should we. I think about all the people in the Bible and I think just about all the great names in there had to go through many trials and tribulations and still God was with them and loved them enough to know that is what they needed to go through. He allowed them to travel the roads they needed to go on because He loved them so much. He didn’t take all the trials away because He knew that is what they needed to go through to get closer to the image God wanted them to be. Trials and tribulations are a blessing. They hurt, but they are proof God loves us. All my best to you , my friend…….. God bless……. DeniceReplyCancel

LOL…Becca, I soooo feel your pain! My house has the same floor plan! But what a beautiful card you made! I’m still oooh-ing and ahhh-ing. Your creativity continues to soar, in spite of the space limitations you work in! Love & Blessings to you, Girl, you’re my Hero ;DReplyCancel

Love your Christmas Card. My house is turned upside down with most of everything we owe in a pod in the front yard right now. Hopefully, one day it will all be back to normal. Hang in there! I am about to be finished with the downstairs and I have finally found my stamping desk and have organized my craft closet. It is the most organized I have ever had it. That is the sweet reward!ReplyCancel
