Hi there blog friends. I’ve had this card on my table almost finished for a week but was trying to find a time to squeeze it in, lol!! You’ve probably seen bits and pieces of these elements on some of my other cards for this week, but that’s kind of how it goes for me. When something is laying out, it stays in the forefront. This is one of the great new sentiments from this months Our Daily Bread Designs release called Apple Seed and the border is from Scrolly Borders.
I layered Spellbinders™ Lotus Pendant behind Labels Twenty Three with my sentiment and border stamped directly on the design paper then added two Nested Apples on top. The edge of my main panel is bordered with Lace Doily Accents. That’s all for me until later!!

I’ll be back tomorrow afternoon for the Walzingmouse Blog Waltz with the last of the new releases and a chance for blog candy hidden among the design team members. Hope to see you then!!
Hello there blog friends!! Thank you so much for the words of encouragement on joining the design team of Waltzingmouse Stamps. Did you surf around to see all the creations from the other Design Team Members? Beautiful creations, yah? Well today we’re moving along to a new set called Say it Loud-Autumn/Winter – I don’t think I could even begin to count the combination of words, phrases and sentiment this set will be able to make!! I skipped right to Christmas to make a traditional style card that has a couple of layers, but for me is really clean and simple. Remember, this is only Day Two of our release previews and there are two more days to come!
I stacked up a couple of Spellbinders die templates to get the lacey look on my medallion. Starting with a base of Spellbinders™ Labels Sixteen, I added Spellbinders™ Holly Motifs and colored the leaves with a colored pencil while in the die template. I then added Spellbinders™ Lacey Circles and topped off with Spellbinders™ Standard Circles LG. For my card base I cut the border from Spellbinders™ Lace Doily Accents and stitched it to the bottom of my card – I think that must be my favorite border these days!!

More of Waltzingmouse Stamps AMAZING Design Team have creations for made up using the new sets. Hope you can stop by and see:
Have a blessed day friends! I’ll see you soon!
For me to have been so quiet, you must have known that I was up to something mischievous! Oh my word, it’s been so hard to keep silent, resisting the urge to give even a tiny little hint. Well today, I can let the proverbial cat out of the bag! Every now and again you come across a company that clicks with you. What I mean is everything they make is right up your alley; fits you like a glove; you wonder if they are reading your mind. Well, this certain company was seriously compromising my budget. Every month I found myself looking at the clock and waiting for their release so that I could snag those treasures before they were all gone. I admit this . . . I do!! You cannot imagine the excitement when I opened up the email asking if I wanted to join in. I.Had.A.Hissy.Fit – the good kind :-) So today, I’m joining the rest of the Waltzingmouse Stamps Design Team – with two other new members, Clare Buswell and Kelly Schirmer!! So, this is Day One of four days of previews, culminating in the release of four fabulous sets of stamps!! I’m thrilled beyond words to be able to share a new set in the September Waltzingmouse release called A Cottage Home that will be released on September 19th. Now, when Claire showed this set, I immediately knew what I wanted to make – a house warming card which includes a gift card. I have to show quite a few pictures to help you see all that’s included. The exterior is very calm and all the goodies are all on the inside – this is what unfolds :-)
Here’s how it looks when it’s opened up or closed down.
The roof opens up and I have a little pocket on the inside of the house that holds a gift card. I have a tassel attached so that it can simply be pulled and the gift card will come out :-) It was easy to put a hole in the gift card with a Japanese screw punch.
Here’s one last shot of the face of the card, up close.
The card is quite large 7″ wide by 6.5″ tall, but I needed it to be that way to fit the gift card. To send it out, I’m sure I would construct a shallow box. This was seriously a fun project! I see soooo many uses for this sweet little house.

While this card is beautiful, just like all the others you make…I am always
amazed at how you manage to pick the perfect accessories to place in the
