The project I’m sharing with you today is an altered tin that I’ve filled with post cards. I picked the tin up at my local Borders that’s going out of business, for next to nothing — so you know that made my heart sing!! I printed off some Websters Pages digital post cards – for those of you who don’t do digital, it’s just as easy to do them manually with papers you already have! For the inside of the tin, I simply lined with paper using an extra long length to give me enough room to score an additional 3/4″ for a small divider. On the other side of the divider I could put a writing pen and could easily add a roll of stamps (hmmm, that’s something I have seen in a long time).
There are a total of 30 postcards inside the tin – 3 each of 10 different styles. I put ribbon around each style so that they’d be easy to find.
For this project I had lots of wonderful elements from each of these amazing companies to use to give the tin dimension. I started out with a base to cover the clear windowed lid – on top of the base I added Spellbinders™ Labels Twenty Three. To build further I used a wonderful Want2Scrap™ Nestaboard™ Lacey Oval and cut a Spellbinders™ Lacey Oval from design paper to layer over the chipboard element – a perfect match!! Now for the bling — I used Want2Scrap™ Nestabling™ Lacey Ovals in Mossy Pearl (love that color) – another perfect fit – even in each scallop! Add on top of that – Spellbinders™ Lace Doily Accents. Then onto Spellbinders™ Classic Ovals LG I stamped this wonderfully elegant Fleur de Lis from the new JustRite Stampers Cling sets called Bon Voyage and popped up an additional Fleur, stamped with a different color and edged with a copic marker. I used a graceful swirly element Want2Scrap™ Swirls Finesse Pearls to pull pearls over to the right side of my tin lid. Everything works together so well that it made my project a breeze to put together. Here’s my supply list.

LOVE the design on this card. Gorgeous as always Becca!!!
Thanks for the inspiration. I am definitely going to use this ide.
Hello, this is my very first visit to your blog. I am loving your cards and hope to visit often. Greetings from Norfolk, England.
Blessing to you today, Becca! I watched a lot of 911 remembrance programs yesterday too; breaks our hearts all over again and like you cannot even begin to imagine how the families who lost loved ones must feel.
What a gorgeous, unique card you’ve shared today! I cannot imagine ever getting “rid of” my Nesties of any age, though I imagine IF I had all the newest latest and greatest, “maybe” I could remove some older ones to a less-handy location?!!! I’m just sooo attached to all of them–LOL!
You R soooooo creative when it comes to the use of ribbon and lace.
Love your stick pins as well. Like what you have done here as well.
Your quite the inspiration 2 us all.
Thank U Becca.

I always feel better when I take the time to organize my craft area. There’s nothing more annoying than spending more time looking for supplies than crafting. I love your use of the circles. I had been considering buying them, and this helped me decide. Weaving the sentiment between them makes it look completely unlike 3 circles.
Thanks for sharing.
Stunning, as usual ;)! Very elegant!
I love coming to your blog to view all of your creations. Each one is so beautiful.
I watched a lot of the coverage of 911 yesterday as well and I was struck by the same feelings you had Becca. It was hard to see it again and I can’t imagine how the families of those who directly lost someone could watch that over and over.
This card is absolutely fabulous! Your use of that sentiment banner woven in through the circles is so innovative!
I love your card. It is so true of friendship, that it just hugs you and binds two or more people together. I am blessed to have found your blog. You are such an inspiration to me.
With all the cards you make, it’s amazing that you do not duplicate previous designs. You keep renewing yourself with resulting fresh creations. It’s truly a marvel and the nicest thing about it, is that you are kind enough to share it with us mere mortals.
What really grabbed my interested in this card was the three circles, the banner and the ribbon treatment. Imagine … thinking up this. It’s brilliant and beautiful.
What an incredible layout! As usual, you outdo yourself!
Now isn’t this one pretty. Nice job Becca, I love how you weaved the ribbon in and out of the die-cuts, very unique. Love the stick-pin too. Beautiful work. As always Becca, TFS!!! :-D
BEAUTIFUL Becca!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE how you did the ribbon on this! On my computer, your card looks a deep gold, not green at all!!!!!!!!! But, I DO UNDERSTAND about the green thing! I tend to grab it too!!!!!!!! :)
I love how you did the sentiment… very cool for a sentiment that can be divided. As always, great card design.
Ah, Becca, this is lovely! Don’t you love that long crystal? I have some of those but I see that you took the head pin out and placed it on a decorated pin… Love that!
Well aren’t you the clever one!! This is really beyond creative Becca. You would make a wonderful design engineer but don’t get any ideas cause we love all the inspiration you bring to us here. Love this so much. I want your stash of lace or stores that you are able to find these in. I never find the beautiful selection that you have were you live. Craft items are so hard to find here in San Diego. When I lived in No. California we had so many craft and fabric stores to choose from. Really miss that. I am just thankful for the internet. It really helps. Have a great week.

Even though I watched and watched in 2001, I couldn’t bring myself to watch any of the memorials–I had purchased one of the large memorial magazines last week and just looking at the photos had me crying.
Love this card–again. You certainly have a huge talent and I appreciate your sharing so much! I am so glad that I discovered your art (just this last weekend!)
Organization! What is THAT? Do you rent yourself out to come do all that in MY mess? Good for you!
Stunning! I Love the interlocking circles and well everything.
Blessings Bernie
WOW….this is sooo beautiful…..your creations really has shown me another way to display a creative style of making cards without necessarily using cricut cartridges….and your cards are also very classy….keep the great ideas coming.
So much beautiful detail! I’m glad you point some of them out. I would miss them otherwise, even though I try to study and count all the elments to see what I can learn. . .a lot! TFS!
Hi Becca – beautiful and oh how imaginative! Thank you. Blessings.
Love the way you used your ribbon/sentiment to anchor the 3 picot circles! Awhile ago you said that you were working on a new bow…how’s it coming along?? Glad that you’re happy with the way that your studio cleanout/up is going. I really need to do that, but I keep getting distracted and making cards instead! Besides I’m half afraid that if I clean it all up and organize it I’ll never find anything again! It may be messy, but believe it or not I know where 98% of everything is!

I just don’t know how you keep getting these ideas, this is a wonderful creation! Just “shows to go ya”, use your imagination.

Lovely! I’m so inspired! I just love how you overlapped those circles. The entire effect is so creative. Thank you so much, Becca.
This card is so beautiful. Where do you buy the gorgeous lace you always have?
I haven’t commented in a long time but, I come every single day to check your amazing blog. (So aptly named because you have a gift with paper!!!) I had to comment today! Amazing, awesome, wonderful, beautiful, creative beyond words!!!! Becca I don’t know how you keep coming up with such unique ways to use your spellbinders and ribbon and paper and embellishments and….
Beautiful, as always! Love the lace. and hugs back
I wish so much you are my neighbor…I have so much to learn from you. you are a perfect mentor. Merci beaucoup.
I too spent a while thinking about 9/11. I was in your country at the time and at 9.00am one morning we were going out for breakfast and had the radio on in the car and then we heard the words “America is at war” repeated over and over again….we could only look at each other in disbelief! and then we heard what had happened….what a cold chill went through us! It took another five days to get us out of the country and flown back home to the U.K. in the company of a Jet Fighter plane….so frightening…..at least we got home, so many people didn’t and our thought still go out to the families of those who perished.
I have those spellbinder dies you have used on this card but have never used them like you have, I will do that next time I use them….thank you for the inspiration Becca.

Sometimes when I look at a card you’ve made, that’s all I can do. I’m left speechless by the beautiful intricate details. This is one of those times. Gorgeous! Keep using that green!!! My fav color! :D
gorgeous layout, love the weaving of the ribbon!
That is one more beautiful card! Love your techique attaching the dies with ribbon! FABULOUS!
I like how you join/”connect” little parts of the card together. Really lovely :)
Becca, love your card. The ribbon is to die for!! Did you make the bow using the figure eight loop method?
