As promised, the winner for the Girls Paperie Paper is up now.  By the way, several of you asked about the pink card with the silhouette of the girl, which is made using the Paperie Paper.  The girl is indeed a stamp and here is a link to the original post: (https://www.amazingpapergrace.com/pink-i-could-not-forsake-you/).  All of my supplies are listed in the post.  I apologize for not linking them when I was showing them.

Using Random.org, a number was picked that matched the comment below:

Reach out to me through the contact tab at the top of the web page with your mailing address, and I’ll make sure these get in my next post office run.  If not claimed within 48 hours, I’ll use random.org to pick another winner :-)

Now, on another note.  Thank you all so much for your kind words yesterday about my project using the Flea Market Paper – it is indeed an amazing collection.  (Wish I could buy it by the sheet…my favorite is the tiny roses).  I think I blushed when I saw how many of you went over.  How blessed I am!!  It’s been a tough year but you all have lifted my spirits more than you know and your positive words fill me with optimism. I frequently find myself speechless! It’s an honor to craft with you all every day!

Hi there blog friends, Do you have the internal tug of war with yourself every year like I do?  I always want to get started on Christmas early so that when the holiday actually arrives, everything is done and I’m doing nothing but leisurely holiday lounging.  Right!  It seems that before I know it, I look up and the day I was supposed to be planning for is here. I’ll keep trying!!    I’m happy that JustRite Stampers is beginning to release Christmas images so I can get a head start.  My card today uses a new JustRite Stampers set called Peace on Earth. I factored in once of the beautiful set from earlier this year because it fit so well – I’m using the frame from Elegant Frames.  One down, quite a few more to go!

The gold frame is from an Anna Griffin design paper pack and I layered on it two K & Co papers that I cut with Spellbinders Grand Labels Four which I topped with a hand cut rectangle stamped with Elegant Frames.  Then I cut out my border with Spellbinders Classic Ovals SM.  I layered on some accordian folded crepe paper before my main layer and sentiment.  Yes, my ribbon is really, really red (and apparently it really wreaks havoc with the sensors on my camera – I have that happent with a couple of colors).  Lol, getting used to Christmas colors will take me a minute.  In the meantime I hope the Spirit of the Season finds it’s way to you early!

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: JustRite StampersPeace on Earth, Elegant Frames
Paper: Anna Griffin, K & Co,
Ink: Colorbox Chalk Ink – Chestnut Roan, Warm Red, Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Accessories: Spellbinders Labels Six, Spellbinders Grand Labels Four, Spellbinders Classic Ovals SM, crepe paper, Paper Studio Brad, pearls

There’s more JustRite goodness to see :-)  You can check in with these DT Members to see:

Thanks so much for peeking in today.  I hope you’re working on something fun today too!

This is stunning Becca! I know I say that every time, but I can not help myself. :) You seem to always pick the right paper and right shapes. I always think I will be ready for the Holidays, but somehow never get there….maybe because I have Anniversary, B’Day, and Christmas all starting 12/22 (My “ABC” week), but I really am starting early this year.
The best idea I ever completed was several years ago when I made 10 Christmas cards each month, beginning with March, so by August I had 60 cards, started addressing envelopes….then wrote my messages closer to the Holidays…and all were mailed by the first week in December. I am NOT that organized this year, BUT
seeing this beautiful card today has really inspired me.
Thank you for all of the beautiful cards you share with all of us!!!!!

Another exquisite card. Love that RED ribbon. I admire you for getting such an early start on Christmas. I am sure everyone on your list looks forward to receiving such a lovely card. My list is so long I only send out hand crafted Christmas cards to very close friends and immediate family, in other words people I know will appreciate them. The rest get a store bought card which I may or may not embellish time permitting.

Oh Becca…I love seeing Christmas cards any time of the year. Last year I was so behind, that I promised myself that I would make just one a week…then I’d be way ahead of the game. Well…it’s June, and guess what…none are ready. This is just what I need to get myself motivated to at the very least start now! I’ve been so busy with birthday and retirement cards that I’ve had little time left. I have been dubbed the card maker for my office, and believe me…that keeps me pretty busy :)

One of the cutest papers I’ve been using since the spring is called Flea Market and I was so tickled to have been contacted by the manufacturer to ask if they could show one of my projects, on their company blog.   So many of you asked about that paper, and several people asked me to provide the sku numbers so that they could locate it.

Colorbok is running a post showing cute things that several folks have made with the Flea Market line.   It sure makes for a nice little showcase and if you’d like to see, their post is: http://colorbok.typepad.com/colorbok/2011/06/flea-market-around-the-web.html If you do visit, and don’t mind, please let them know I sent ya!!   Oh, my original post is at this link: https://www.amazingpapergrace.com/happy-easter-3/

You know how we always say it’s such a small world.  Well, blog land is pleasantly even smaller :-)

Take care friends.  I’ll be back in the morning with a post at 9am and I’m switching the color palette again!  Big switch!!  I have new JustRite Stamps to show!

Here’s what I wrote at their blog (following YOUR link):

Have been seeing the fantastically talented Becca Feeken using this lovely fleamarket paper all summer. Have tried to find it at JoAnn’s online, as no store close to my locality. Please put a link on your blog telling us how to buy it. And thank Miss Becca for showcasing this paper in so many wonderful projects recently.

Glad to oblige, and thank you. I hope this helps YOU and I hope it will help the rest of us in locating this paper! TFS. As always, we appreciate you.ReplyCancel

Your projects are always so beautiful, so when we see what you do, we all want to know what products are you using and how can we get some! These are beautiful papers, and like you, I loved those little flowers! I have seen products in the store and didn’t think much about them, until I checked out your blog and see what beauty that you create! More than once, I have gone back out and purchased what you showcased, mostly because you create such beautiful projects!ReplyCancel
