As you know, I totally adore this paper so it’s been fun to give it away.  I’m trying my best to work though it before the upcoming CHA when there will be another hot paper.  Here are a couple of cards I made with it . . .

I have a set that includes twelve double sided sheets to be sent to one winner that I’ll pick by random.org.   Just leave a comment on this post and on Tuesday night, June 7th, I’ll pick a winner to send this to.   Feel free to leave a comment each day.  (Comments do not show immediately).  If you have not seen them before, here are what the papers look like.

I’m inspired by all the feedback I’ve gotten this week.  I’m streamlining what I do and working to free up more time to do the blogging things I like best.  It wouldn’t have been possible without your feedback and I want you all to know how grateful I am!!  I’ll be back in the morning!

I am happy you are going to just concentrate on what you do best and that is creating amazing cards! I for one would hate to see you wear yourself to a frazzle trying to keep up with unimportant things. To use your valuable creative time to put on twitter that you found the glue you misplaced is a waste of time.

Why is it that no matter how much paper one has, you always see that new sheet that is too special to pass by. Hope this set can become a part of my ‘VERY BEST PAPERS’ pile–the ones I’m afraid to use because they are too wonderful to part with. Thanks for all you give, Becca, especially the inspiration.ReplyCancel

Okay now it´s my last chance to enter for a chance to win this gorgeous paper here, I´ve been wonderting Beccathe first card you show here on this page, the black silouette girl is that a stamp or a diecut made with a Cricut or something like that? It´s really gorgeous and I´ve been trying several time, if I could see, how you made that, but I just can´t see it for sure, so I hope, you´ll answer this question for me? All your cards here are stunning, but I have just fallen in love with ths black girl, and don´t ask me why, cause I can´t say, just have ha ha ha. She´s beautiful and sooo perfect for this wonderful paper here.

Hi there blog friends.  Today I’m participating in a Blog Hop called Craft it Forward.  This is right up my alley and I hope you’ll take a second to see how you can participate.  There’s a page of all the challenges, prizes and activities at Craft-it-Forward. Craft it Forward is sponsored by Better Homes and Gardens – Scrapbooks, Etc and is an encouragement to use crafting for good in the community.  This month the project is a Patriotic Thank You card for the troops . . . you had me at hello!! The card above is my take on the monthly project.

There’s a list of designers who have taken on the challenge (Blog Hop List Here) and each have taken a source project as inspiration and created a new patriotic card.  If you want to get involved all you have to do is make your own card go the Craft It Forward  gallery and post a photo of it for a chance to win $500 for you and another $500 for the charity of your choice!

With patriotic colors and a lot of my touches,  I used several of my favorite Spellbinders die templates — as usual you can find my supplies list below.  In the mean time I need to pass you along to the next person along the hop, just click on the name below to get to your next stop with:

Beth Pingry

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: Studio G
Paper: The Paper Company – Classic Red, Bazzill – Blue, Xpedx Brilliant White Cardstock
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black

Thanks so much for stopping by.  See ya soon and remember, Craft it Forward!

Oh, Becca, what a truly amazing patriotic card! I absolutely LOVE it (no surprise there, as I love everything you make)! I’ve made cards for our troops and have always shied away from putting ribbon and flowers on them (thinking the guys would think they’re not masculine enough) – but, you’ve really made a card that any soldier would be honored to receive. LOVE that little flag pin waving at the top! (Where DID you find it?) Thank you so much for sharing with us.ReplyCancel

Thank you so much for the tutorial Perfect Mitered Frame. I mean really thank you. Do you know I went out and purchased a geometry set when I first attempted this technique last summer. I had not used a compass nor protractor since high school many decades ago. I still ended up with a lopsided parallelogram instead of the square I was shooting for.

I can’t wait to get home and attempt this again, following your tutorial. I’m so grateful to you.ReplyCancel

Wow what an amazing card and technique. Thank you so much for Sharing this with us :-)ReplyCancel

Scroll down to the next post if you following the Our Daily Bread Blog Hop and want to enter for the Blog Candy.

You will absolutely squeal when you see how easy this is.  Really, I promise!  So many of you asked me to show you how I created the mitered frame used on this card; so I took a break to put together the video.  I knew this would be short and sweet, and with this under your belt, what can’t you do paper diva?  So I hope you have a couple of minutes to learn something new, quick and easy, moreover, I hope you’re able to put it to use on an upcoming card.

I’m hopping along in a special blog hop tomorrow morning so I hope to see you then.   Take care friends!!

I had my two-cents worth attached to my comments on an another of your projects. I was thrilled to bits to see how you did this, Becca. I’ve wrestled with it since seeing a similar technique of yours last summer. Here it is again, in case you missed it.
