I selected a new stamp that I haven’t shown yet called What You Leave Behind. Although it can be used as a sympathy sentiment I think I’m more prone to use it in my scrapbooking and as a reminder that legacy building begins while you are here – that’s what it means to me anyways. It’s a beautifully penned sentiment. I picked some distressed looking papers from My Minds Eye that had a punch of red glitter and created a frame using Spellbinders Labels Sixteen and Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Squares. The remainder of the card is built on a base of Spellbinders Grand Large Labels and Spellbinders Grand Labels Eleven.

Oh my, that was definitely a toss up between Copics and new die cuts.
a tough choice! Normally, I would spend some on dies and some on card stock or designer paper. Can’t live without both. I just won a $20 gift voucher to an online craft shop, so this particular question is bugging my head now (… a happy bug though..lol).
Boy, that was hard. Went for Die Cuts in the end, but to be honest, I probably would have got a bit from each…lol! :)
Well this one is easy for me since I have my eye on a new die cut that is coming out!!!
Indeed a challenge! $90 to spend guilt-free. Hmmm… Core crafting tools for me, tho after crafting for a number of decades I do have most of the ones I’ve lusted after. But they always seem to come up with something new that calls my name. Come to think of it, perhaps that $90 should be the seed money towards saving to expand my crafts room!
Needed a option for “all of the above”
PHEW this one was really tuff, as I would so love to get some of all of it he he he. There´s sooo many awesome things outthere, that I want so badly and never enough money to get, what I want LOL, so it´s always the same every time, what do you want most ha ha ha. I ended with the dies, as they´re the most expensive, and it´s easier to buy a few embellisment or pieces of ribbon now and then than to buy a lot of diws, so that´s why I chose them, but I would LOVE some of all of these things mentioned and even more he he he.
Have a great day dear friends.
This was actually easy for me. I said Core Crafter Tools which for me would be a Cuttlebug.
Blessings Bernie
I don’t need to think toomuch on this one Becca as I know I would use it for the new Spellbinders dies. I want them all!! LOL!
Love Sheila xx
that was a cruel poll- hard to make a choice
Boy was that a toughie!!! I chose the die cut templates because I have a list as long as my arm of the new ones that came out that I would love to have :)
i would head right to the Spellbinders Nestibilites and grab some of the new Grand sizes!
Hugs, Barbara in South Carolina
Spellbinder Dies would be my choice but it would be nice to have some Copics too.
I said Die Cut templates since I do not have any of the new Spellbinder sets, and none on pre-order.
I have more than $90 worth of sets on my wish list LOL
However, my craft budget tells me I need to be patient so I can buy them with a coupon or at a large discount and free shipping from an on-line business.
Wow that is hard I would have to say some Heartfelt Creations stamps and matching spellbinders dies!
Great question Becca … now all I need is the $90!
Tough decision…almost impossible to resist new stamps, but I think my paper/cardstock stash is needing some restocking! What a great question!
Needed a place to click “all of the above.” I’d wait until I had a coupon or two or more … 25% your entire purchase …. 50% off one item only … Shop a variety of stores to make that $90 more like $160. Then I’d buy some Copic markers, some dies, some paper, some embellies, etc.
On Saturday I went on a spree at Michael’s just like this. Wound up with 2 bags full of all sorts of goodies, and it was just $60. Some of the items I purchased had been seriously marked down (90% off) and then take 25% off of total purchase. I got some of the cutest journals for embellishing later for just $.07 … that’s right 7 cents!!
YAY!!!!!!!!
Definitely a hard choice! Dies are top of my list with new stamps a close second!
So many new die cuts out there I’d love to have them all. But that would be a lot of $$$. Yes dies are so mun to work with.
hard choice for the poll ! split it up and go to my favorite paper craft store!
Very easy for me…my hubby cut me off from buying so…die cuts would be the first for me as I have the Big Shot and with all the new dies out..hey it was easy to answer!! Loveeeeee blog candy and NO GUILT!
This is very easy for me. I have a Wizard and so many dies for it but I also own a Grand Calibur and nary a die. You guessed it, grand dies. Yea!
Hugs, Jeanielou in PA
This is an easy answer–more spellbinders dies so easy to use and such a nice look
hugs
I just bought a Grand Calibur, a purchase I tried to resist for months, but finally used my 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby. Now I need to save up so I can buy some of the Grand dies.
I had to laugh when I saw the new poll. Four days ago I actually did have $90 to spend on crafts. At first I thought I was buying stamps, so I went on-line, put them in my cart, and just before I committed to the buy, I backed out and started searching the web to make sure it was what I REALLY wanted. I started by looking at different companies that I’ve seen highlighted on blogs to pick just the right stamps, but of course, that led to checking out new Spellbinders dies, which led to paper, ink, tools, etc. Yesterday, after three agonizing days of indecision, I finally settled on stamps (from a different company than my original choice) and a Distrezz-It-All. I was satisfied for about 15 minutes, then started re-thinking everything, wondering if I should have bought something else! Am I crazy, or it is that hard for everyone??? ;)
No contest in my choice. Die cut plates. Then papers. I get excited just looking at the shapes of the dies and the papers….well I can go crazy over the papers.
New Spellbinders dies with Heartfelt matching stamps, an easy choice for me. There seem to be a number of other companies coming out with stamps that go with the Nesties as well so I would add that to my top list. I am going to the Heirloom Allentown, PA fair this weekend with my $100 so this question is looming large right now to see how far I can make it stretch and still get what I think I am looking for. Bound to be things there I can’t live without that are not listed above.
Easy Choice… Spellbinders newer dies. Need way more to layer them like you do to make beautiful cards!!!!!!!!
My three go to’s are Spellbinders, Justrite Stamps and Heartfelt Creations. But then again I LOVE paper, enbellies, ribbon, and bling!!! O my,this is really hard on the brain. Guess it’s kinda like a kid in a candy or toy store. Do we EVER grow up? Sometimes I just have to pull back and think about what is really important. Yes, I have taken things out of my cart more than once ( even items that have been a “good deal”). It really is so easy to get caught up in thinking I need more and forgetting about some of what I already have and thought I needed at the time. It is so hard to keep balance.
Ah Becca this is certainly a hard choice!! It has to be the dies for me as so many old and new ones I would love. Parisian I think after seeing your lovely cards.
Mind you if I were in a shop and perhaps there were some of the other choices
on the shelves, well erm!!
Hmmm…. you ask very tough questions, young lady! I agree with Peg’s comment, an “all of the above” option would have been most helpful. After a bit of thought, I ticked of die cuts. They can be a bit pricey so I thought my $90 would be best spent there. The paper and so on would come out of the food budget.
This wasn’t so hard since I have a copious supply of the other items and am trying to work within the supplies I own. However, there are so many new dies I want I would only have a hard time deciding which ones I want first.
Definantly new die cuts!!
I chose none of the above.
Right now there is a new cricut cartridge coming out I’d like(elegant edges)
and I’d like another rolling file for 12 x12 papers.
Otherwise, paper and embellishments are great too!
Hugs, Dawn
Funny this question came up on your blog this morning.Just last night I had $199. on a wish list at the Spellbinders site. Many of the new dies were already sold out but manage to find others I would love to have. I said to my hubby what the balance would be if I went for it and he just looked at me. Needless to say, these are still on my wish list. The creative book pages would be top of the list and I would still have $ left over. Have a great Monday Becca.
I like my spellbinders and use frequently. I also buy everything that is “Tim Holt”.
My choice would definitely have to be Spellbinders dies – and if I had any money left…Copics! I have noticed that I color everything with Copics!
Oh, I would love to have more of the Spellbinder dies and the stamps that go with them. Would also love to have the large Splellbinder machine and some large dies. Love all your work.
Since I’ve been crafting for several years, I have most of what I need and want. But I love all the new Spellbinder dies. I even have a gift certificate at Hobby Lobby but they never get the new dies until they’re old. They only carry the basics. Guess I’ll have to order on line. Good question. Edna
When I see what Becca does with the Spellbinders dies, I would like to have all of them and, of course, I simply cannot afford them all. So $90 would really cover a bunch of them. Definitely an easy choice for me.
Hi Becca! Well, I answered your poll—- I DID say, the other day, that I would buy die cuts, but I ALWAYS revert back to stamps!!!!!!! WHY DO I DO THAT???? When I could REALLY use those dies!!!!!!!!!! I see those images & I just CAN’T RESIST!!!!! Thinking they could be used on SO MANY THINGS! FORGETTING, dies can too!!! But, I DO HATE the way I have to keep buying those plates for my cuddlebug!!!!!!! ESPECIALLY, when there isn’t a place close by to get them!!!!!!!! I’m just going to HAVE TO DISCIPLINE myself!!!!!!!!! THINK ONLY DIES, THINK ONLY DIES!!!!!!!! :)
In the end I ended up with my #2 choice which is copic markers…However I really want to catch up on a few of the Cricut cart that I have had on my wish list!!! This was not a choice so I clicked the Copic Button.
Blessings,
Valerie
In the end I ended up with my #2 choice which is copic markers…However I really want to catch up on a few of the Cricut cart that I have had on my wish list!!!
Valerie
I would love to have some Spellbinders also. I love them.
I have a list of over $300 in spellbinders I want right now so it would be easy– of course, there is the $150 worth of stamps right now, too, so if all the spellbinders were sold out, I could still find an easy place to spend it.;-)
I went with the Core Crafter Tools. I’m trying to decide between the Grand Calibur and the Silhouette SD. Both pricy but I would love to push a button and have those wonderful box templates cut out for me from my computer. And the Grand Cailbur cuts so many dies at one time!
Since I mostly do bookbinding, I’d love a Crafters Companion. Of course I’d really love a cleaning lady to clean my craft room after I’m done a project.
That was a tough poll … it’s hard to just choose one. Typically I allow myself one of each!
Grand Calibur is at top of my wish list! Just to cut so many dies at one time and the larger ones too – wow!
this is not an easy question. Although I’ve recently gotten some of my wish tools like a Big Shot Pro, an airbrush and compressor, and I’m not counting all the dies, templates and stuff I have and want more of… and since I’m also a bookbinder and have problems cutting stacks of paper – straight and through a thick pile with any of my cutting tools at the moment – I would love a guillotine cutter. Of course I have no room for one… So maybe a HUGE craft room could be considered a tool??
The new Spellbinders! I see the lovely creations you share with us, and think “I have to get THAT one!”.
I chose the core tools as they are part of every card I make. Also would have to spend some on the new dies, so many to wish for!
Oh, Becca. You needed a category of ‘all of the above’! I put die cuts, but sometimes that just depends on my mood or where and what is the best deal at the time. Thanks for the fun.
I found that any easy one to answer…Spellbinders for me after seeing all your beautiful creations with them…you have taught me so much about how touse them together on a card.
Thank you Becca
LOL Eileen
Beautiful card, this was a really hard choice as I’d want it all. Really, I need paper and ribbons, so I opted towards that, and was on the low end of the poll. With out the papers I couldn’t create anything so I’m cool. :)
Lori m
I’m like you, I ponder, figure out what I will use the most, what do I already have that it will work with etc. etc. For now, Dies/templates are the thing I go for as they can add so much to your card. Second would definitely be new stamps :)
I have to say, this actually happens often in my husband giving me “extra money” and says, ” and that is for you to do with what you want.! Not for the kids or the house!” “Did you hear?” The first thing I do is go buy cartridges on my list for my cricut or adhesives…I have plenty of the other stuff right now! Paper would be next on my list…girl cannot have enough paper – second to diamonds!
Blessings!
I definitely wish I had a windfall of some “fun” money! The first thing I would do is give a big yell and tell my husband “let me get my discount coupons” and I would be out the door so fast all that would be left would be a trail of smoke! I have fun reading your blog without the money, so thank you very much!!
I agree with all of the above but would probably buy dies. Can’t seem to get enough of them particularly with your inspiration. Would also like Waltzingmouse matching stamps to go with some of the frames. I keep going onto their site to buy some then can’t decide which ones to get .Also wish we had coupons in the UK like you do for Michaels. We are lucky to get a decent sale here.
I would love a grand calibur machine. I just have my bug
I might have to eenite, meenie to choose between more Spellbinder Dies and all the new stamps with great inspirational messages. You know how we are, welove it all.
I’m sure I would pick up some new punches. I’ve been making my own flowers using punches and there are so many out there that I don’t have, but really need! I chose dies/templates as I thought they were the closest to punches. I do love Spellbinders dies tho and have quite a few of them.
Spellbinders!! I want them all. Currently I have about 10 sets and then you create a card with another set and I want that one as well. I don’t know how we lived without them. lol
Not a big question for me. This one is very easy spellbinders……..Can you have too many??? LOL
Wow Becca…wish there had have been a category of all of the above it would have been so much simpler lol…. but in the end I chose die cuts as it is something that I am just getting into. Your exquisite creations that use Spellbinders got me wanting die cut templates…all those possibilities!!!!
I’ve been drooling for several new dies and $90 would barely touch the surface. I’ve become obsessive with all the companies that have matching stamps and custom dies. Wow. I can make a lot of my stamps work but those new shapes are too nice.
I think of you often and you inspire me with your courage. I found your blog just as you lost your husband. My husband has advanced dementia and I was introduced to card making right after he was diagnosed. I do really tend to become obsessive about my tools. I start with quilling, then punch art flowers with stamping always as part of it. I have over 350 punches; you need several sizes for each one, right? But dies are easier and quieter so now I want more and more of them. But as I try to control myself and not bankrupt us with crafting candy, I thank our Father for my many blessings and cherish each day my husband remains with me and for the examples of others. Thank you.
I want everything, but you did leave punches off the list, which are one of my very naughty addictions.
I think that I want just about everything that I see…any way that is the way my husband feels…I just found the new doily dies and they are very very interesting…I believe that that would be at least one thing that I would want…along with oh let me see anything else I don’t have in my craft room..thanks for all your sharing
The Grand Calibur die cut machine and those giant dies to go with it!
I can see using them to make envelopes, boxes, tri-fold cards, all sorts of cool stuff!
I want a little bit of everything, but I would have to vote for die cuts. Thanks for the question and giving us something to think about.
I think mine would also be Spellbinder dies. There are so many awesome ones – but too expensive to buy all of them.
Becca,
I probably would want the Spellbinder dies but the Copic Markers would also be very nice. I have markers (no brand) but I guess they will have to do for the time being.
I love your site and all you share and thank you for the chance to win.
Would have to say die cuts. Love them all!! Have a few and love to work with them.
Becca,
I believe I would want the Spellbinders dies but the Copic Markers would be nice too. I only have 2 dies and no Copic Markers. Mine are unbranded and do for now, but the Copic markers are the ultimate.
You make lovely cards and are gracious to share them and videos that help us learn
1. New Spellbinders Dies
2. Matching stamps for #1 – Justright, Flourishes, etc.
3. If on sale eg.: 40% off at Hobby Lobby – Grand Calibur
4. And the list goes on………………………………….
That was a hard decision, but finally I would choose Spellbinder dies. I’m new to using them and you use them with all your cards.
Scor-Pal
My first choice right now is spellbinders. I feel like using them takes my cards to a different level of design. My second choice would be stamps.
Hopefully, I can use the stamps with my first choice.
That was easy. Spellbinders Dies – there is a big one that is 50.00$ and 2 that are 20.00$ each – goodbye 90.00$ and hello happy crafter!! LOL
After much thought I have decided on what to spend the $90.00 in mad money on.
I think I would put it towards the Creatopia machine which seems to do everything that I would want to do all in one machine.
Colleen
Easy choice for me Spellbinders dies- there are so many I would like. Anne
how did you make the flower on the card you made yesterday.
Hi Becca!
I love this new poll — I just thought you maybe should have
another choice…All of the Above!! LOL
Hope you have a great day! Thanks for such a great blog!
Wow, would love this to happen in the real world. : )
Great poll…Copics are on my list ($100 from Hubby at Christmas…when right to Carpe Diem (Copics!!!!!!!) and I love them…the “thing” not on your list…personal electronic cutter…I want a new one so that I ditch my Cricut!
This poll was the easiest yet! Spellbinders dies, for sure. Of course, if my daughter hadn’t forbidden me to buy any more ribbon, I might have chosen that option. :)
I am going to do this again. I was the first one, according to the counter on the poll, to select. But my comment didn’t show up. I love everything, but I answered stamps. On second thought, what I would really love to have is an electronic die cutter that would cut everything from the sizzix grand caliber, bigz, cuttlebug folders, and to the smaller spellbinders. My hands have a hard time grasping the handle if I have several things to cut out. Thanks for having the polls. I really look forward to seeing how they turn out and the differences between crafters.
I just spent my mad money on a Grand Calibur, so I can cut and emboss a lot more pieces at the same time, and it works grand.
I never can pass up a good bargain on ribbon. I love watching your videos on ribbon and then trying out all of the new ideas you give us.
Jan
