How bad is that when I have to go back and figure out exactly when I started this blog? Oh, yes, it all comes back to me now . . .
My first post went live on February 10th – three years ago, but I was so afraid that I wouldn’t have anything to say that I actually did five posts in a row and saved them all up and published them all on the same night, back dating them to beginning February 1st. I know it sounds odd but if you knew me better it would all make sense. Why? IRL, I’m kinda shy. It was, and still is, totally out of character for me to do something like a blog . I still laugh about this because I can still hardly believe it. My goodness, I never really thought anyone would look, ‘cept maybe my local girlfriends and John.
I’m sure you’ve heard the quote Rules for Happiness. Rules for Happiness: something to do, someone to love and something to hope for. This blog met the first need and in my case the other two were already taken care of :-) Somewhere in the journey I celebrated my faith, made a lot of friends, learned how truly kind people can be, figured out how to take a picture, improved my spelling, boosted my confidence, found a couple of companies that would let me use their products and sent out a card or two. I hope you’ll join me in celebrating – you all are a second family to me and I’m so glad you’re here! I read your suggestions about things I could offer and I like them all!! So here’s what I’m going to do this time around.
There will be a winner for each year that I’ve blogged that means 2 goodie pack winners plus 1 grand prize winner. The prizes are:
Grand Prize (1):
Spellbinders Grand Circles Nestabilities
Impression Obssession – Delft Cube #3
Provocraft Cricut Cartridge – Sweethearts
Sizzix Embossing Folders – Damask Set
Recollections Flowers
Pearls – pink, peach, blue
Basic Grey Glazed Brads
BoBunny Premade Page Pad
Prima Stamp – Flourish
Goodie Packs (2):
A Goodie Pack with 3 of my available cards
Cardstock Pre-cuts made using new Spellbinders Dies (Pick 5, 1 color per set)
(Thankfully because I have a Spellbinders Grand Calibur this will be an easy feat – lol!)
A JustRite Stampers Stamp Storage Mini Binder Box (this will protect your goodies as I send them through the mail)
The celebration will run for one week beginning right now and ending on Wednesday, February 16th at Midnight CST. As usual you are free to leave a comment each day, but the comment must be left on this post only. In your comment tell me what you are grateful for today, this can be anything and doesn’t have to be craft related. Please do me a favor – wherever you can – in a blog post, in a forum, when you’re talking to your friends, please mention I’m celebrating and send them on over to this post!! This time around I’ll announce the winner after 2/16 and the winner will have 24 hours in which to contact me. I’m finding 48 hours is a long time to wait for a winner and most people move on and forget or don’t know there are still prizes out there. In any case I’ll be sure to send out a notification once all the prizes are claimed. Thanks for helping me celebrate and thanks for spending time with me here at Amazing Paper Grace.
P.S. During the coming week I’ll have an “add ons” for the Blogaversary grand prize that I’ll post separately. If you’re a winner and have left a comment for that particular day, you’ll get the add on :-)
Don’t forget to leave your tips for the February 31 Days!!
(Whispering) S-W-E-E-T!!!
You’re so sweet!
Ohhh, the flowers make me think of spring! You can never have enough flowers! It makes me think of the saying that “if I had a flower for every time I think of you, I would have a bouquet”.
Sending you a big bouquet Becca.

Hi Becca, glad you had a lovely time with your family. I have two lovely children and I have also been blessed with a darling Granddaughter who will be three at the end on the month. She is so loving and caring and we look after her 4 times a week. She is a pure joy. She just loves stamping , sticking and playing with ribbons and flowers with me in my craft room. We have so much fun. Family is so important. Take care Love and Hugs x ChrisB
Hanging out with children is far more important than a project…in my humble opinion. I am sure you had a great time. {Hugs}

We all need a break from our creativeness once in awhile…but it keeps me centered being able to create…and I need that…..enjoy the family and thanks for all you do for us!!
TFS. Glad the kids came home to be with you. God bless and have a great day.
I think that spending time with ones family is one of the most precious thing that you can do. I certainly look forward to it, unfortunately only about once every 2 years but all else becomes less important in those hours.
This time often gives renewed vigour to carry on.
Kids make me smile :)
I love it when the family visits. It is always one of life’s greatest pleasures. Have fun Becca. As always Becca, TFS!!! :-D

I am so thankful that you did decide to start this blog. I stumbled on it last year and have so appreciated all of your projects. It also is a blessing to share in the moments that show your deep faith in God. He always brings the people in our lives that we need- it’s especially nice when those people are as wonderful as you! Happy celebration! I am looking forward to continuing to share special moments with you via your blog.

Good morning! I have been unable to submit a comment on your anniversary blog. I’m not sure what is wrong. I just wanted to say that I”m thankful for my husband. He has been so good to me helping around the house when I work. I am a truly blessed woman! Have a great day!

Getting to spend time with your family is always a good thing – cards can wait. What pretty flowers, thanks for your generosity, Becca!
Spending time with family is the sweetest time of fellowship for me and I would have made that choice over stamping any day of the year! Glad you had some fun with them.
Getting together with family is such a blessing for us. We have one very near, one not so far away, and one half way around the world, so it doesn’t happen very often.
Glad to hear you had a wonderful time with your family.
How special to spend time with your children! And besides, you deserve a break. Faith and family are the two most important things we have in life and we need to value them.
Dear Becca,
I really don’t know how you find the inspiration to create so many wonderful projects each and every day. It must have been wonderful to spend some time with your loved ones. Times like these are so very precious…worth more than anything money can buy x
It’s always fun to enter for blog candy, but utmost to see the LOVE that’s out there for someone who is so giving of her talent thru the beauty of her gifts of cards.
Thank you.
Becca, the beauty of your cards, your generosity, and the beauty of you as a person always brings a warmth to my heart. Thanks for sharing so much of yourself with all of us!
Beccca,
I am so very grateful for my family! I suffer with Fibromyalgia and am unable to do many of the things I used to do. My family has been wonderful…they clean and cook most of the time…and take so many loads off of me!
Aahhh..children. Truly a blessing. You deserve to enjoy your time with them!
Hey Becca,
Again, you remind me of something I’m grateful for. A person such as you, who gives of herself and shares her talent that others might make someone in their world smile.
Thank you,
Dianna N.

Love the flowers. A sure sign of spring, I hope it is just around the corner!
Thank you for sharing.
Your kids coming over is such a special thing. My resolution word this year is CHERISH. I chose a word instead of a goal, I heard the suggestion and liked it. I make cards for so many, sometimes just to say You’re Special. Someone told me this week I did a ” card ministry”. I have had a lot of people say that the card came on a day they really needed a pick me up. Your blog has inspired me so much,, of course mine never look like yours but it is fun to try and reach to look more like yours.LOL
sweet!
Oh so neat to hear the kids came for a visit, that is so worth not seeing one of your creations! Enjoy them!
Kids home….lucky you! Richness of life is what you celebrate.
Thanks so much,
Phyllis

Kids are back in school. Spring is in the air. I love the sight and smell of flowers. There is a smile on my face as I enjoy the silence of my house, you can hear a whisper.
Thank you for sharing. I really enjoy your blog.
God Bless
Carla
Also a whisper, love the add on.
What a great add on! Glad to hear you had a great time with your kids!
Blessings
I have started to add flowers to my cards and journals. They are great. Also, it is a blessing to be able to enjoy your children. Sad to say not all families grew up appreciating each other. I love my hubby and kids. Thank you for sharing your heart with us as well as your ideas.
Hi, Becca! Kids can be so wonderful and a great blessing! I’m glad you were able to spend some quality time with yours! The flowers are a great add-on to your already very generous candy! Thanks for all you do!

Pretty flowers. Think Spring. It will come. As God has planned.
Spring is a comin’! Love the flower add-ons.
So happy for you that you had a night with your children:)
Good Morning Becca,
What a lovely evening you must have had. I always have thought that the most wonderful gift two people who really love each other, can give each other, is the gift of children. Am so happy that you were able to enjoy your’s last evening. What memories are made of!!!!!!!
Thank you for your continued awesome creativity and generosity. You are inspiring.
I too just had a gathering of all the kids. Aren’t we lucky to have them!
Thanks for sharing all the great things in your blog candy!

Jessica
What a great time you must have had… always fun when everyone gets together. :-) Hugs, antonella :-)
Love it.
The jar of flowers is like you captured summer and can see it everyday by just looking at it–toooooo bad the aroma of them do not come also. Card making is like seeing the world throught others eyes as we are all so different in the way we think and make our cards.
Thanks for adding another jar in inspiration
What a wonderful surprise–Spring in a jar!
Thank you Becca!
I love using those flowers.
These flowers look so cheerful. I must be wonderful have your kids together!
Thank you Becca, so glad you had a visit from your family. I imagine it’s a real treat for them too, I’m sure they are grateful to have such a loving Mother. I know I’m grateful to have had one, her family always came first, and that gives me an incentive to be the same.
You are very sweet lady Becca & a sweet mom, too
Oh such lovely flowers!
Your kids are awesome to come and visit their YOUNG MOM!!!! I’m sure you enjoy every minute of their visit! Have a great weekend!
Nothing like seeing your kids to make your day!!! So happy that you spent time with them. Projects can wait!!! Love the flowers. Spring is in the air!! Thanks for all that you do!
Love the flowers Becca.
Hope you had a great time with your kids. Do they help you with your projects or it it the other way around?
I like “add ons”. I like winning too. I hope it’s me to get all the loot.
Wow, with the amount of canning I do I never buy the small “flat” jars and have always wanted to because they come in handy in a craft room or even my sewing room – a great button color sorter and they stay dust free and clean and look really pretty on a shelf in view. Can you tell I’d sure like having one….
The loot is pile is getting bigger – you are suck a sweetie to give goodies away! Love looking at your blog everyday to see what is inspiring you!!!
Wow, who doesn’t love flowers! ~Gin~
I LOVE little glass jars for everything scrappable !! I save all my small jeely jars and beg baby food jars from younger friends with little ones…then I decorate them up !
Such a sweet add-on! Today I am thankful for my children. Even though they are grown they are still my babies. My son’s birthday was yesterday and I teased him about how long I was in labor. When he apologized for that, I said, “No apology needed, honey. It was one of the best days of my life!”
Pretty! Just in time for Spring! I love having my kids all come home and hang out with me
A fun little addition to the candy. Thanks.
Love your add-ons Becca.
The ruffled background on todays card is awesome!!! I like the effect it gives coupled with the ornate edges of the diecut.
It’s nice to be sidetracked here and there, especially by family visiting, how nice for you. Glad you had a nice time. You’re so generous in adding more items to the Anniversary Blog Candy. Bless you Becca :)
I love flowers and that jar is so pretty too
thank you you are great
I love your blog…your work is such an inspiration to me, not that I case any of it (way too hard) but it just gets the juices flowing. Thanks for the chance to win some great stuff!
Becca, I’m having so much fun looking at all the tips that are being posted. I can’t come up with one yet as I have no new ones that aren’t already posted. But what fun. Great idea, Becca.
So glad you were able to spend time with your ‘kids’. Says a lot about how they were raised.
I think I’d like to sit in the middle of your crafting room and be allowed to take as much time as I’d like to look at – and mentally soak up – all the ‘stuff’ you have and how you have it organized. I can’t imagine the flowers and do-dads you have as well as all the dies and stamps and ink. Wow – I’m sure your area is stamper’s heaven!
Where did today go? Can’t believe the day’s just about gone, and I’m just now getting on the computer! But, it was worth the wait. The ruffled treatment on your card is soooo unique! LOVE IT! And, what a treat — that you’ve added an “add on”! You are so generous! Once again, thank you for sharing so much of your talent and yourself with us!
BECCA BECCA YOU DESERVE AN EVENING WITH YOUR CHILDREN AND THE CARDS CAN WAIT. THE CHILDREN ARE MORE IMPORTANT.
WE LOST OUR SON AT 30 YRS OLD BUT HAVE OUR DAUGHTER AND I
THANK GOD FOR HER. SHE LIVES ONLY 7 MILES FROM US SO WE SEE

BECCA YOU ARE BLESSED WITH A GOD GIVEN TALENT AND YOU

I love the pleated strips you do and…of course you used my favorite new die, the Parisan one. I have label eighteen on order. I thought it to be a neato. I just wish I could tie those bows but I guess we can’t do everything…LOL. I’ll have to get that enjoyment from you.
Have a blessed day in our Lord.
