Yoohoo, are you my winner? The first winner did not come forward to claim the lovely punch HERE and I’ll tell you, once I offer it, I want someone to have it.  So many people responded to the blog candy  that I would love to see it have a good home. Using Random.org another number came up, #45 which belongs to Lois Skiathitis. If you can please reach out to me though my contact page within 48 hours, I’d love to send this along to you. Now, back to that Ensemble I was showing earlier this month. I had one last piece to show – a simple notebook and then a picture of the ensemble all together. Using Spellbinders Parisian Motifs I was excited to see how easily the pieces link together.

I linked several in a line and threaded ribbon through them for a unique treatment. I glued this down to a
notebook and had another piece to my ensemble. Here’s a picture of everything all together. I hope you enjoyed it. I have several on these on my list to make for gifts this year.

SUPPLIES I USED

Stamps: None
Paper
: Bazzill, The Paper Studio
Ink: None
Accessories:
Spellbinders Parisian Accents,
Spellbinders Parisian Motifs, Spellbinders Standard Circles SM, Pearls

Thanks so much for stopping by. I’m right in the middle of finishing up a project AND a tutorial (I know, can you believe it?). I should be posting it later on today, or first thing in the morning. I sure hope you’ll check back.

    In a word “GORGEOUS”!!!
I am excited to say that I found more new spellbinders that are being released at CHA. I am sure you already know this, but maybe others that are reading this were not aware of it yet. They too can be preordered and are gorgeous. One that you have used and that several of us have been questioning because we could not find anywhere which is the Lacey Ovals. The others I found were the Fancy Tags Two, Fleur de Lis Doily Accents, & Fleur de Lis Doily Motifs. Jackpot!!! Just love them. Can’t wait for March. $$$$$$$$$$$$$. Have a great weekend, and Congrats to Lois for being the big winner.

I was looking closely at the little notebook, and wondered, how did you apply the designer paper to the cover all the way up to the top under the wire? Do you take out the wire it comes with and rebind it with a binding tool? Even looking at the picture enlarged I can’t tell, so I just had to ask.ReplyCancel

Wow did everyone spend the day Doing Becca Ensemble’s the site has been saying it was overloaded for hours, I too just feel in love with this ideal , and I couldn’t wait for this die to come out so I used Renaissance Hearts by spellbinders to interlock the middle piece together and did the little calendar as a table top card and wrote the birthdays on the inside for each month and circled the dates so all my grandmother has to do is see the circle and look inside to see her family and friends Birthdays. I couldn’t remember how what all Becca made and since We all were busy trying to make Becca Ensemble’s I had to think of what I saw which I guess I didn’t remember much because I ended up making a” note pad” and a “to do list” of course now tomorrow I need to run to Michales $1.00 bins for the real “note pad ” & “to do list” I just cut lined paper to size for this one. .Now to go get something to eat because I wouldn’t stop till I got this made ,I’m sure that now that I have it done the next ones wont take me all day. Thanks Becca for Hours of fun todayReplyCancel

I have Share the Wealth Blog Candy going on right now on this post HERE! Come play!!

Hi there, I have a new bow to share.  Actually it’s more accurate to say bow treatment but if you hate tying bows this “treatment” is probably for you!!  This has been on my work table forever, I was just waiting for the right card to inspire me to use it.  I put together this card using JustRite Stampers – Mother Natures Gifts.  The flower from the set is framed using Spellbinders circles and the sentiment from JustRite Stampers Fancy Tags Sets is stamped on a pennant accessory from Spellbinders Nested Pennants set.

Oh silver, where have you been all my life?  It seems to me that this month I’ve used so many things I don’t usually use.  Silver falls into this category and I sure don’t know why.  I love using foil for matting and accent and the silver in this card won my heart over.  These are different colors for me (yes, there’s even a little bit of lavender in there)  – another of those things I oddly steer away from.  With this serene K & Co paper, I could bring all these orphans out with abandon!

SUPPLIES I USED

Stamps: JustRite Stampers – Mother Natures Gifts (Original), Fancy Tags Set (Cling)
Paper
: Bazzill, K & Company
Ink: Dye based ink: blue, Versamark
Accessories:
Spellbinders Nested Pennants,
Spellbinders Standard Circles LG, Spellbinders Standard Circles SM, Floral Pin (Joanns), Pearls and Swarovski’s (Michaels), Ribbon (May Arts), silver embossing powder.

I have a video to show you how to quickly make this figure eight!  Enjoy!

Thanks for stopping by!

    Becca,

Thank you so much for this tutorial, I’ve always been memorized with the gorgeous bows you make and your tutorials are wonderful but often my hands just won’t behave for me to create them. This is just fantastic as I’ll be able to make these I’m sure. I’ve added ribbon with the sting to my shopping list and thought how very pretty a wreath and matching card would make. ;)

    Thank you again!ReplyCancel

I have Share the Wealth Blog Candy going on right now on this post HERE! Come play!!

Smooches friends!!  I hope you’re having a fab day and staying warm wherever you are.  I was as slow as a snail, but I put this card together today.  It’s much the result of  playing around.  I wanted to experiment with the new Rose Creations die templates from Spellbinders that were designed by Donna Salazar.  Oh.my.goodness, they are wonderful.  Here I took one and cut it out multiple times and painted it with light yellow watercolor paint and touched pink to the edges.  This is my first try with the coloring but I know I’ll go back and work with that more.  Once I had the flower done, I decided it needed a card, lol.  Here I used Lacey Pennants as a base – – there are two different triangles stacked the opposite way to create some interest in the background.

Try as I may to get the words on the outside of the card, it just didn’t work out.  I usually leave my insides blank but I flipped the words to the inside to spare me the angst of reworking the outside.  It gave me an opportunity to use that wonderful border from Spellbinders Banner Basics One – I just love that spikey border!  I’m using a new set by Our Daily Bread Designs called Faith.

SUPPLIES I USED

Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs – Faith
Paper
: Bazzill, Wild Asparagus
Ink: Dye based ink: maroon
Accessories:
Spellbinders Labels Eighteen,
Spellbinders Nested Lacey Pennants, Spellbinders Border Basics One, Spellbinders Rose Creations, Ribbon, Pearls

So I hope you find time in your day to create, what good therapy!!  Be blessed friends!

Becca, I have never used stamps from the Just Rite Co. Could you a tutorial on how these work and which ones would be good for a first time

    Oh Becca,
This flower is so life like. I pre-ordered most of the dies from the new release, but unfortunately, I did not get any of Donna’s dies. I am already regretting this decision and may have to do something about that. There were just to many to choose from. I love the unusal ways that you have been using the pennant dies. Leave it to you to recreate the wheel so to speak. Love it as always. Don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have my morning fix of Amazing Paper Grace. Hugs.

I’m running out of superlatives to write on your cards! Each gift seems to be more stunning than the previous one. I have a question regarding what type of paper you used to make the rose…cardstock?weight? For a few minutes of gazing at the card, the rose was just too realistic..I had to read the recipe. This spellbinder will be a definite ‘must’, but even so, MY flowers won’t look like YOUR flowers!!! Thanks for sharing. Hope the year has gone pretty well for you so far. God Bless.ReplyCancel

Gorgeous as always! I love that rose. It looks like the rose my dad grew when I was a girl. I this it was a variation of a Peace rose. I loved it. The year he died, there was one single blossom on the bush, and it had 2 inches of snow on it. What a joy it was to see that rose still there after the snow was gone! It was as though Dad was telling us he was ok, and no longer in pain! Thanks, Becca, for the walk down memory lane.ReplyCancel
