I have Share the Wealth Blog Candy going on right now on this post HERE!

Hi there.  Quick, frugal, mini – that was my goal today.  Lol, I wanted to make a little gift that someone would not necessarily make for themself yet I could make it quickly and not break the bank.  Well, you know how much I love the $1.00 gifts at Michaels, they are an embellishment bonanza!  The little flexible lid wooden boxes are back!!  They had them about 6 months ago and I picked up one but wished that I had picked up more.  I took the box and covered it with design paper left over after I made four little enclosure cards to go inside.

I used a stamp set from Our Daily Bread Designs called Faith that has four sentiments.  The cards are 2.75″ x 2.75″ each and the sentiments were small enough to fit just right.

The cards fit neatly inside the box and ready to give as a gift.

SUPPLIES I USED

Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs – Faith
Paper
: Bazzill, K&Company
Ink: Dye based ink:  green
Accessories:
Spellbinders Labels Eighteen,
Spellbinders Parisian Accents, Spellbinders Floral Doily Motifs, Spellbinders Floral Doily Accents, Ribbon, Pearls

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I’ll see you soon!

What a great idea, I’m thinking Mothers Day gifts and little just because gifts, now if you could just blow a smidgen of your design talent my way, I’ll be all set.

Beautiful and love the sentiments you choose.

While I was sleeping I passed another milestone!  Those of you who know me, know that I don’t take anything for granted – I would not be here save the readers who asked me to “carry on” and the Good Lord who whispers in my ear when I pray about what my next step is.  I’ve enjoyed over 11 million page hits on my blog and I still have a hard time getting my mind around it and it’s definitely something that doesn’t happen every month or couple of months.   I owe the thanks to you, the great readers who click through here every day when they have a free moment.  True to form (and even though we’ve had a few little blog candies recently) I want to celebrate – that means blog candy!

For this blog candy I’m sharing some of my favorite things (pulled from my Blog Candy Closet – kind of like your gift closet).  Have you all tried out the Grand Calibur?  Talk about a dream machine and the Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities Dies are an amazing product for both Card Makers and Scrapbookers.  Go ahead and enter even if you have a smaller die machine because some of these will work with the smaller format.  I’m also including some Prima goodies and some Recollections (which suspicously look like Prima to me).

To enter simply leave a comment on this post.  Comments will close some time on Saturday.  I’m going to go waaay back in time to dig out one of my favorite games that I thought up in 2008 called Share the Comment Wealth – it was ultra fun back then.  Remember THIS post?

Starts:  1/25/11                            Ends:  1/29/11 at Midnight CST

1.  Before you post a comment here on this post, go back through any of the comments I have on any of the posts on my blog.

2.  Search for a comment that has a name link that is clickable, in other words their name is highlighted in grayish blue or their name will let you click through to their blog site.

3.  Pick one of those comments and preferrably someone you don’t know and have never left a comment for before – not your own and not a webstore or retail entity.

4.  You guessed it!!!  Leave a comment, but be sure to say:  “Becca at AmazingPaperGrace.com is Sharing the Comment Wealth and I picked you” then leave them some kind words on their post.

5.  Then come back and leave a comment on the Blog Candy post telling me who you Shared the Comment Wealth with BUT please, please, please don’t leave a URL in your comment on my blog or it will get eaten up by my spam software.  Sorry about that but I’m a target for spammers so my software locks that down.

6.  You can leave a comment once a day and if you leave one for each of the five days, there will be a  good bonus thrown in the box.  Hint: these blind bonuses are good.

Thank you for helping to give back to the people who always have a kind word to say here!!  I’ll pick a winner using Random.org, will verify they left a Share the Comment Wealth Comment that day and give them 48 hours to snag their goodies.  The winner simply needs to reach out to me on my contact page to send me an email.  Good luck, and thanks for every second you spend with me here on Amazing Paper Grace.

A Note to Email Subscribers

Even though on some days you get more than one post from me, I want you to know that I’m working on a monthly something that can only be had through an email subscription.  Please don’t be frustrated if it seems like I’m filling up your box and please don’t unsub if you held on this long, lol!!!  I’ve been trying to get the new format of my blog in place for almost a year.  Once I’m closer to that goal, things will settle down a little bit, I promise it won’t always be this way.

Goodness, I thought I would have project done today, but it was not to be.  Tune in tomorrow, okay?

The problem with visiting a blog you’ve never been to before is the fact that now I have ONE MORE PLACE I’ll have to remember to go back to. So much talent in the world and not enough time to see it all.

Congratulations on a really outstanding milestone. I really enjoy your creations and I think my style has been greatly influenced by you!

Hi Becca… I’m not entering for your blog candy because to be honest, I don’t have time to search for a name, visit another blog, leave a comment there and then come back here and leave a comment telling you about that comment… I especially don’t have time to do that 4 times to enter each day until Saturday. BUT… all that said, I wanted to congratulate you on such an important milestone!!! WOW!!! I keep thinking that someday I’ll actually start a blog… but can’t imagine that anyone would even visit it! LOL!! Your talent is great and I can’t thank you enough for sharing all your beautiful projects with people like me out here in “papercrafting land”. It is such a joy to look at your lovely cards and learn from someone as talented as you are! Thanks for being there and for being so generous with your talent.ReplyCancel
