Hi there, I’m so excited because I’m dabbling with a new set from JustRite Stampers!  Oh my goodness there are three new sets being released this week and this is the second.  It is a set of sentiments that go along with several sets of Nested Frames.  The set I’m working with today is called Nature Nested Sentiments and Verse and the Nested Frames I’m using are from the Victorian Nested Frames set.  (Pop over here to see the set that was released yesterday – Backyard Birds.)

For my card I cut four frames using Spellbinders Classic Long Rectangles LG #3 and #5 and cut out my sentiment with Long Classic Rectangles SM.  I butted two of the frames up next to each other and placed another frame on top then weaved my ribbon through just like you would do on a buckle.  On the edge of this trio of frames I used Spellbinders Lotus Border Petites.  For the last frame I seated my sentiment behind and popped it up for a little dimension.   To finish I added some pearls and a flower.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  JustRite Stampers – Nature Nested Sentiments and Verse, Victorian Nested Frames
Paper:  Bazzill French Vanilla, Coredinations – Moonstone
Ink:
Accessories:  Spellbinders™ Classic Long Rectangles, Spellbinders™ Classic Long Rectangles SM, Spellbinders™ Lotus Border Petites, Pearls, K & Co. Brad, Ribbon

Becca: What a gorgeous card…would like to see you add a saying about Pearls….you mentioned you are a child of God, how about doing another card that says” “Precious Pearl” Glory To His Name I Am A Precious Pearl”ReplyCancel

Hi there, today I was in the mood for shades of green and I think this card fits the bill.  I’m showing a fabulous set from Our Daily Bread Designs called Don’t Worry and a border called Flower Frames as well.  There’s just something about a border that helps delineate and help guide your eyes on a card.  This border is especially nice because it fits so many of the stamps in the Scripture sets.

I tucked a panel cut with Spellbinders Labels Eight up under the edge of my scalloped paper.  Then I popped the sentiment up on a Mega Ovals LG backed by Mega Classic Scalloped Ovals LG.  I probably didn’t share this but for years and years I sewed.  I haven’t had time to do this in quite a while but the other day I came across a huge stash of laces that had been tucked away.  Oh how I love lace!!  So this is a lace that I’ve had for years – so glad it could find a happy home on my card.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – Don’t Worry
Paper:  The Paper Company, Bazzill
Ink:  Ranger Distress Ink – Peeled Paint
Accessories:  Spellbinders™ Labels Eight, Spellbinders™ Mega Oval LG, Spellbinders™ Mega Classic Scalloped Ovals LG, Lace, May Arts Satin Ribbon, Pearls, Button

By the way, if you get an opportunity stop by the Spellbinder Blog.  The hunt is on for an International Guest Blogger for Spellbinders  for the fall of 2010.  This is your chance to show your stuff and the winnings are awesome.  C’mon now, don’t be shy!!

Thanks for stopping by!!  See ya soon!

Good morning, Becca! What a pretty card. Of course, I love the green and the stamp message. Under the beautiful lace is another scalloped piece – is it an edge punched from designer paper or is it white card stock that you stamped and then edge punched?

Thank you for sharing your art with us, Becca.ReplyCancel

Hi there, I’m actually back with a card.  I’ve been taking it easy for the past couple of days.  Injury to both of my shoulders finally sent me to the doctor and I had my first physical therapy this week.  Ugh, enough of that – I’ll be fine.  Today I’m using one of the new Our Daily Bread Design sets called Light – from the Full of Grace Collection  – I think this is my most favorite set this month.

I added a piece of soft vellum edged with Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Border Petites over a piece French Vanilla Bazzill.  On top of that I popped up another French Vanilla panel cut with Spellbinders Curved Rectangles and stamped with the sentiment from Light.  I crossed the panel with a line of pearls, wide lace and satin ribbon before I anchored my rose.  I tucked the swirl from Spellbinders Fanciful Holiday under the rose for leaves.
Sigh . . . pink.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – Light (Full of Grace Collection)
Paper:  Anna Griffin, The Paper Company – Vellum, Bazzill – French Vanilla
Ink:  Color Box Chalk Ink – Pink Rouge
Accessories:  Spellbinders™ Classic Scalloped Border Petites, Spellbinders™ Curved Rectangles, Spellbinders™ Fanciful Holiday, pearls, May Arts Satin Ribbon, lace

Have a great weekend everybody!

Hi Becca – stunning as usual. That rose is absolutely beautiful – how did you make it… are you going to do or have you done a tutorial on it?

I hope your shoulders are soon feeling easier. I have a lot of aches in my left side as i had major surgery a few months ago – I had to have a thoracotomy to remove a tumor from my pleural cavity (pressed against my lung) and i’m still off work from it – loads of nerve damage and now having a treatment on it by way of a cream with chillies in – apparently the chemicals from the chillies confuses the nerve endings… crafting is painful most of the time so can only do little and often.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful creations.
