How adorable is this sweet little flower girl!!  The new Magnolia characters from the Wedding Collection over at Magnolia-licious are all equally as adorable.  This is #3040 Flower Girl with Petals – I had to really struggle not to do her dress in pink, lol!!   Just for a little change of pace, I colored her up with Distress Inks.

For a little bit of a different look I cut the edge of a white panel with a Tim Holtz Brackets die then cut the edge of a green panel with a Tim Holtz Scrollwork die.   The sweet little daisy’s were a premade Martha Stewart diecut sticker set that I thought would fit well with a flower girl.  I cut a Spellbinders Labels Ten panel and cut a tight mat to frame her with.  Lastly, I took two ribbons – the lace ribbon is slightly wider than the satin and I stacked them before tying.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  From Magnolia-licious – #3040 Flower Girl with Petals
Paper:  Martha Stewart, Bazzill, 140# Strathmore Watercolor Paper
Ink:  Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossing powder
Accessories:  Spellbinders™ Labels Ten, Tim Holtz Sizzix Brackets Die, Tim Holtz Sizzix Scrollwork Die, Martha Stewart Stickers, May Arts Ribbon, Pearls

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

That corresponds with this comment!

All ya gotta do is reach out to me through my comment page and send me your address dear and I’ll drop these goodies in the mail for you!!  After 48 hours I’ll give someone else a chance.  In the mean time, back to work for me and I’ll be back soon.

Well this is how it works.  I had another card almost done until I ran into the CPS Sketch (#173) design for the week and I absolutely love it!!  So I trashed what I was working on and hopped on board this train!!  Gracious!!  I haven’t done a sketch challenge in quite a while but there’s a reason I wanted to do this one.  One – I {heart} tall cards, don’t you?  They get me out of my 6" x 6" comfort zone.  Two – My friends showed me how to make those funky little origami folded round paper medallions about a week ago at our stamp gathering and I’ve been dying to use them on something.  Voila!!  Check!!  Three – I simply adore the new rectangle sets by JustRite Stampers and the layout of the sketch was just begging – you hear me – begging, for a rectangle frame ;-)

Okay, so I pulled out my new JustRite set called Victorian Nested Frames and inked up  that elegant rectangle border then cut/embossed it with Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangles LG #4.  I perched that on top of Spellbinders Mega Ovals LG and on the inside of the frame I cut circles with Spellbinders Classic Circles SM and I used the sentiment from Just Rite Birthday Centers Round.    My little origami foldy things are also done using Spellbinders Classic Circles SM.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  JustRite Stampers – Victorian Nested Frames, Birthday Centers Roun
Paper:  The Paper Company, K & Company
Ink:  Colorbox Pigment Ink – Chianti
Accessories:  Spellbinders™ Long Classic Rectangles LG, Spellbinders™ Mega Ovals LG, Spellbinders™ Classic Circles SM, Ribbon, Pearls, Zva Pearls

I’ll be posting this week, but I’m working diligently on "stuff" in the background.  That means I’m up on some hard deadlines but I’ll be popping in here with whatever I can muster up.  In the meantime, I need to get the current blog candy winner picked with Random.org and announced.  Yep, it’s gonna be a busy week!!
