Hi there friends!  I hope you are having a glorious day.  I’m puttering around trying to get caught up on some things, spending time with the family and just wanted to pop in to let you all know the blog candy was claimed but the punch is still up for grabs.  I picked another number through random. org and will keep my fingers crossed that  someone can produce the six words  :-)  I’m hoping I did not make it to difficult.

So, random.org picked 242.  Jeannie if you can reach out to me through my contact page with the six words, the punch is yours.  Don’t despair – if not claimed, I’ll keep on trying, just stay tuned!!

Hi there!!  Well, I’m ready for the graduates!  When I sat down to play I wanted a gatefold kind of card to put in my bag of tricks for when I need graduates card quickly.  These are simple – they are made with a 12" x 6" piece of paper that is scored at 2", 4", 8" and 10" for the gatefold.  Just to keep things simple I used double sided paper.  Both of these are made with the For the Graduate set from Our Daily Bread Designs.

The first one is intended for a female and the second one is more on the masculine side but could be given to a female also :-)  I covered my bases.

I put a pocket on the inside to hold a little bit of cash.  This could easily be modified to hold a gift card instead.

Since all the paper is double sided, it doesn’t look bad from behind either.

The size on both is 4 1/2" wide by 5 1/2" tall.

Good evening friends!  It was wildly fun to watch your responses come in for favorites songs.  I’ve picked a winner for the blog candy but be sure to stay with me to the end of the post for all the blah, blah, blah :-)  Today I have a simple card to share.  It’s made with one of the new Our Daily Bread Designs sets and is called God’s Hands.  I wanted to use my Spellbinders Inverted Circles and decided to use them to make a layered frame with a circle inset.  The card is flat on the outside and simply recedes to the inside with frames.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – God’s Hands
Paper:  Marcella Kay – Sophie, White 130lb Cardstock – Xpedx
Ink:  Versafine – Onyx Black
Accessories:  Spellbinders™ Classic Inverted Circles SM, Spellbinders™ Standard Circle SM, Spellbinders™ Fancy Tags, Spellbinders™ Polka Dot Frame (Used inside), Ribbon, Zva Creative Pearls

Alrighty now to move on to the good stuff.    For the Blog Candy I used Random.org to come up with a winning number and it gave me Number 182 that matches a comment made by Billie A.

Billie, please reach out to me through my contact page at the top of my blog within 48 hours and give me your mailing address.  If you can include the six words that make up the bonus and can include them when you contact me with your mailing address, you’ll win that lovely punch!!   The rest of you should keep those words because if Billie didn’t play that part of Double Play, I’ll pick a new name through random.org to see if they have the six words to win the punch :-)

Thanks for stoping by!!
