I just received these sweet new Magnolia designs from Magnolia-licious and I couldn’t help but sit right down with them and figure out which one to stamp first, too cute!!   My little Tilda hanging from the tree is called #317 Dangling Tilda and is just in from the Right Through the Heart and Raising the Ceiling Collection.  If you don’t see her in the store, simply leave a message for Diana and she will let you know her next availability.

I have been on quite the blue kick and have used cream with almost everything I’ve done this week.  I picked these papers from my Chloe’s Closet stack and loved they way they looked together. I cut Spellbinders™ Long Classic Scalloped Rectangles SM and topped it with a Spellbinders™ Long Classic Rectangles SM.    I then created the rolled flower from some organdy trim that I have in my craft room.  After adding leaves and a flourish I finished off with lace and ribbon.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Magnolia-licious – #317 Dangling Tilda
Paper:  Making Memories – Chloe’s Closet, The Paper Company, Bazzill
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, Antique Linen Distress Ink
Accessories:  Spellbinders
Long Classic Scalloped Rectangles SM, Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangles SM, Bosskut – Flourish #0364, Ribbon, Leaves, Stamen, Organdy Trim, Lace, Copic Markers

Thanks for stopping by.  Tomorrow is a Blog Hop with prizes from Our Daily Bread Designs, hope you’ll pop in and see me!!

Hello there!  I’m pleased to say that the winner of the blog candy stepped forward; I’m so glad.   No worries though there is more to come.  In the meantime I have a quick card to share today and I’m playing along with the Featured Stamper Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. For my card, I grabbed some scraps left over from yesterdays card and sat down to work.  I love the tealish greenish blue that I used so I found another design paper to go with it.  Now the Featured Stamper is my sweet design team mate Angella Crockett and I picked THIS card from her gallery  to case.  What I changed on the card is the color, the punched border and the shape of the focal image.  I’m intrigued by this new Spellbinders™ Cherry Pickin’ Frame – I can already see that it fits in with lots of the existing shapes and shows off when it is layered.  On top of that frame I set Spellbinders™ Labels Five.

I used this fabulous quote from one of the new Our Daily Bread Designs Sets called He Watches Me.  Of course since this is a case of Angella’s design, it gave me license to use the biggest, fattest, prettiest ribbon I could find, lol, twist my arm, right!  So after indulging in that big bow, the design is finished off with a punched panel using a Martha Stewart border punch and a couple of pearls.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – He Watches Me
Paper:  Cosmo Cricket, Bazzill, The Paper Company – Blonde Columns
Ink:  Color Box Chalk Ink – Prussian Blue
Accessories:  Spellbinders
Cherry Pickin’, Spellbinders Labels Five, Ribbon, Pearls, Martha Stewart Border Punch

Thanks for stopping by today, can you believe it’s almost March.  Hold on, it’s gonna be a busy month!

Hi there friends, I have updates to share with you today about Blog Candy so stick with me and I’ll cover the updates at the end of this post.  In the meantime,  I’m back to share a card with you using two of the newer sets with JustRite Stampers called Romantic Sentiments Centers Rounds and Breath of Spring Borders and Centers.   I cut a frame using Spellbinders Cherry Pickin’ and cut a second oval frame using Spellbinders Classic Ovals LG #3 and #5 and popped it up over the cherry frame.  For the sentiment I cut an oval and  nestled it underneath the two frames.  In addition I used  Spellbinders Easter Borderabilities Petite create the border underneath my ribbon – I simply covered up all of the border except the very edges.

All areas are distressed with Antique Linen Distress Ink.  The final touches are ribbon and pearls.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  JustRite Romantic Sentiment Rounds and JustRite Breath of Spring Borders and Centers
Paper:  Webster Pages, Bazzill

Ink:  CTMH Ocean
Accessories:  Spellbinders Classic Ovals LG, Spellbinders Cherry Pickin’, Spellbinders Easter Borderabilities Petite, Ribbon, Pearls button.

Several have emailed me to ask about the lattice basket I created recently.  I am working on the diagram and hope to share it next week.  I have a couple of deadlines and commitment to get through first but it is coming, no worries!.

Now, as for the current blog candy, through Random.org I picked the following number:

802

This corresponds with Darlene J

Darlene, please reach out to me through my contact page to claim your winnings.  I sure hope the second time is the charm.  After 48 hours (Monday morning) I’ll pick a new name if I have not heard from you.

For the rest of you, no worries, I still have some items to be given away so another blog candy is going up as soon as I can get pictures of the goodies.  Please come back and jump in on the fun :-)  By the way, thank you so very much for helping me celebrate my blogaversary month!

Lovely card Becca. The colours go together so well – ‘clean’ The pearls, button and bow give it that touch (your touch) of elegance.
    Congratulations to Darlene – enjoy.
