Good Morning. I have a thank you card to share today and as promised a little hot diggety dog bliggety blog candy. . . hee hee! First my card – my goodness have you seen the new Flourishes sets called A Year in Flowers? Oh my heart be still!!! They are absolutely gorgeous!! I took one of the flower images from A Year in Flowers Calendar Set 2 (the roses) and incorporated them it into my card. The sentiment is from Flourishes Winter Bouquet.
Today I went with a side fold card (rare for me) and shaved an inch and a half off the right edge of the opening fold. For the focal point I sandwiched the small frame from Spellbinders™Decorative Frames in between two oval frames made with Spellbinders™Petite Ovals Large. Inside of that I nestled my roses cut out of a smaller oval. The roses are simply colored with Tombow markers. My card size is 5 1/2" wide by 6" tall.

Okay now for that blog candy . . . I haven’t given blog candy in quite a while but wanted to celebrate the move of my blog to a bigger, more powerful server with a new host. I did the happy dance knowing I would be leaving those pesky little Resource Exceeded errors behind. So, I recently made a card using new Martha Stewart punches – you can see that card HERE. I got a couple of emails asking where to get the punches, not realizing they are new, new, new. So, I thought it would be nice to give out one of the punches for a sweet reader. You never know I might drum up something else to throw in – some cards or who knows. Anyways, I’ll put this up to pick someone on Saturday, January 9th. Enter once a day for as many days as you like between now and then. I’ll pick a winner by random.org and give them 48 hours to get back to me. Oh, the other items with the punch is a set of word stamps – 6 of them – that say "Inspire", "Gratitude", "Dream", "Inspire", "Live", Happiness" and "Friendship". Again, thanks for hanging in there with me through those frustrating errors!!

I can hardly stop looking at your perfect bows! Your style is just so beautiful. Anyone receiving one of your creations has to just be bowled over by your talent. Thank you for a chance to win some blog candy. I got a Martha Stewart punch for Christmas, it was the Cup of Coco that cuts and embosses. I didn’t realize that it was an embosser until I opened the package and looked at the back of the die and it works really good. I’d gotten the Haunted house a few months back and it did not work well, like it was dull or something and I was afraid to try and sharpen it with tin foil, as it had all of those tiny windows, so I took it back to the craft store, but I love all of my single MS punches. Happy New Year.
