Hello there!!  Another quick card to share ;-)  This is from the new releases for Our Daily Bread Designs and this set is called Luke 2:11.  It features both Christmas sentiments plus this lovely poinsettia.  I dipped into the K&Co design paper again for this traditional pairing.  To set the main panel apart, I backed it with Spellbinders Scalloped Edge Frame.

My hubby will never believe that I can get to the point in a post like I have today.  I’m printing it as proof to him.  In the meantime, I’ll see you soon with more to say!!

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – Luke 2:11
Paper:  Bazzill, The Paper Company, K & Co. – Evergreen Mat Pad
Ink:  Colorbox Pigment Cranberry
Accessories:  Spellbinders Scalloped Edge Frame, Velvet Ribbon, Making Memories Pins, Clear Embossing Powder

Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it more than you know :-)

Becca, I like your card today. As I was looking at it, thinking something’s not quite right here, it struck me!! Becca, there is NO BOW!! Not even the stamped Northwoods bow that you’ve used in the past. There is NO bow of any kind!!!!! Yes, there is ribbon that’s a given. I keep going back to check thinking that my eyes are playing tricks on me. Really you did manage it, no bow, WOW. (LOL)

Amazing and inspirational as always, bow or no bow!

Hello there!!  What a gorgeous sentiment from Our Daily Bread Designs and their November release called Christmas Verses.  I love this set because I can’t tell you how many times I purchased "Merry Christmas" and such – this gives me something a little bit different and majestic that really catches the eye.

I couldn’t resist the classic layout for the card but the design paper really gives it some umph.  My central panel is cut from Spellbinders Labels Four.  I have to admit that I would never pick this color combination but thanks to K&Co, I think the tealish color and red are dazzling.  Accented by the poinsettias on the design paper, the red bow pops.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – Christmas Verses
Paper:  The Paper Company, Bazzill, K&Co – Evergreen Mat Pad
Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories:  Spellbinders Labels Four, Ribbon, Clear Embossing Powder

I hope your day was extra special.  I’m out of pocket right now so my commentary is brief today.  I’ll be back with my longwindedness soon ;-)

Square snowflakes?  Well I’m just crazy about the new square frames in the November release for JustRite Stampers.  They are available beginning tomorrow, November 13th at JustRite Stampers!  I played around with the frames a bit and decided to rotate the square design in a circle to form a medallion.  On top of that medallion, I had a large glittered snowflake that was the perfect layer to hold my border and center which come from the Merry Little Christmas Borders & Centers Set.    All that square goodness was cut using Spellbinders Classic Square Large.

Using one of the new 2" square borders I cut/embossed 9 squares and then stamped with Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder.  After I arranged them in a circle, I mounted my wooden snowflake followed by a border and center.    Here is a glimpse of those cuties below!

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Merry Little Christmas Borders & Centers Set, 2" Square Borders
Paper:  Coordinations,  MAMBI – Christmas, Paper Studio (textured paper)
Ink:  Versamark and white embossing powder
Accessories:  Spellbinders Classic Square Large, Wooden Snowflake, Pearls, EK Success Corner Punch

Thanks for stopping by, I so appreciate the wonderful comments you leave.  Have a fabulous day!!

Becca….I am so glad I signed up on your site yesterday to get your posts directly, rather than from links on other sites…which I had been doing up until now. That’s because I decided that I didn’t want to miss any of your posts in the future…they would always be there individually right in my inbox in plain site. This creation reinforces why that was a good choice, because you have such a creative and talented vision on how to use your products in a way that often blows me away. Daughter and I have been stamping together for 10 years (with a pretty big product inventory to show for it) and no matter how much we have improved over time, you have so much to teach us and others, on how to look at things from so many different angles. Bless you for sharing your God given talents, and for chosing this path to bring joy to so many.ReplyCancel
