I have several projects to share with you today and have been waiting with great anticipation!! To start, I will be sharing a vintage look Christmas Card made using S5-018 Poinsettia Frameability. The template absolutely begs to be stenciled so I will take you step by step through the simple process with a tutorial below:
(Special note: Please remember that many hours go into the making of tutorials so I ask that pictures and content not be republished elsewhere. I encourage and welcome you to share the details by linking directly to this post.)

Let’s get started:
The detail on this die template is amazing and the dimensional poinsettia is a fun element that you can either accentuate or play down. As for me, on all the projects I’m showing it was wonderful to let the rich red card stock below peek out.
Now on to my second project – a set of ornament boxes! This frame is perfect for showcasing an ornament for this years ornament swap!! The cut out part of the frame makes for a neat way to see and show off the contents. The top folds up and down to allow the ornament to be removed. The box is 4 1/2" on each side and with the top in place is 6 1/2" tall.
After constructing the box, I created four panels using Spellbinders S5-018 Poinsettia Frameability. I stenciled the poinsettia and leaves on each panel then applied gold leaf to the remaining decorative scrolls on the frame.
Here is a view looking down at the top that spirals open.
Here’s the ornament outside of the box. The ribbon on the ornament threads through the top and serves as a way to tote the box also.
Project Recipe:
Accessories: Spellbinders S5-018 Poinsettia Frameability, Gold Leaf, Helmar Vellum Spray Adhesive, Pearls, Copic R29, Ribbon, Scor-Pal
Stamps: None
Paper: Strathmore Art Paper 12" x 18", Acetate
Ink: SU Ruby Red, SU Old Olive, SU Always Artichoke, Tea Dye Distress Ink

While the larger box would go to the swap recipient, I also made a smaller box appropriate to give to the swap hostess. So here is the smaller matching box. It has a peek-a-boo hole at the top so that you can see the contents inside.
The box is a 4" cube with a short lid. To decorate the sides I used Spellbinders S4-218 Lattice Borderabilities. In order to create the peek-a-boo hole at the top I used Spellbinders S4-113 Classic Ovals, Small then decorated the opening with the smaller frame from S5-018 Poinsettia Frameability.
Project Recipe:
Accessories: Spellbinders S5-018 Poinsettia Frameability, Spellbinders S4-113 Classic Ovals – Small, Spellbinders S4-218 Lattice Borderabilities, Scor-Pal, Prima Flowers, Ribbon, Green Shred
Stamps: Quietfire Design
Paper: Strathmore Art Paper 12" x 18"
Ink: SU Ruby Red, SU Old Olive, SU Always Artichoke, Tea Dye Distress Ink

I have the distinct feeling that many of these little boxes will be in my gift giving this year!
I’m tickled to introduce you to S5-018 Poinsettia Frameability – MSRP $24.99
The S5-018 Poinsettia Frameability is made up of a large frame, small frame and two accents. The size of the large frame is 4 1/8" x 6 1/8" and the dimensions of the small frame are 3 5/16" x 2 9/16". MSRP of the S5-018 Poinsettia Frameability is $24.99.

Wow! You are soooo creative with your card making and they’re all just so beautiful.
I love how you use Spellbinders dies – you make me want every single one you use and I’ve only recently started collecting.
Thank you so much too for crafting your faith and showing just how lovely scripture cards can be. We need more of this in the world.
Blessings
Stunning cards, Becca! I love the colors on both of them. I really love to see a tutoorial on how to make the flower. It gorgeous! Have a wonderful day!
Beautiful cards both of them. The one with the flower looks like a beautiful vintage card that some one kept in there treasure chest and they bring it out to admire every once in a while. TFS!!!
Oh Becca these are so gorgeous they give me goosebumps!!
Your faith shines through in everything you do.
I think you will have to do two tutorials though – one for the boxes and one for the flower. Please. (Er – you do know you have made me fanatical about Spellbinders dies?)
Hugs

Both cards are stunning! I have so many Spellbinders dies to get, and I haven’t even gotten many from the first set….I am sooooooo behind, but I love that flower and I have one of the Sunflower sets, so now need the other two and I can have that fantastic flower you made…I love the first card, too, only 2 colors and so very elegant!

Your cards are truely inspirational, Becca. Thanks for sharing.
Love both cards-so lovely! Since Amazing Grace is one of my favorite hymns I need to get that stamp. tfs

hugs
I just love this card, it is gorgeous, but then again, all of your work is stunning.
very pretty cards, love the porcelian feel of the first one and the flower is just beautiful on the second along with your bow!
Becca, these are gorgeous cards, as all of your cards are. I was especially drawn to the first card (blue one) for I love the sayings. It made me think of my sister who is going through some rough times right now. Her husband is in hospice care, she is disabled herself and so the weight of the world seems to be crashing down around her. She is strong in the Lords faith but everybody can still feel down. I will share this card with her so that she may feel uplifted with the saying.
Thanks for your inspiration to us all.
Karen
i just love how ornate and fancy your stuff is. i wish i had the vision to imagine what you seem to capture effortlessly. i look forward to borrowing inspiration from you, daily.
Becca, I NEVER grow tired of seeing your beautiful work! Wow, these are both outstanding!!! God Bless!
