Welcome to the JustRite July Releases Blog Hop – there’s lots of new stamp goodness along the trail but first I want to share one of JustRite Stampers newest sets with you.  This is the JustRite Calendar Set with 12 Borders and Centers covering each month of the year.  I have been working on a book where I could store cards for special occasions and was just waiting for this Calendar Set to hit my door so that I could include it.   There’s a page for each month to record birthdays, anniversaries and such and a pocket to store cards.

I printed off a lined form with room for 31 entries and backed it with chocolate paper.   On one end I used a border punch and folded the border end down over my form.  I embellished the top of each page with Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Ovals LargeSpellbinders Classic Ovals Large and Spellbinders Classic Ovals Small

There’s lots to see today on the Blog Hop – visit each of these designers to see what they have in store:

I have two cards to share with you today.  They have been laying on my table for at least a week and Murphy’s Law was keeping me from getting them posted.  Sheesh, between blown lights, bad batteries, internet outage, lightning, web host issues and just plain ole being slam busy, Murphy and I have become good, good friends.  I sure am glad to have something to share though!  Both cards are from July releases with Our Daily Bread Designs and this one is the new Amazing Grace Single.

As a valance, along the top I used Spellbinders Grand 12" Heirloom Scroll Border (one of my favs).  It is stencilled with dye based ink and embellished with pearls.

    Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Design – Amazing Grace Single
Paper: K & Co, Bazzill, The Paper Company – Blonde Columns
    Ink:  Black Onyx Versafine
Accessories:  Spellbinders Grand 12" Heirloom Scroll Border, Ribbon , pearls

The next card is from one of the Our Daily Bread Design July releases called Mother Teresa – the sentiments on this set are fabulous!!  On it I used Spellbinders Foliage Frame and Spellbinders Classic Squares Large.  The card as well as all the smaller square frames are smudged with Antique Linen Distress Ink as well as Tea Dyed Distress Ink while sitting in the Spellbinders Die.

    Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – Mother Teresa
    Paper:  NRN, Bazzill
Ink:  Versafine Vintage Sepia, Antique Linen Distress Ink, Tea Dye Distress Ink
Accessories:  Spellbinders Classic Squares Large, Ribbon, Pearls

Thanks for stopping by today.  I’ll be back a little bit later with an edit to add the recipe.

Hi, Becca! I absolutely love all your cards! No one can even come close to your beautiful cards!
I have a problem– I recieved my order of new Spellbinder dies and the Fleur de Lis pendant does not work well at all. It does’t cut through all the way. I tried putting carstock under the magnet matt and put it through several times in different possitions, but it never would cut all the way through. I really love this design, but it is very frustrating that it isn’t working well. The tulip pendant works great, but this one is a real problem. Did you have any problems with getting yours to cut at all? The cards you made with it are great! I would sure appreciate any help! Thanks!ReplyCancel
