Good morning Friends!  Today the Creative Team and I are sharing makes using the Charming Cottage – we’re absolutely smitten with it!  In fact, today we’re showing you at least Six Ways to Use the Charming Cottage Year-Round.  It zoomed to the top of the favorites list for many of us and we started musing, how else can it be used.  Well, of course, it can be used for Christmas!  Just that use alone will provide goodie boxes to teachers, to the person who unexpected drops off a gift, well, to anyone.  Nothing like having a stash of goodies boxes on the ready during the holidays to reciprocate!!  All this week we marveled at how fun they are to make.  So I hope you scroll through and pick a favorite among all of the designers.  Most have made a Christmas Cottage and picked another occasion or two.  Link list at the bottom of my post…

Sweet Friends, Becca Feeken with Amazing Paper Grace here.  I’m so excited to be able to showcase my new Christmas designs!  Today I’m so tickled to show you a little more of A Charming Christmas Collection!  Stay tuned for giveaway details below, for the blog hop list and I also have some special dates to announce!!  The Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team will be having a Blog Hop to show you How to use the Charming Cottage for Year-Round Occasions.  So, let me tell you about this collection…

A Charming Christmas is a sweet little collection that you can use to make your Christmas Cards and to add that special love to your packages, presents, and holiday giving.  They have a sweet, elegant and traditional flair but take on contemporary with just a change of colors and embellishments.  Speaking of embellishments – I created the die sets so that they are personalized to claim them as Christmas by adding the charms that come with most sets.  That means, when you are not using them for Christmas, most motifs can be used year round.   I just love cozy things that remind me of all the beautiful holidays I’ve been blessed to live.

I just love the Charming Cottage die – you can make it anything you want, today it’s a pretty box!  Above,  I simply took the cottage and embellished it to match my decor for the season and it’s ready for sweet treats!!  I embellished it by adding the Snowflake Toppers and Borders and it added gold flowers with the Cinch and Go Poinsettia.

Spellbinders Introduces A Charming Christmas

I’m already finding that I reach for the Holly Jolly Christmas Card Front often.  It’s one of the easiest Christmas Cards I’ve made because the die does all the work.  I used the frame as a background here and added a sentiment on top.  This time my card is upright (portrait) but earlier I did a horizontal presentation along with the die cut sentiment that comes with the die.  Easy peasy!

Christmas Card making and the Joy of Making for the Season by Becca Feeken using Charming Doily by Spellbinders - see full post and supply list at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=34183
The Joy of Making for the Season is palpable when fall arrives.  I just itch, just yearn to create.  Back to when I was a girl and we would set aside a day to make Spritz Cookies in double-digit dozens.  That was the best day ever and was one of many highlights during the holiday season.   I love throwing my heart into it.  The same goes with cardmaking.  I love working through the year but something magical happens when we get into the season of giving. In these days, so sprinkled with hope,  I suppose I dream about one of my cards gracing a home or one of my gifts tickling someone deep down in their soul.

I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to create some Christmas dies with my  A Charming Christmas Collection.  They are food for my yearning to create and I find myself looking forward to tinkering with them.  Actually, this collection was designed a year ago, so I’ve been waiting with baited breath to create actual cards.

Joy of Making for the Season

I wanted to create a card with a bit of old world charm.   Along with sultry old papers, I picked the Charming Snowflake Doily to highlight.  I chose gold but I’ve seen this in both white and silver and those are next on my list.  This is a die that can be used year round, but the petite snowflake charm makes it Christmas :-)  It was fun to play!

Gorgeous card and die! I love creating but seem to do more experimenting. Then when I get with friends I will buckle down and do something productive. I set January and February for making Christmas cards as not to be in a rush. I’ve done all of this year’s already and will be designing for 2019 next.ReplyCancel

    Hi Becca,
ANother georgous card. Love how you brought the cookie making into your blog. Isn’t it something we did as children that makes our memories so special especially at CHRISTMAS!
I will be starting my cards (don’t do as many as I used to)soon. I now belong to a die cut echange so that is keeping me busy especially when they see your dies in my collection and I am happy to share die cuts with them. Have a great Sunday and bless you.

This card is just stunning. I love the colors and the elegance and LOVE that bow. I am actively working on my Christmas cards now. I make about 60 and try to hand deliver all of them. I really hate mailing things like this in the mail. Not only does it cost a lot to do so but I really enjoy the response of those I give a card to. The cards have a lot of heart and love put into them and their response is so heartwarming to me. God bless…Denice with a “c”ReplyCancel

I teach a card making class at the local community center. We are not as advanced as some of your followers but decided last year that we would devote one class per month to Christmas cards. It has been a fun adventure and I think everyone is ready for Christmas card time this year. You are always one of my greatest inspirations and I always present you to my ladies as my mentor in card making. This card will be one of our monthly projects, if you don’t mind. I love it..!ReplyCancel
